Kokopelli is committed to helping others connect with the natural beauty of the Grand Strand and the awesome power of the Atlantic Ocean. Offering three-day surf camps at various beaches along the Grand Strand as well as private and group instruction, Kokopelli boasts the bold guarantee that you will catch a wave on the first lesson. Providing step-by-step instruction by veteran surfers who join you out on the waves, Kokopelli will get you up on the board and likely turn you on to a lifelong hobby.

The three-day camps travel up and down the Grand Strand, including Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Cherry Grove, Ocean Drive, Crescent Beach, Windy Hill, Arcadian Shores and the south end of Myrtle Beach. For private lessons, instructors will travel to you for 1 1/2-hour sessions. No need to buy your own board to test-drive this new sport; Kokopelli provides board rentals and all the gear you need to get started.

Groups can book a 2-hour paddle-out surf party with experienced local guides, including brothers and champion pro surfers Wyatt and Brandon Todd. All instructors are CPR-certified and trained to teach first-timers how to hang 10. They also possess local knowledge of the hottest spots to surf and when weather conditions will allow you to catch the perfect wave.

Kokopelli offers more than surfing, including stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking lessons, tours and rentals. Spend a relaxing day on the water with friends and family while expert guides take you on a tour of the natural beauty of the South Carolina coast. Visit Waites and Hog Islands for shelling and chilling on uninhabited barrier islands, silently paddle through a salt marsh ecosystem and watch nature at work, or take a sunrise or sunset for the perfect start or finish to a fun a day on the water.
