Myrtle Beach is home to an array of hotels and resorts that see a huge amount of foot traffic each year. Time, along with the large number of vacationers who visit these Myrtle Beach properties, can often cause reason for property renovations. In addition, some hotels that have been open for a long time will go through renovations in order to spruce up their look.

Bay View Resort
Located on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, Bay View Resort is a popular property among visitors to the Myrtle Beach area. Recently, this oceanfront property made some changes to improve vacation experience for their guests. Not only did they make outside changes such as resurfacing their Jacuzzi and lazy river, but Bay View Resort has also added new carpet and framed bathroom mirrors in each unit. Beach Cove Resort
In September 2015, Beach Cove Resort announced the grand opening of their new Town Center. The oceanfront Town Center was designed as a family-friendly space to enhance the vacation experience at Beach Cove Resort. The Town Center is home to the Grab N’ Go Grill & Coffee Bar, Winner’s Circle Arcade, and the Tipsy Turtle Beach Bar. The Breakers Resort Myrtle Beach

The Caribbean Resort is making tons of changes for the 2016 season! If you're staying at Caribbean Resort this summer, you will find extensions to the front desk, new crown molding in the Dominican tower, and new kitchen backsplashes in the Cayman tower. In addition, the Caribbean resort has added new pavers in the water park, a new wooden pool deck, a new fire pit, and new outside furniture. Crown Reef Beach Resort & Waterpark
Crown Reef Beach Resort made a ton of changes to their property back in 2014. After Vacation Myrtle Beach acquired Crown Reef back in August of 2013, it was time for some renovations to happen. Crown Reef was given some Room Refreshing in the winter of 2013 into the early spring of 2014. After, the Town Center was opened, which is a lounge and community area that features Swirl Ice Cream and Sweet Shop, Loco Gecko Beach Shak Restaurant, Grab n’Go Grill and Coffee Bar, Game On! And Winner’s Circle. On July 4, 2014, Crown Reef opened a new waterpark, too! Since those renovations, a new gift shop has been added, the pool bar has been renovated, a sun deck was opened, the lobby at the conference center was redone, and a new state-of-the-art fitness center was placed in Tower 2, along with a new laundry facility.View Profile » Visit Website
Landmark Resort recently decided to renovate their indoor and outdoor pool areas for guests to enjoy for the 2016 summer season. Changes to the outdoor pool area included the installation of an outdoor observation deck, which overlooks the ocean as well as the resort’s lazy river. In addition, the outdoor pool area was resurfaced with brick pavers, and new landscaping was added including new palm trees. New tiki huts were also installed in the outdoor pool area.
The indoor pool area was also overhauled at Landmark Resort. The floor of the pool area was retiled with brick pavers, adding a touch of modern style. Also, Landmark Resort also added more fountains along the back wall to create a more relaxing atmosphere. These new fountains work hand-in-hand with the gorgeous blue tiled fountain in the middle of the pool. Long Bay Resort
Long Bay Resort is home to 286 oceanfront units which range in size and can accommodate different groups. Each year, Long Bay Resort attracts a large number of vacationers, and this year the property is making changes to make your vacation even better. For added fun, Long Bay has opened a new putt putt course on the 5th floor sun deck. As far as in-room changes are concerned, Long Bay Resort has repleaced mattresses and installed new lighting in the North and South buildings. In the Savoy building, they took down wall paper, knocked down walls, and replaced kitchens and bathrooms with new granite and vanities. Ocean Reef Resort
Ocean Reef Resort made a bunch of changes for the 2016 season. The property has renovated all of their oceanfront bathrooms and have made several changes to the pool area. The pool area renovations include a new towel hut in the outdoor pool area, oudoor bathrooms in the pool area, new pavers, and the resort has removed a concrete wall and metal fence to open up the pool area.
