Who doesn’t love to bring their four-legged best friends on vacation? Myrtle Beach has several dog parks and they are located throughout the Grand Strand. There are locations along the waterfront, throughout parks and even special events that invite you to bring along your dogs.
The dog parks in the Grand Strand have fenced in areas that have a smaller space for the smaller dogs and a more wide open space for our bigger dogs. One park that is located near the Market Commons Area even has a lake of its own just for the dogs to cool off and play. There are also shade structures for their owners to relax and stay cool.
Want to take your best friend shoping, they are welcome on a leash to stroll about Barefoot Landing. This area offers shopping, dining, and entertainment in a natural atmosphere. Several restaurants encourage patrons to dine with their pets in outside seating areas. And don't forget to visit the Bone Appetit Pet Bakery for some fresh home-made treats.
On the North-end check out Vereen Park that offers several different nature trails and a boardwalk over the waterway, Vereen Memorial Park and Gardens is a great place to bring your 4-legged friend.
How about taking your pup to the Atlantic Ocean on board the private captained Daysailing charters of the 27' Catalina. Offshore sailing, waterway cruising, dolphin watching excursions, eco-friendly eco-tours, sunset dinner cruises, and murder mystery parties. Well-behaved pets welcome.
