Avista Resort

The hotel had everything I needed for a family of 6. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep. The pools were great, the convenience of having a kitchenette, cooking utensils, washer and dryer in the room and being so close to the beach. I loved the hotel and would definitely stay there again!

We have Ben enjoying Thanksgiving at Avista for several years. The rooms are always clean, the staff is great, and the hot tub is a welcomed place to make new friends.

I went a few years ago for Vday. I had them decorate the room and had breakfast in bed it was so nice

We've been to the Avista with family in a two bedroom oceanfront room. Just the two of us in a one bedroom oceanfront and a one bedroom ocean view. We have always had a great visit and met great people. Walking distance to Main Street is definitely a perk and the staff at Avista are wonderful. We were there right after a Hurricane and the staff never once showed that they had other issues of their own to deal with. Hoping to be back soon!

The Avista is in a great location for all shag dancing events. Just a short walk to all the clubs. The amenities at the Avista can't be beat!

The Avista Resort is A great place to stay in North Myrtle Beach South Carolina. If you want to spend lots of time with your family and friends on the beach you have plenty of space up and down the coast to do so. You will have plenty things to choose from to do while in North Myrtle Beach, you will have plenty places to shop, eat and enjoy yourself Also, it's about a 15 minute driver to North Carolina to some nice restaurants and shopping.

the staff was kind and helpful, the place was clean and comfortable. we loved the dvd's and the bar and lounge. we will be back in the fall, nicest place we have found in north myrtle.

The only bad thing I can say was it was over too soon. Great food, shopping, and we even rode the Skywheel! And of course the beach!!!

We have a disabled child. Avista provided a large room, a restaurant and ease of maneuvering around the resort for her wheelchair. The indoor pool was a perfect temperature for her to enjoy.

Have stayed here a few times and have never been disappointed. Great location near our favorite restaurants. Love the beach near the hotel and the entertainment around the pool.

We celebrate our anniversary in Myrtle Beach every year. This year year we will be celebrating our 28th! The weather,the sun and the sand, the shopping, and the unlimited places to eat makes Myrtle Beach the best location to have fun and relax. We look forward to our week stay every year. Last year we enjoyed a wine tasting at Duplin Winery and having our Anniversary dinner at the Brazilian steakhouse.We look forward to making new memories this year. My brother and his wife joined us last year and are joining us again this year. We had a great time!!!

I just love coming to north Myrtle beach,even when I’m near and getting close the smell of the air,the crispness of smelling ocean waters is absolutely amazing.and when I enter my room and look off my balcony,truly in a much needed place to admire.even more.so wonderful seems all ripples seem to just roll away. Such A wonderful feeling and place. Love it

Wonderful relaxing stay, stunning views, great accommodations, convenient to shopping, restaurants, music, activities. Enjoyed the updated décor and furnishings. One bedroom was perfect with Murphy bed and sleeper sofa for adults and two older teens. Look forward to coming again!

Spotsylvania Stayed here with my brother & his family. My mom & myself shared a room. There were 4 adults & 3 teenager/children. Had plenty of room. Very convenient for me & my mom to go to the resturant on site when the rest of the family was out. Also, went back a few months later with my husband & it was just as great! Would highly recommend this place.

If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in Myrtle Beach look no further! This place has it all from excellent service to gorgeous views and not to mention a Starbucks right on sight and the restaurant was excellent! I have stayed at a lot of places and this one by far is the best!!

We can't say enough about the Avista hotel. Everything was a perfect score. The comfort of the bed, the comfort of the room, the restaurant, the pools, the kitchen, the shower, the people, housekeeping, the in room washer and dryer, the view, and anything else you can imagine. My husband enjoyed going down to the ocean fishing 🎣 every morning. The shopping was awesome. I found so many great things to buy. We saw many sights and sounds. The gardens, the boat casino, the different flee markets, the aquarium and again anything you can imagine. Myrtle beach lets your imagination run wild. See you again next October!

This is our 6th or 7th time to stay at Acosta after trying several different locations. The staff has always provided excellent service and always are pleasant when you talk to them. We have stayed during all different times of the year with summertime being the busiest. The restaurant on the premises has a good selection and a nice breakfast buffet if you don't want to eat out. We have come to enjoy the North Myrtle Beach area, especially the shops and restaurants along Main St. that are within walking distance from Avista and most other attractions are an easy drive if you use highway 31. Checking in and out normally is a quick and easy process. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are great however, the outdoor pool can be crowded during the summer. Keep up the great work Avista!!

The Avista is our go-to accommodations every spring break! We love it there and enjoy their friendly staff, very clean rooms, indoor and outdoor heated pools, and ocean front rooms! It's always an awesome vacation at a an affordable rate.

Our room had an ocean view balcony. We had a separate bedroom with king size bed and bath, living room area and full kitchen facilities. Very quiet and enjoyable. Staff was very friendly.

The Avista is wonderful. I've been staying here for the last few years for vacations and each time it is better than the next. Everyone is so friendly and go way above to make sure everything is done right. The rooms are clean and spacious. The amenities are great. Would definitely recommend to family and friends .

It was a wonderful and relaxing stay! we got to bring my 85 year old grandma, which was amazing! my whole family came! I would love to do that again! This was the only time our whole family has been together in forever! The beaches were great! Our room was amazing!

My family has been vacationing with Avista Resort for several years now. We have tried other places here and there, but we always come back to Avista. The staff is very accommodating and the rooms are so quiet! It feels like a second home to us.

We rented a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo right on the beach for $750.00 for a week, 4 of us drove there from upstate NY the cheapest trip to myrtle beach I've ever taken. Condo was very nice and the weather was in the mid 70s this was the 1st of November

We recently had an amazing vacation at Myrtle Beach. This time it was my Mom, myself and my 3 kids ages 8, 6 and 4. We stayed at the Avista Resort for the first time and found it to be a nice place. We loved the beach area and my kids loved spending their days in the lazy river. We love the family atmosphere and traditions at Myrtle Beach! We come down all the way from New Jersey where we have our own beaches but we love our vacations to Myrtle! The kids favorite part of the trip is when they spot their forst palm tree! We love North Myrtle and the calm laid back atmosphere there. We enjoy walking to the town and amumement area! Another favorite is always Barefoot Landing. We have places we take pictures each trip such as the cow outside the ice cream shop there and it's amazing to see how big my kids have gotten. Of course we always have a great time at Broadway at the Beach!! We love to stroll around and go to dinner! We have enjoyed the Ripleys aquarium so many times!! I really enjoyed the wax museum also! We also have done the Pirate's voyage dinner theatre show and found it amazing! There are just so many things to do as a family and so many memories to be made. The kids look forward to every trip. The staff was very pleasant, the girls at the desk knew what they were doing very sufficient and kind, the rooms were clean and everything in place, the pool was clean and the surroundings, the music or DJ or band by the pool was great.

Our family had a great experience at the Avista Resort in North Myrtle Beach! Our room was very clean with one of the best oceanfront views I have ever seen! The layout of the room was perfect and it was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. I loved the DVD kiosk in the lobby, that was nice! There are only a few things that I feel they could improve on and they are minor. First thing is that they didn't have any instructions on how to use the washer/dryer that was in the room, so it was a bit confusing. Second, the remote controls to the main TV did not work even after I purchased and installed new batteries. Third, The couch we had was very uncomfortable and outdated. Other than those minor things, our stay was amazing!!

Our stay at the Avista Resort was very nice. Our room was beautiful and clean. The staff at the Avista was very helpful and friendly. We would have liked more on site restaurant options, but the bar was very nice. Pool bar was also nice and we had a wonderful bartender named Kat who was so kind and fun.

Avista Resort was very clean, staff helpful. We had a beautiful view of the beach. The room was comfortable. We had a great time and will stay there again and again.

It was nice. Lots of elevator rides, but nice. Not too far from everything, and parking not bad either.

Loved my 4th floor 2 bedroom suite. All the staff I talked to was very nice and friendly. Had to have toilet seat replaced and they had it fixed in no time. Also some of the lights went out when the balcony light was turned on and again they sent someone to fix it in no time. All I can say is I wish I was there now.

The Avista is a nice hotel with a lazy rivers and pools. We had an exceptional experience with the front desk and Angela. She made sure that we had everything we needed and was extremely helpful. Myrtle Beach has loads of places to eat and tons of things to do! Beach is beautiful and relaxing!

This was my 2nd stay @ Avista and possibly planning for their New Year Eve's package. All employees were very polite & helpful. I enjoyed my stay & will recommend in the future.

It was really grea execpt for a few things. the carpet in the elevator was sower and had an odor.

Avista Resort in North Myrtle Beach looked nice and clean but, it hides a secret that they don’t tell you. The air conditioning system has motion sensor. If it doesn’t detect movement in the bedroom or living space it will turn off. If you open the siding glass door to the balcony it will turn off. Our room took 4 hours to cool down to 70 degrees in June after we returned from dinner. We didn’t sleep very good. We didn’t get compensated for that night.

We came down for a short weekend and a bachelorette party. We had a nice room with plenty of space for about 6 girls. The weather was a little rainy, but you make the best of everything. We went out both night we were there and had a great time.
