Myrtle Beach UFO Experience Opening April 4
When you look at all of those stars in the night sky and think about how many of them could be just like our sun, with planets just like in our solar system, do you wonder whether we’re totally alone? If you’ve been pondering this topic, we’ve got a great new attraction in Myrtle Beach where you can explore your extra-terrestrial side.
Encounters: UFO Experience will open at Broadway at the Beach April 4.
"For the first time ever, people will experience (a) comprehensive look at alien encounters all in one place," said Brian Bouquet of The Event Agency, the company responsible for developing the exhibition, which will be housed in the space previously occupied by Bodies Revealed.
This summer in Myrtle Beach, Encounters is the place to explore the history of alien encounters, extra-terrestrials in pop culture and theories about the military-alien connection. Learn about the infamous Area 51 and Roswell sightings, plus check out replicas of props from the classic ‘80s alien movie, E.T., as well as other popular alien flicks. The attraction will include more than 200 artifacts, seven galleries, models, film clips and an interactive alien abduction experience.
In April and May, the attraction will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays and Thursdays and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Starting in June, hours will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Regular admission will be $14 for adult, $12 for students, $10 for children 4-12 and free for kids three and younger. But if you buy early, you can save. All advance tickets are $10 online or over the phone through April 3.
