Fun Fall Festivals Around Myrtle Beach for 2016
If you've never visited Myrtle Beach in the fall, you're missing out on some great events. Year after year, festival goers are faced with the same problem – how many different festivals can we squeeze in at the same time? From tasty food-oriented fests to arts and crafts gatherings, you're sure to find an event to visit along the Grand Strand. Here are some of our favorite events held in the fall in Myrtle Beach.

6th Annual Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine & Spirits Festival
The Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine and Spirits Festival will be held at Broadway at the Beach in the lot near Pavilion Park Central. Three main events will be held at Broadway at the Beach and include a moonshine night, craft brews and the Grand Tasting Tent with wines from around the world. Tickets are on sale now. This event will take place on Friday, September 2, Saturday, September 3, and Sunday, September 4, 2016.

La Belle Amie Dog Days Blues & Jazz Fest
Do you love blues, jazz, and wine? Then La Belle Amie Dog Days Blues & Jazz Fest is the perfect event for you! On Saturday, September 10, 2016, head on over to La Belle Amie Vineyard for a day full of music and fun. This event will take place from 12:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. and is $8 for people ages 18 and up. If you bring two canned or dry goods to the event, you can get $3 off admission. Enjoy live music while sipping on wine and wine slushies, as well as indulging in delicious food.

SOS Fall Migration 2016
Shaggers, rejoice! The SOS Fall Migration is from September 16-25, 2016 in North Myrtle Beach. The SOS lounges in the area host dancing, parties, workshops, live music, and more. Of course, shagging hotspots include Ducks, Ducks II, Pirate's Cove, Fat Harold's, and the OD Arcade. All kinds of fun shagging festivities will take place, including block parties on the first Sunday and Monday of the big event.

Aynor Harvest Hoe-Down
Join the town of Aynor for their annual Harvest Hoe-Down festival. Taking place on September 17, 2016, this event features family fun including live entertainment, children's activities, vendors, street dancers, a parade, and more. Of course, there will be tons of delicious food here, including chicken bog, funnel cakes, and other festival favorites.
Don't miss the Aynor Harvest Hoe-Down Beauty Pageant on September 10th! Contestants range in age from babies to 19 years old, and the winners receive a sash, trophy, and crown.

St. John's Greek Festival
The annual St. John's Greek Festival is back this year, taking place from Thursday, September 29 until Sunday, October 2, 2016. Hosted at the St. John's the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, the Greek Festival features live music, Greek dancing, vendors, and, of course, tons of tasty Greek food! The festival begins at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and at noon on Sunday.

Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art
The Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Art is the ultimate festival for art, music, dance, food, wine, and fun. The 26th annual Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Art will take place from September 24-October 15, 2016, with tons of great events.

Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival
The annual Atalaya Arts and Crafts Festival will be held in the Atalaya Castle at Huntington Beach State Park starting Friday, September 23, 2016. The festival features unique arts and crafts from over 100 artisans. This event will also feature entertainment and food for attendees to enjoy. The admission for adults is $8, and all people ages 15 and younger will receive free admission. Park Passport Plus holders get free festival admission and can bring up to three guests. Multi-day passes are available for $10.
The festival will take place from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, September 23; from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 24; and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2016.

Myrtle Beach Bike Week Fall Rally
Rev up your engines for the 2016 Myrtle Beach Bike Week Fall Rally! This huge event will take place from September 26 to October 2, 2016. Thousands of bikers flock to Myrtle Beach each year to participate in rides and biker-centric events at popular venues such as The Beaver Bar, Myrtle Beach Harley-Davidson, The Harley Shop at the Beach, Jamin' Leather, Plantation Pancake House, and many other restaurants and bars along the Grand Strand.

Irish Italian Festival
The 13th annual Irish Italian Festival will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in North Myrtle Beach. This free event features live music along Main Street, tons of food vendors, arts, crafts, children's activities, a spaghetti eating contest, and much more.

Oktoberfest at The Market Common
Celebrate beer, fun, and the month of October at the 9th annual Oktoberfest celebration at The Market Common. This free event is family-friendly and features tons of German beer for the adults, as well as German food, live entertainment, face painting, pumpking decorating, vendors, inflatables, and much more for the whole family to enjoy.
The 9th annual Oktoberfest will be held from 4-9 p.m. Friday, October 14 and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, October 15 in Valor Park at The Market Common.

Brookgreen Gardens Harvest Home Weekend Festival
Head over to Brookgreen Gardens on Saturday, October 1 and Sunday, October 2, 2016 for their annual Harvest Home Weekend Festival. From 9:30-4:30 p.m. each day, guests at this festival will enjoy scarecrow building, hay rides, wool spinning, pumpkin painting, and a special excursion on the creek. There will also be a number of tents set up for demonstrations, book signings, and more. Guests will also find tons of activities in the Lowcountry Zoo, including live performances, snacks, sidewalk chalk activities, temporary tattoos, and much more!
Admission to this event is free with regular gardens admission. The creek excursion is an additional price.

City of Conway Fall Festival
Celebrate the fall at the City of Conway Fall Festival on October 1, 2016. From 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., guests will enjoy live music from
Carolina Midnight (10:30 a.m.); The Entertainers (1 p.m.) and Gerry the Great (1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.), as well as food vendors, arts & crafts, kids activities, a car show, and much more. Admission to the City of Conway Fall Festival is free.

Taste of the Town
Taste of the Town is back again this year! From 4-10 p.m. on October 18, 2016, foodies can head to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center to sample delicious treats from local restaurants. Those who want to attend this event can purchase tickets before the event or at the door.

Myrtle Beach Seafood Festival
Check out the first ever Myrtle Beach Seafood Festival on Saturday, October 15, 2016! This new event will be held from 11 a.m. unti 7 p.m. between 8th Avenue North and 9th Avenue North. This event will feature a variety of seafood vendors, as well as a beer and wine garden, kid-friendly activities, a cornhole tournament, and live beach music from Jim Quick and Coastline, and The Tams.

Little River ShrimpFest
Join the Little River Chamber of Commerce for the 12th annual Little River ShrimpFest. In addition to tons of fresh and delicious seafood from Little River, guests at this event will enjoy a variety of live music as well as family-friendly activities. There will even be a shrimp and grits cook-off! This year, the festival will be introducing a golf cart raffle to benefit Camp Chemo.

from 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, October 8 and from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Sunday, October 9 along the Little River Waterfront.

Lip Rippin' Chilympics Chili Cookoff
The annual Lip Rippin' Chilympics Chili Cookoff will be held at Hot Fish Club and Morse Park Landing in Murrells Inlet. Dozens of restaurants and chili recipe testers compete to be named the overall champ. Bring your own spoon and a hearty appetite!

Loris Bog-Off
2016 marks the 37th year for the annual Loris Bog-Off. This famous event consists of a chicken bog cook-off, as well as live music, a children's area, a car & tractor show, vendors, and much more. This event will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016 on Main Street in downtown Loris.

Georgetown Wooden Boat Show
Enjoy the Georgetown Wooden Boat Show on Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16, 2016. This event will feature a wooden boat exhibit as well as a boat building competition, kids' model boat-building and knot-tying, crafts, Kaminski house tours, live music, a beer garden, food court, and much more.
This event will take place from 11 a.m .to 6 p.m. Saturday, October 15 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 18 along Front Street in historic Georgetown. Admission is free.

Myrtle Beach Wine Fest
Wine enthusiasts can enjoy the 7th annual Myrtle Beach Wine Fest from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, October 17 in Valor Park at The Market Common. This event will feature more than 50 wines from around the world as well as specialty vendors and live entertainment. Admission is free. Guests sampling wine must purchase a wine glass for $5.

Celebrity Square Halloween Party
Celebrate Halloween at Broadway at the Beach at the Celebrity Square Halloween Bash and Costume Party! Dress up in your Halloween Best on Saturday, October 29, 2016. Keep your eyes peeled for more details and other Halloween festivities at Broadway at the Beach.

South Carolina State Bluegrass Festival
Enjoy a weekend full of bluegrass music at the South Carolina State Bluegrass Festival at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. This event is set to occur November 24, 25 & 26, 2016. Live music will be provided by bluegrass favorites such as Dailey & Vincent, The Spinney Brothers, The Grascals, Lonsesome River Band, Flatt Lonesome, The Little Roy & Lizzy Show, Big Country Bluegrass, and many other acts.
Ticket prices are $40 per day for adults for general admission and $20 per day for children ages 7 to 15 for general admission. Ticket packages and reserved seating are available. Parking is an additional $3.

Carolina Beach Music Awards
North Myrtle Beach is a mecca for beach music and shag dancing, so its no wonder that the Carolina Beach Music Awards occur here each year. Join the Alabama Theatre for the 22nd Carolina Beach Music Awards at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2016. Tickets to this event start at $40.95.

Dickens Christmas Show and Festival
Get in the holiday spirit at the Dickens Christmas Show and Festival. This annual event will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12, and 12-6 p.m. Sunday, November 13 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. The Dickens Christmas Show and Festival will feature tons of unique shopping and entertainment for the whole family. Tickets are $9.50 for adults and $4.50 for children ages 2 to 12 for a single day pass. Multiple day passes are available for $14. You can also purchase your tickets online for a $1 discount. Group discounts are available for 10 or more.
