My family and I stayed at long bay while visiting coastal Carolina with our daughter. The room was clean and modeRm and the staff, to included maintenance personnel - reception and management were pleasant and handled all our concerns promptly and professionally. Would definitely stay at the resort again.

What a great vacation! Their were several shuttles to beach provided, activities daily available! Definitely returning.

I have been staying at Longbay resort in spring for past 15 years and always a good experience with helpful staff and great amenities.

From the moment you arrive until the day you depart Long Bay has your every needs. If they don't, they will point you in the right direction to someone that does!! The staff always goes out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. Pool area, bar, kiddie pool and the lazy river rule!!

We love staying at the Long Bay Resort because of it's nice and spacious indoor and outdoor pools and the spacious three bedroom condo. What a pleasure to enjoy family time at the beach!!!

My sister and I have been coming to LBR for at least 5 or 6 yrs. We started out coming for a wk once a fall. Now we come spring and summer and stay for at least 10 days. We love it here. The staff is friendly. The resort is clean. The ocean is visable from the pool. What can I say! We only stay here! We tried another place once.....lasted 1 miserable nite! We love LBR!

I travel but it was my first time in South carolina and i enjoyed every minute of it especially the food was amazing i this year i am coming back for a family vacation and a little fun.

We have stayed at this hotel several times, and have enjoyed our stay every time. It is so nice that there is an covered heated pool for when it rains, along with a lazy river. Also, the outdoor pool is nice and large for many to enjoy. And the best is the ocean front view and direct access to the beach.

This place is amazing we have been coming here for 10 years. Lots of amenities and very clean. They have many pools and hot tubs that are open until 11pm. And it's right on the beach.

Myrtle Beach is the best place I have never been.

My husband and I have been coming to Myrtle Beach for over 15 years. We love the beach and the fun it has to offer. He loves the fishing and I love the shopping and area sights especially the botanical gardens. We are looking forward to our trip in 2018

There in August with wife and 3 grandkids. The weather was absolutely fabulous. Grandkids loved the water park at the resort and the lazy river.

Love long bay! Staff is so pleasant and the resort is well taken care of. We have stayed there several times and my husband stays there for a golf outing with several friends. They’ve stayed there for over 10 years.

We just love the beach n general. Myrtle beach has always been our favorite beach. Our last visit we went and did one of the,escape roos, and we had a blast. It was good quality family time together and it had,our adrenaline pumping

We have stayed at various hotels in Myrtle Beach since 1989, and no other hotel even comes close to how you're treated by all the employees, the cleanliness, and the hotel leaves nothing to be desired. This resort has the friendliest staff and best pool/beach area in Myrtle Beach. Had a few issues with room first two of eight day stay and was upgraded to better room at no additional charge. My partner and I have stayed here 10 times in the last 10 years. Best location as it is convenient to head either downtown or up to North Myrtle Beach. Stayed here a half dozen before 10 years ago. Much better than the other 4 places that I stayed at.

We were at Long Bay from 9/9 thru 9/16. Love staying there. The weather was perfect ( except for Sunday and Monday when Irma paid a visit). Long Bay did a great job securing everything and cleaning up the next day. I've been thru hurricanes before but nothing like what Irma was. Was kinda neat except when our room got soaked. Long Bay upgraded everybody's room that was affected. We drove to murrells inlet to Drunkin Jacks thru the tropical weather. Was kinda crazy getting there. They only stayed open half the day since the weather was so bad and the water was right at the restaurant. We've been coming to Myrtle Beach for 17!years usually in June. The past 5 years we've been coming in June and September. We love it there. Meet some great people that we see every September. Love the area. Long Bay has a great pool and grassy area. The beach is great too.

They are really doing a lot to modernize this resort, the lobby area has been completely redone and looks fabulous!! Starbucks in the lobby as well as Martin's restaurant. The pool area is always nice and clean, WE have already made reservations for the Savoy for next year!

We rent the condo 403 at the Savoy at Long Bay resort and it was awesome! The condo was beautiful and very well equiped. The view was stunning! We could see the ocean from almost every room and the balcony was really spacious. The resort had a plenty of things to do : pools and jacuzzis, restaurants, a tiki bar and an arcade. We went with our two kids and we loved our vacations! We will return for sure!

After several trips to MB, staying in different nice hotels, we were told about Long Bay Resort. That was well over twenty years ago and we have not stayed anywhere else since. It offers all the "things" you've heard about MB. Location is so important and all of MB is at your finger-tips. We are now in our 80s and MB is still our choice of vacation spots.

There is no place on earth like Myrtle Beach! My family and I have traveled there since I was a little girl and now my daughter loves it as much as I always have. Long Bay Resort was exceptional! We loved the many indoor and outdoor pools,the music that was played poolside, the spacious rooms and the wonderful staff that worked there. We have already recommended this resort to our family and friends and will definitely be staying again! Thanks Myrtle Beach and Long Bay Resort for helping us to make many lifelong memories!

This was our first beach trip and my little ones first time seeing the ocean! They loved it! The motel was amazing with the most perfect view! We were on the 10th floor so the sunset and sunrise were at perfect level! Such a nice and clean beach also! My kids have already been begging to go back! I highly recommend the long bay resort! You can't go wrong with the prices, the cleanliness of the rooms, the staff & I can't forget how convienent the Starbucks is 😍We will for sure be booking this motel again when we return (which is hopefully very soon)

I have been coordinating Myrtle Beach trips for my Golfing Buddies for 10 years, and have come back to the Long Bay Resort every year because of great prices, up-to-date accommodations, a terrific beach location, and excellent service from the Golf Director. As a volunteer trip coordinator all those factors are very important to me. There are a lot of other choices, but I have never had a reason to explore changing. The Golf Director at the Long Bay makes it easy to set up and run, so as coordinator I can enjoy the trip as much as all the other guys. All MB golf courses are available no matter where you stay, so pricing and service at a hotel that keeps up with the times are the reasons we keep coming back to Long Bay. Ocean-front condos with a living room, full kitchen, three bedrooms, two baths, and a balcony overlooking the beach make it feel like a home away from home. Oh, and the well-stocked buffet breakfast that is included in the package is so substantial you won’t even have to interrupt your golf round for lunch!

We went to Midevil Times for my granddaughters 6th birthday. We spent the weekend enjoying the indoor water activites at the resort. It was an awesome experience. The next time we go to Myrtle Beach we will most likely reserve a room there. We loved and enjoyed our visit.

We loved the hotel, everything was great. My 4 yr old absolutely loved it too. She loved the kiddie pool and keeps asking to go back. Our room was very clean and the staff were really nice!

This was our 1st visit to Myrtle Beach. We stayed at Long Bay Resort and had an absolute fantastic time. Our room was great with a separate bedroom and it's own kitchen. We spent a little extra to have the kitchen, but it was definitely worth it when we figure how much we saved by not eating every meal out. The balcony view was a little restricted because of a building in front but it didn't bother us. The weather was perfect every day. The beach was easily accessible from our hotel. My 6 year old granddaughter loved playing in the waves. It was her 1st trip to the beach and our 1st trip to Myrtle Beach. We will be back. In fact, my granddaughter said she doesn't want to go to any other beach ever again - only to MB!!! We had a blast!

With my husband facing major surgery, we decided to spend our 52nd anniversary at Long Bay Resort. The room was beautiful with a view of the ocean and was only a few steps to the indoor pool and the lazy river. We received a free breakfast every morning, and midday coffee at the hotel's in house Starbuck's What a wonderful time we had--the staff was so friendly and helpful, giving us directions for church on Sunday morning, and telling us where the best shows were for our anniversary celebration. We love Long Bay. We have been there for family vacations, but our romantic weekend was the best ever.

April 2016 was our first visit to Myrtle Beach and we stayed at Long Bay Resort, The hallway was a little outdated and the game room was closed. The condo was beautiful on the inside. My family had a great time. The pool area was wonderful. My next trip will be in the summer and hope we can stay there again.

We love the comfortable beds, how family friendly it is and right on the beach. You can do beach, rest and repeat.

Loved staying here in the off season. Was there in Oct for 3 nights. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and neat, and the pools weren’t packed. You could swim and enjoy the water without people on top of you! I

I had a very pleasant stay here. Everyone was attentive when needed. I got to relax by the pool, with a drink and take a dip in the ocean. Just what the doctor ordered!

Took a group of 25 down for a retreat weekend. Several little "hick-ups" that happen in large facilities occurred. The staff was quick to respond, curtious and apologetic. Things happen in life. We all hope to be given the change to make amends. They did. We were very pleased. The staff makes the place!!

Me and my two sisters stayed at Long Bay for the first time this fall and it was so nice, the staff was so helpful in everything from telling us about the places to eat to where to find certain shops we wanted to visit. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone and we noticed that it had a lot of things for children also. I take my three grandchildren to the beach on their spring and fall break and I plan to stay at Long Bay Resort.

Having a larger size family and vacationing with small children Long Bay Resort is your place. The 3 bedroom ocean front suites give plenty of room with every amenity of your home. Rooms are nicely furnished and are always clean. Hotel staff are always eager to please. Martin's restaurant offers a great breakfast with River City Grill close by for dinner. We've visited during all 4 seasons with great experiences each time.

Overall a nice choice. There are several pool/spa options as well as beach. The parking lot was a little tricky with first come-first serve availability. The units were nice enough for an extended stay. The dining options were affordable and the food was tasty. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Over the last 5 years our family has stayed with Long Bay Resorts. Not only is it reasonably priced but it is clean. They have one of the best housekeeping staff I have ever dealt with. Rooms are tastefully decorated with quality furnishings. Our particular 3 bedroom comes with washer and dryer in toom, full kutchen, 2 bath and a dining room. For a larger size family it can not be beat! Being located on the beach is great. The hotel offers 2 pools indoor and outdoor, lazy river, multiple hot tubs and children's water park with kiddie pool. After a long day on the beach we relax with the hotels free Red box rentals on site.

We've been staying at this same hotel for many years. It's always clean and the staff are friendly. We get to meet a variety of interesting people here and the location is excellent.

BUT FOR SOME REASON IT WAS NOT AS MUCH FUN AS USUAL. ONE THING THERE WERE TOO MANY PEOPLE AT THE BEACH. I PERFER GOING IN EARLY MAY OR OCTOBER WHEN FEWER PEOPLE ARE THERE. I LOVE MYRTLE BEACH. BUT I WILL NOT GET TO COME THIS YEAR. WE WILL NOT HAVE THE MONEY. NOT EVEN JUST MYSELF AND MY HUSBAND. EVERYTHING COST SO MUCH AND MY HUSBAND HAS TO WORK A LOT TOO. MYRTLE BEACH WAS THE VERY FIRST BEACH I GOT TO SEE. BACK IN 1961 MY AUNT AND UNCLE BROUGHT ME THERE. I LOVED IT THEN BUT IT RAINED THE WHOLE THREE DAYS WE WERE THERE. WE HAD TO LEAVE EARLY BECAUSE OF THE RAIN. THE LONG BAY BEACH RESORT WAS REALLY NICE. IT HAS A LOT OF POOLS INDOOR AND OUTDOOR. THE STAFF WERE VERY NICE ALSO. I DO PERFER TO STAY CLOSER TO THE PIER THOUGH SO AS NOT TO HAVE TO WALK SO FAR TO THE PAVILLLION.

The staff was awesome- providing us with coupons- freebies- maybe all guests received them- but they deliver in a way that made you feel as it was just for you!

Our stay at Myrtle Beach was amazing! The hotel was fantastic with all the different pools and the lazy river was the best! The Long Bay Resort was very clean and the staff was excellent! I would highly recommend adding this place to stay on your next trip to Myrtle Beach!

We had a very nice time. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we love that there was a hot tub and heated pools! We also had a very nice dinner at Martin's!

We've stayed at Long Bay the past 3 years and have been happy overall. The rooms are clean and our kids love the kiddie pool area. We always stay oceanfront, and this year we were treated to seeing not one but TWO separate pods of dolphins playing just out past the breakers from our balcony. It was truly a magical experience.

We stayed here 2 years in a row and we love it! The only complaint I have, are the stairs going to our room. Other than that, there are none. We will stay there the next time we visit Myrtle Beach. The staff is great. See you next year!

We got married at the Long Bay in 2002. We have gone back a few times since and enjoyed everything. Everyone is nice. We decided to stay 3 extra nights and the staff made it work.

Great family crowd. Lots to do at MB - just needed more $$$ to do everything we wanted to do...

Reasonable rates. Service was avg. Oceanfront condo was in fair condition but needed a deep cleaning. Shower water too scalding and not able to adjust. Location is desirable.

Our room was great other than the location of our room. And having to leave earlier than planned the hotel gave us a partial refund. We love it there!

Although the weather was cold, the pool & lazy river were bathwater warm. The sauna was great. Our room was clean and very nice. Hotel staff were very helpful. Will come again.

This was our 1st time at Long Bay Resort and truthfully we were sorry we didn't go back to the Caravelle. The room layout was awkward and we didn't like our oceanfront really being pool front.

This hotel is friendliness and is very clean just needs to be updated in rooms and paint. but for the money it is a good stay.
