Bay View Resort

Me and my husband have been going to Myrtle Beach for years now. The first place we ever stayed was the Bay View Resort and that was a long time before the Boardwalk ever happened. That the only place we have ever stayed and the only place we will ever stay. Love it so much try to go back every year. The people are very friendly and we have a great time there. Would not stay any where else. Thanks to everyone there for a great time when we can make it there.

We were very please with the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. The facility's pool, hot tub, access to the beach and boardwalk~amazing! Couldn't ask for a better location to stay and play!

Me and my family stayed at the Bayview an had a awsome time. It was the first time I had been down south. We toured many attractions including the upside down house which was amazing. The hotel staff was friendly and I had never seen a lazy river in a hotel before. I would definitely like to go back.

Bay View is a really great hotel. It was reasonably priced with lots to offer. Great views, clean room. What more could you ask for?

Stayed here several times. Great stay New Year Eve 2018. Cold outside but the pool room was warm . Lazy river, pool and hot tub were all inside.

We booked this hotel on line for a double room thru Groupon. When we got there, they uograded us to an oceanfront one bedroom suite. The suite was beautiful and roomy. The boardwalk runs right behind this hotel with easy access up and down the boardwalk to all the local shopping, dining and music. Great place to stay!!

Bay view has excellent amenities (indoor pool, workout facilities,and of course the in-house Starbucks etc) I love the location and the staff is very friendly

Love to stay at Bay View when coming up to the Country Music festival. Short walk to the festival at night. Right on the beach and have the option to swim in the ocean while laying on the beach, but also to lay out by the pool and swim out of the sun. Been coming up from Charleston the last couple of years and gives the wife and I some time to enjoy time to our self.

THE STAY AT BAY VIEW WAS EXCELLENT. THE HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND OFFERED TO UPGRADE AND MOVE US TO A DIFFERENT ROOM WITH NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE BECAUSE THE ROOM THAT I HAD ORIGINALLY BOOKED WAS NOT READY. THE ROOM THAT WE WERE UPGRADED TO WAS A SUITE THAT HAD SO MUCH ROOM IN IT AND INCLUDED A WASHER AND DRYER, WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH OUR UPGRADE. AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF IT WAS AN OCEAN FRONT VIEW ROOM WITH PRIVATE BALCONY. WE WILL DIFFIDENTLY STAY HERE AGAIN!!!

Our family has stayed at Bayview for our annual beach vacation for years. We have always had a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this resort to anyone planning a trip to Mettle Beach

This is a great resort right on the beach. Indoor pool/hot tubs, bowling alley, etc. we all had a great time, will be back.

I have stayed at Bay View Resort numerous times, and the rooms are very nice, staff is courteous and pleasant. Love the fact they have a Starbucks onsite.

We always stay at the Bay View Resort when in Myrtle Beach. We find it is Everything we need and want in a vacation. It is close to everything. It has everything we need at this resort, including Starbucks and the nicest staff you could ever want at a resort.

We stayed here prior to this incident and enjoyed it. But did particular visit the was a misunderstanding regarding our room. The manager took care of the situation by upgrading us to the Penthouse. He went above and beyond and made our vacation, with our friends,one to definitely remember.

We stayed at The Bay View for our first time to Myrtle Beach. Was great and in the right spot. Our room was awesome. Love waking up at sunrise and walking right out on the beach.

Our vacations have started over 40 years ago in Myrtle Beach and is still our favorite place to go. The best motel we have stayed is the Bay View on the boardwalk. We own at Wyndham and we thought they had the best until we stayed at Bay View. So after more than 40 years or so we are still traveling down there and our travelers have changed over the years but the Great Vacations are still going on. We are blessed to still be able to travel with our family. Vacations are blessings for our whole family.

We had stayed at this resort prior to this incident. There was misunderstanding on the room we were renting and the manager upgraded our room to the Penthouse. He went above and beyond to make this vacation memorable with our friends.

This is my favorite beach. I love the boardwalk. I love how just about all you need is within walking distance.

We stayed 2 different years at the Bayview. We really like the location and the amenities in the condo. Since we stay over Christmas it's really nice to have an indoor pool, especially when my grandson is with us. I like to cycle and run and this location is easy to do both. Stay here, you won't be disappointed!

As our family entered the lobby, we felt welcome. The staff members greeted us with warm smiles and a great hello. The room was clean and manageable. Our only concern was the front room stayed cold and there was not a way to turn down the air. The trip overall was very nice.

WE spent our winter at Bay View and loved it. It's kept very clean and very secure. There are a few dismal sides to staying here though. The parking garage is across the street behind other small motels on the next. For a handicapped person this does present a problem. There is a city parking lot beside Bay View, but be careful parking there. My car got pelted with big stones parked there in handicapped parking., The other downside is no restaurant nor lounge for the older guests to enjoy. For the most part, all of the employees are courteous and respectful. Bay View is a great place for a vacation, especially if you have children.

Bayview is a great hotel located on the beach with easy access to the boardwalk. It's nice to sit out on the balcony overlooking the ocean and watching people go by and having a pool and games inside the hotel when you just want to relax inside and I liked that we had a kitchen to cook in which saved us money

Myrtle Beach We really loved our stay in Myrtle Beach! The Bay View resort was nice, staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the view incredible. The sun, warm weather, the sand, so many things to do and great restaurants all impressed us so much, we moved here. We love Myrtle Beach!

IT's been several years since we stayed here, but in 2010 I retired and treated my family to a trip to Myrtle Beach. I have been bavk every year since and a few years before 2010. The accommodations nott only met, but exceeded our expectations. Rooms were clean and staff friendly. And the view....nothing beats an ocean front view. Will continue to vacation MB as long as I'm able.

Bayview is my "go to" hotel. Property is well maintained and staff are wonderful.

The ocean view room was great. Loved the view and the room was affordable. Also loved the lazy river they have downstairs indoors! After i checked out there was a little trouble trying to get my deposit back but after a few conversations with the hotel manager, it was resolved.. Overall great experience with my son on our first real vacation together in several years!!!

Whenever I get a chance to travel I love Myrtle Beach beautiful lots of things to do love to go back whenever possible five stars

My co-worker/friend decided we needed a getaway in September. I began checking hotels with their amenities & found Bay View on the Boardwalk to be the best choice. Boy was I correct! We flew in for the weekend on Friday early & we were staying until Monday morning! We arrived at the hotel hours before check-in so they allowed us to change & store our bags in a locked room so we could enjoy daytime on the beach while waiting for our room to be prepared. They took my phone number & said they would notify me when it was available...to our surprise it was ready just after noon!! We also loved the fact that we didn't rent a car & we were able to walk to most everything we wanted to do! The people at the resort were very friendly & helpful! We also received free Starbucks coupons for each day of our stay for pastry & drink for free! (By the way it is in the building!) We had such a great time...even when we couldn't get the safe in the room to work they quickly had someone right there to correct it for us! Everything was very comfortable & very clean! We will definitely stay here again when we need our next getaway!

Any hotel/condo can be clean, upgraded or have great amenities. It can all be ruined by experiencing bad customer service. This property has great customer service. You experience it from the time you arrive until you leave. I stay about once a month and have never been disappointed! It’s a great place to stay!!!

Bay View on the Boardwalk is an excellent place to stay in Myrtle Beach. We have stayed at this resort six times. The location of the resort is awesome. The condos are like staying at home. The staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay at this resort.

Love staying here. Great, helpful staff. Nice, clean condos. Quiet. Don't like walking to parking deck. Don't like sometimes slow elevators. I do hate (which hotel has no control over) all the dogs, bikes, skateboards, and beggars on the promenade and boardwalk no matter what time of day. Can get rather dangerous walking along the area.

I love staying at the Bay View. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are so clean and neat. They offer great deals of many local area attractions and Starbucks. They are located on the boardwalk/promenade and it is an easy walk to many eateries and fun places.

We loved the condo,It had enough space for 7 adults to stay comfortably for 8days. It had beautiful views of the ocean which was my fathers one main request, he had to have a ocean view.

I recently visited Myrtle Beach. I did not get to stay in our usual choice Bayview. I went and visited and elderly relative who lives in N. Myrtle who is in assisted living recovering from a fall. I did get to enjoy some great food, ate at my favorite Japanese restaurant there Miyobi and shopped the Tanger Outlets.

I come down every year for the Bowery Christmas party and found the Bayview so I try ed it and loved it staff is great and front desk always give the best rates great place to stay will be back in December can't wait

PORTSMOUTHI would recommend this place and I would definitely stay here again! I booked over the phone the representative was very nice and full of information. The hotel has an App for fast check-in and I received multiple emails before our stay. I booked the “Ocean view suite” on the 18th floor suite was clean, modern, spacious, equip with everything you’ll need and to my surprise it had a washer and dryer. Staff was very friendly and helpful, we also had trash taken out and fresh towels every day. It was great to have free DVD rentals available to us while staying here for the end of the day to relax in bed with the kid’s. I would see staff all day and everyday cleaning the hotel main areas and pool attendant always there. Organizing the pool chairs, tables, towels, etc. Location is great right on the beach and near restaurants, stores, etc. The hotel prices were very affordable for everything it has to offer. Overall, we had a great experience and will come back here again!

My sisters always go to Florida and I go to Myrtle Beach,so this year in July talked all five of them to take Myrtle Beach.So the six of us for the first time took a vacation together.Well you can bet we will be back soon.Love that you really never worry about six women walking everywhere.

I stayed here in March 2014. I had an Ocean View suite. I loved it! I had a corner suite so it had 2 balconies, one on the street side and one with a good view up the beach and Boardwalk. I could just sit there for hours. It has a full kitchen, so you can save on eating out by bringing your own groceries. It's so close to the beach, you can walk there in a minute. The hotel is clean and inviting. You get free parking in a garage across Ocean Boulevard. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Bayview for Octoberfest 2013. I was so impressed with the cleanliness and updates at the resort. Most resorts right on the strip are dated and in need of repairs. The 2 BR condo we stayed in at Bayview had granite countertops, updated furniture, and 2 balconies. The Starbucks downstairs is a great amenity, and you can't beat the location - you can walk to th piers, Family Kingdom, and the pavilion shops and entertainment. Will definitely stay here again!

Omg we have been there 3 other times stayed at 3 different hotels this was by far the best hotel. Very clean,comfortable nice sweet employees pools were clean and awesome. We will deffiently stay again luv u all.

We loved everything about Bay View Resort and plan on spending our entire vacation there next summer. This stay, unfortunately, we couldn't spend the whole week at Bay View due to budget. (We were in an accident on the way that involved 30 other vehicles and a truck driver's junk that fell off his trailer) We split it up between the Sea Crest, which was also nice, but nothing like the Bay View. We loved the modern kitchen and the fact that there was a washer and dryer in the unit. The room was spotless, and I am OCD. Perfect! Wouldn't change a thing! And the staff was very friendly. Would recommend to everyone.

We stayed in a 2 BDR Oceanfront Condo. Was given unit 306. Wasn't extremely fancy but perfect view of Ocean and Boardwalk. Only had a few minor issues and staff had these issues resolved within 10 minutes. Property was clean and not Noisy...we felt like we were in hotel alone unless we went down to pool area. Location and Price will probably take us back to Bay View again next year. Have looked at other properties...but Bay View will be hard to beat.

We had a lovely time, althought the hotel was doing some renovations is was quite peaceful enjoyed the breakfast bar and the out door pool, enjoyed the amusement park in murtle beach the most.

Our entire stay was wonderful ! ALL of the employees at Bay View were always smiling, helpful and just great people ! That can make or break your vacation, in my opinion. Our rooms were spotless, and very comfortable.

This was the last vacation that my family has taken. My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The last time was a great time. The family had a great time, everyone was kind and friendly and I would love to go again. Myrtle Beach is our favorite place and we have friends there. I would love to stay there again.

Bay View is a really great centrally located hotel. It was reasonably priced with lots to offer. Great views, clean room. What more could you ask for?

We have stayed at the Bayview several times in the past 5 years. We always have a good experience when staying here. The rooms are clean and cozy. It could use some updating, the mattresses could be a little more comfortable and it would be wonderful to have an outdoor pool, I am not a fan of the pool area but the views in the ocean front rooms with the balcony make up for that. Its a great place when you are on a budget, the prices are very affordable.

I would say it was not as represented. Needed tlc in the room in bathroom as regards peeling paint. But it was also a bigger unit than expected.

We stayed here from mid November 2017 to mid April 2018. We are winter, Northern Snowbirds. We have stayed at several resorts over the years beginning when our children were young. We now winter in Myrtle Beach since we are retired. Bay View is right on the boardwalk making it very convenient to most attractions, restaurants and such. Bay View is one of the safest resorts on the Grand Strand. The only problem we found here is our car got pelted with beer cans and the odor of marijuana permeates the hallways and rooms during holidays and spring breaks. There is no restaurant on premises, but there is a Starbucks. Nice resort for families with younger children.

Bay View on the Boardwalk is a nice place to stay! Oceanfront, pools, hot tub, Starbucks, and great customer service. I went by myself but I would say it is for singles, couples, or families. I particularly liked that it was right on the Boardwalk and I could go out and walk/exercise every morning. The only issue I would say would be the elevators. Sometimes one wasn't working or if you're on the 19th floor like I was then it can take a while. Can you just imagine that oceanfront view I had from the 19th floor though! Definitely would stay again and don't let the elevator issue ruin this for you. Totally worth it!

We had a wonderful time in Myrtle Beach. The Bay View was clean and the staff was helpful. The only reason for four stars instead of five is because the pool room doors were opened every time we went into the pool. It was January! We were there to dip in the pool, but it would get so cold in there. The last time we visited the pool, we closed the doors ourselves. It didn't help much since they cooled the room off already.

We love the Bay View for it's location, it's amenities and awesome staff.

We stayed here using a stay 3 get one free special. It's a nice resort and a convenient location on the boardwalk. You can literally walk out the back to the beach. Right across from the resort are restaurants. There's a wading pool inside and exercise room. The rooms were neat and clean and spacious. The only downsides were non early check in. We arrived a few hours early, but had to go eat and come back in a few hours. They did allow to leave our luggage in a secure office. During check in and out the elevators are super slow and crowded. Check in and out was easy. They offer lots of discounts and options.

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Bay View. Stayed 3 nights in an ocean front room on the 8th floor. The room was very nice. Loved having a Balcony over the ocean.

This was the first time we stayed at Bay View. I picked it because of its location on the Boardwalk. It was a nice clean room. The service was very good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

A great place to stay for our family to stay. With four bedrooms and each with it's own ocean view balcony everyone can spend time together and also have quality individual down time. The staff/people throughout the town are friendly and excellent customer service. So, many various activities to do the family does not get bored. Numerous restaurants in all types of styles to chose from within walking distance.

We had a wonderful time at this resort. The beach is gorgeous, and so are the pools!

My son and I stayed here last year in August for three days. I received the two day get one free special. The resort is right on the beach and in a good location, close to restaurants and the attractions. Just a short ride from other sites like the aquarium and Ripleys. The only negative was not being able to check in early since we arrived about 11:30 from out of state, we weren't able to check in until about 2ish. Luckily we were able to go across the street to eat and walk the strip until it was ready, and they held out luggage in the hotel for us. Otherwise I really enjoyed our stay. Even though I didn't get a room facing the ocean, my view was still good and close. The inside small water park was nice. Only downside was the extremely slow elevator wait times...jeeezus..especially around check out and in times. The rooms were spacious enough for my son and I and clean. And they come with a fridge. Next time I'd probably get a suite, but if you only plan to sleep in the room it was fine. I was thoroughly impressed with the resort after just reading the reviews on the website. Check out was easy and the staff was pleasant. They offered free movies also. And there's a Starbucks in the lobby, if that's your cup of tea. I'll definitely be going back again.

The property was clean and staff was nice. For it to be the off season it was really busy check in time took a little time. Coffee shop served decent coffee and they have a buffet it looked good but i didnt try it.

My sister has been staying a Bay View for the last 7 years. Each year I spend my vacation with her at the Bay View Resort. My sister know the in and out of this hotel. I got to meet the staff. Everyone was polite, friendly, and accommodate our needs. We stayed on the sixth floor. It was so nice to sit out on the porch and see the ocean, the people walking around the property and admire the landscaping that was previously done. We did shopping at antique stores, went to the movies; and dining.

Other than heavy foot traffic when checking in it was wonderful.I really enjoyed the balcony!.,Because of medical situation I cannot get wet so I just love the view.._

Hotel was great, clean, beautiful 2 bedroom suite, but Parking was horrible. I had to park my car across the street, up half a block in a parking garage. I found it to be very unsafe for woman traveling along. The pool area needs to be cleaned better and kept up

We had a wonderful time. Unfortunately the elevators were really slow .

The room and service and location was great but they dont have an outside pool and the elevators are extremely slow.

We have a wonderful time when we bring the entire family to the beach. The only reason they didn't receive 5 stars is because the elevators are very slow and they won't guarantee what floor and which side of the building when you request them. We travel with an elderly grandparent and need to stay on one of the lower floor. Other than that we love it. We have stayed with them every summer since they opened.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Had an oceanfront room....beautiful view! Kept up very good.

BayView was great! The staff were friendly and the suite very nice, clean and accommodating. The children loved the indoor pool and lazy river. The only downfall was it was beach week and there was a lot of activity late at night and waits for elevators were long.

Myrtle beach is an awesome place my family loves it all the people are friendly and its a very clean family place to vacation

We stayed at The Bay View Resort!!!!! And it was amazing the rooms were awesome and clean and it has the best pool area and there is a starbucks at the bottom of the resort and it has bout 18 floors and the room we stayed in has an ocean view and it was beautiful and the resort is really close to the beach like if you walk out of the pool area and then there you are at the beach and it has a gym for anyone who wants to workout while they are there and everything is nice and clean and everyone there is very nice and kind and while you are there their will be no problem and in all the rooms there is a balcany and its just an amazing view of the ocean!!!!! The next time any of you go to MB stay at The Bay View Resort and you will see how amazing it is!!!!!

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The facilities were beautiful and we of course took in some of the local sites... especially enjoying the Opry and the Ripley's Aquarium. We went to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary and I can't wait to come back. The beaches are pristine and beautiful and everyone was so welcoming. Definitely a place to return to.

Nice rooms , always waiting for elevator , out of order or cleaning during peek times , water park needs updated , not what it shows online

Great to be at the beat and the units were pretty good. The check in process was just awful. The facilities, elevators in particular were not good at all. The elevators barely worked. The hallways were filty and there were really no ammenties. The pool was awful and basically unusable. I really liked the unit but would not stay there again because I was really put off by the staff at check in and the lack of a decent pool. The stars are as high as they are for the room and location.

This hotel is close to everything as you can tell by its name. It’s on the Boardwalk. There is so much you can walk to. Also, you can take a stroll in the other direction on the boardwalk where it is more of a garden setting.

We did have a very nice time, there were a few things in the pool area and check in that were a little inconvenient but all in all our stay was exactly what we needed.

Its was wonderful, nice customer service. Plenty of entertainment. Had a blast

We stayed for two nights and the room was pretty spacious. It came with a kitchenette so we purchased food from Walmart. It had everything I needed to cook a full breakfast and lunch. For the most part it was clean. We did see a roach and we also had to call maintenance to fix one of the patio doors because it wouldn't lock and my mother in law was afraid my 3 year old would get onto the balcony. I feel it's a great deal for the price because I paid around $400 for a two night stay there and now I just payed $300 for a two night stay at a super motel 8 for this weekend_

The room was nice. The elevators and it's area could use some renovations

It was a relaxing stay. They were doing construction on the boardwalk and building an additional elevator so it was a little noisy.

The first night we had ridiculous noise issues from a nearby room and after several complaints they sent security up. The next day we were moved to a different room and had no further noise issues. The rooms were very clean and the oceanfront view was great. I would return on a less busy weekend.

Nice hotel but it needs a outdoor pool and dining.

The hotel was nice, but i was disappointed in the access to the beach. I have a son in a wheelchair, and was told that there was only about 4 steps, which is not true. The boardwalk is great, but it is very hard for my son to go out on the beach since there was no ramp nor beach path at this hotel. Therefore, we probably won't be staying here again.

Not to clean, the downstairs door was broke you had to put a rock in it when you left and hopefully nobody removed it, also the parking sucked. The restaurant had good food but was pricey, there water park us really small, if it weren't for the free tickets included to the amusenent park and the bigger water park it would have been real bad.

SPRING HILL I like the beach bur rhe hotel was not what i expected the picture were deceiving it was as if i have gone to a different place all toghether. nice people but not what it seems in pictures

Hotel elevators were under construction-very busy week with only 2 elevators and dozens of floors, Check in area only hold 3 cars and the hotel called everyone who tried to check in early at 3:00 so after 4 times around the block we finally were able to pull up to check in. Room service was spotty. We had to ask for service after the second day. After being there 4 days we looked in the coffee pot(we had not used it) and it was dirty-still had grinds in it from previous guest. There are too many other places to choose from and would not stay here again.

It needs updates and better room service
