A Guide to Brookgreen Gardens’ Nights of a Thousand Candles
Brookgreen Gardens’ annual Nights of a Thousand Candles is always the most anticipated event of the off-season, and for good reason – this event provides breathtaking views to visitors as they make their way through the sculpture gardens illuminated by thousands of hand-lit candles and lights.
If you’ve never been to Nights of a Thousand Candles before, you’re in for a treat! Check out this guide to Nights of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens:
Nights of a Thousand Candles will be held on Thursday – Sunday from December 6-22, 2018. The gardens will open at 3 p.m. and close at 10 p.m. each night. Guests can also enjoy a holiday tree lighting each night of the event at 6:15 p.m.
Those visiting Nights of a Thousand Candles will get to enjoy a variety of entertainment in addition to the beautifully illuminated gardens. In addition to bands and holiday performances at the two entertainment tents, bagpipers Peggy and Mark Gaudreau will be playing and strolling throughout the event each night. The two entertainment tents are the Hammocks Shops Village Entertainment Tent, which is located near the Pegasus statue, and the Tidelands Health Enterainment Tent, which is located in the Arboretum.
Food & Drink
Food and beverages will be available from 3:30 – 9 p.m. during each night of the event. Dining will be catered by Inlet Affairs.

You must purchase your tickets beforehand as space is limited for each night. Tickets are non-refundable but may be exchanged by calling 1-888-718-4253 by 3 p.m. the day before the date of your ticket.
•Members: $20 for adults; $12 for children
•Non-Members: $25 for adults; $15 for children
Special rates are available for groups of 15 or more.
