Monterey Bay is a great hotel for families. My daughter asks to come back here every year. The rooms are newly remodeled, clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. This hotel is in the northern end of Myrtle Beach and is very peaceful and quiet. The pool area is great as well with a pool, lazy river, and hot tubs. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful time at Monterey Bay Suites. We had a great view of the ocean from our beautiful suite. The parking was great, I was able to drive up to the floor I was staying on to park and did not have to walk across the street like other place’s I have stayed at in the past. I had their free breakfast in the mornings, which was a wonderful treat that no other hotel has offered. They had eggs, ham, grits, fruit and breads and my son also enjoyed the make your own waffles. The pools were very clean and relaxing, I was able to sunbath while watching my son enjoy the pool, lazy river and some of the games like ping-pong they had available on the pool deck. All the staff that I encountered was very nice and helpful to us. This was the best hotel that I have stayed at in a long time at Myrtle Beach and we will keep returning to Monterey Bay Suites for our vacations.

My family enjoys coming to Monterey Bay year after year. the free hot breakfast is so convenient. The suites are spacious and just right for our family of four. My sons love the pools, lazy river and ocean front lawn area. Everyone is very friendly and courteous on the staff. We enjoy staying on the lower floors because the parking garage is right there. Can't wait to come back again in the fall!

My family loves this resort! The free breakfast in the mornings is a huge asset to our budget. The views and location are great. I have two kids and the room size is perfect. Plus, they are steps to the pools and amenities. Can't wait to go back soon!

was there in may 2010 first time ever to the beach and the hotel made it very easy and relaxing the staff was nice,the price was great and the rooms were well taken care of. i have to be honest i was very sceptical about it but very happy we chose this hotel. we will go back without any doubt.
