Myrtle Beach is home to an array of hotels and resorts that see a huge amount of foot traffic each year. Time, along with the large number of vacationers who visit these Myrtle Beach properties, can often cause reason for property renovations. In addition, some hotels that have been open for a long time will go through renovations in order to spruce up their look.

Recently, some major Myrtle Beach hotels and resorts went through renovations to improve the overall experience for visitors. Check out this list to see what’s new at your favorite property:

Bay View Resort

Bay View Resort has made some changes to their Starbucks location to make it appear more modern.

The Breakers Resort Myrtle Beach

Visitors who have been to Myrtle Beach recently may have noticed a heavy amount of construction going on at Breakers Resort. This is because Breakers is renovating their registration building to give it a more modern feel.

Breakers will also be installing 5 new oceanfront waterslides to their pool area. These slides will be covered so that guests can have fun no matter what the weather is like outside. The slides are expected to be completed by the fall.

More renovations at Breakers include changes to the rooms, halls, and common areas in the Palms Tower. Changes include a new gift shop, modern business center, a renovated Kid’s Club Room, a new fitness center, and built in nightstand charging stations.

Caribbean Resort & Villas

The Caribbean Resort just added new pavers to their waterpark and gave the Silly Sub some new paint. They also gave the Tiki Hut a new roof and shades.

Compass Cove Resort

Compass Cove will be updating their LED lighting as well as adding a firepit at the Pinnacle entrance.

Dayton House Resort

Dayton House Resort recently made huge changes to the rooms in the South Building. Each room has received a new coat of paint, new mattresses, bathroom upgrades, and new tables, chairs, drapes, and artwork.

Long Bay Resort

Long Bay Resort is updating their LED lighting in parking garages and interior hallways.

North Beach Plantation
