Captain’s Quarters Resort

Took my 3 little kids and they loved the kiddie pool! My teenage daughter took her little brother upstairs to the bowling and they had a ball. Everything was clean, staff was pleasant, and check in was quick. This was our mist favorite place to stay. Can't wait to stay again very soon

Captains Quarters is a wonderful place to stay. My family enjoyed the bowling alley! we stayed there several times over the years

This is a fun place to stay. If you don't want to go out anywhere, there is a bowling alley in the hotel that you can take advantage of. They also have places to eat or get a drink if you want to as well. The hotel is right on the beach and they have nice pools and water features.

Knowing that we can have a great time bowling and playing the games in the arcade when the weather doesn't permit outdoor fun is another reason we love the Captain's Quarters. Kudos to Quan and the other staff at CQ for always helping our family make great memories of our Myrtle Beach time!

I've stayed at this hotel many of times. They have all you could want in this hotel, they have so many pools, inside and out, they have a bowling alley and a restaurant. There rooms are always in clean, they never disappoint. So if your looking for a class A hotel with all the amenities , look no farther than Captain's Quarters. You will not be disappointed...

I've stayed at this hotel many times and it had been awesome every time. They have polls on the outside, and polls on the inside,,, there is a bowling alley also,, i think they may have a restaurant also,. They're rooms are always clean, i've never been disappointed,.

My husband and I stayed at captain's quarters for our honeymoon. The staff was friendly and we had a nice oceanfront suite. We had a problem with the safe in the room when we got there. The maintenance guy fixed it right away. We loved the entertainment level in the hotel and the breakfast buffet was very good too. We will definitely stay there again.

This place has all the immunities a family could want in a place to stay at the beach. Unfriendly and helpful staff indoor pool so winter trip is fun.

We enjoyed visiting the Captain's Quarters many times while our children were small. The amenities were great and a family atmosphere was present. The rooms were clean and the staff provided great service. It's a place you hold in your lasting memories. Now we can enjoy with our grandchildren. The memories never end.

Love staying at Captain's Quarters Resort with all it had to offer. The lazy river was very relaxing and the resort had so many other things to do to make a beach vacation great!

This is one of the best family resorts at Myrtle Beach SC.My family of 6 has stayed there 2 times & loved it.I would recommend this resort to anyone especially family's with children.There is so much offered here you don't even have to leave for fun or good food it's all offered here.

My reservations got canceled and I ended at the Beachcomber Hotel. What a hidden treasure. Very nice and clean and friendly staff.

My husband and I decided to take a few days away from home. We usually go to Georgia's coast. Last minute, we decided to go to a different locality. We chose Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Have decided to visit again. Probably, will bring the grandchildren and parents with us. Hey, the more the merrier.

I golfed at some really nice courses. The walk around the pond, with a cold one, was real neat.

Came down from INDIAN TRAIL NC for my Birthday. We had the best time. It had just snowed, and was cold. We were able to swim, seat in the hot tub, bowl, play games, eat at the motel. Was not much open in town, but still had a wonderful time. Thanks Captains Quarters!

Captains Quarters Resort was the best we choosen in a while. With Four children and 2 adults it was a great price. The staff was very nice. The rooms were roomy. All the extras you get, on site bowling, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs and lazy rivers. My children are different ages and something for all of them. Oh did I mention we had a great view of the ocean too.

Loved it here. So peaceful and beautiful. Atmosphere is just what you need for relaxation and enjoyment..

Very family hotel. We enjoyed each time we went. With my son as a paraplegic it was easy access to beach, beach chairs. The amusement park. The employees went above & beyond to see our needs were met

There's some much to do on site for just the kids and just for the aults. But there is also a lot to do for the whole family to do together!

I am disabled so my daughter took me to myrtle beach. I enjoyed myself very much though I had a hard time walking on the beach. I loved looking out over the balcony at the beautiful ocean and the beach. to me there is no place like myrtle beach. there is a lot to do. I live in NC but my heart belongs to myrtle beach.

I'm in love with myrtle beach, my family and I have visited at least twice a year going on 6 years now, there are so many activities to enjoy, from the beach to the boardwalk to Broadway on the beach.

It was such a nice stay at captains quarters. We enjoyed the hammocks on the patio. The lazy river was my sons favorite part we stay there a lot. We will deffintly stay here again.

Me and my family stayed for 4 nights and it was great! Loved the bowling, the glow in the dark and fire show. The balcony view overlooking the ocean was amazing to wake up to. We already booked again for next year!!

Enjoyed the pools, beach access, bowling, on-site food and clean rooms. Everything else we needed was close by

We love Captain's Quarters! My family enjoy everything Captain's Quarters has to offer, the bowling, kids activities, live music.

We are V.I.P. residents(Snowbirds) now after staying at the Quarters for the past 10 years. The management and staff are there for you no matter the situation. Renovations have been taking place the past few years and it is amazing the changes in the Quarters for the best. Those staying at the Quarters either short or long stay are treated with the utmost respect and believe me when I say we would stay no where else in Myrtle Beach, we are looking forward to our 2018 stay and can not wait to see our friends again at the Quarters.

I've been coming to Myrtle Beach every since I can remember. Now that I'm an adult I'm bringing my children to Myrtle Beach. We love staying at the Captain's Quarters there's always something for my children to do. The pirate theme is amazing and you cannot beat the food! Clean rooms and friendly staff! Myrtle Beach is definitely a vacation spot we will have now and many years to come!

From the moment we checked into Captain Quarters till We left it was AMAZING! Great/friendly staff. The suite was very nice. Pools and the entire resort were clean. This vacation was the best. Definitely will return.

My husband and I have been visiting Myrtle for about 6 years twice a year. We have been looking for a place to stay again and again. Have tried several places but this one seems to fit our wants and needs the best. It has everything all in one area and very convenient to other places we might visit. Per your website we found that housekeeping was on point, everyone in the resort was quite friendly and helpful, an in-room coffee maker with coffee was a must, you had cable that worked without issue and with network channels and the in-house breakfast area Ocean View was a bonus. Unlike other resorts we witnessed workers cleaning the pool area constantly... That is a big plus!!! I believe we have found our place to stay and without breaking the bank!!! ❤❤❤

This resort is awesome. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool areas are clean and kid friendly. We love it there and have vacationed there since 2006. There are lots of things to do there and lots of wonderful places to dine. Definitely Mammys Kitchen for breakfast. Wonderful dinner shows and lots of shopping. We love walking around in the boardwalk area and Peaches Corner. We had so much fun on the golf cart we rented as well. The beach is my happy place!! We love you Myrtle Beach!!

Room was very clean and updated! There was some construction, but didn't bother us. Right on the beach!

It was are 29 wedding anniversary. When we got to captain quarters and the gave us r room we got champagne to beautiful glasses balloons a nice tote bag a frisbey and a beach towel . It was such a nice stay that we r going to go back in may. We have been staying here for over 20 years and would never stay any where ealse.

I loved the service we got and love the hotel and we stay there now every time we go. We have a great time when we stya love the bowling alley my kids have a great time there and love the hotel.

We booked a oceanfront double queen room with a kitchenette. Check-in was easy and they were so polite! Such a nice and clean hotel, a lot of families and we loved that aspect of the hotel. We loved the hammock and pools! It was March so we stayed mainly in the indoor pool/lazy river and outdoor hot tub! But the kid's pool area was really nice! They had a Level Six Bowling Center which had a bowling alley, games, and bar. Vista Nine is the restaurant inside the hotel where there is a breakfast buffet daily! Also, Loko Gecko is a restaurant across the street that Captain Quarter's also has and it's a great place to go to hang out. Although we were disappointed the pool bar wasn't open it was a great hotel and we would definitely stay again!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our overall stay. we love myrtle beach! Our hotel is always clean the staff is friendly and always willing to help to make things better and our children love the bowling alley and the ship wreck lagoon. its been 3 years since we have been down and we cant wait to visit in june 2015. I believe this is a fifth time coming back to the same hotel:)

Staff was great. I enjoyed the pools, lazy river, bowling, restaurant, work out facility, laundry facility, etc. I ate out every day at great restaurants with no waiting in line.

We have stayed at a couple of nice hotels in the past, but Captain's Quarters was by far the best place we stayed. Staff was great. All pools were great.

It was a wonderful experience. The staff was very helpful in getting me to a section of the hotel that didn't require climbing stairs and our relocation was seamless. The number of pools made it easy to find seclusion from great numbers of people at any one time. I would stay there again and look forward to our next trip to Myrtle Beach.

it was an adventure this year. our original hotel messed up our reservations, so we ended up staying with family at captains quarters. it was a great hotel. one of the best ive been to in mb.

The bowling alley on the 7th floor is nice for late evening and rainy days!! 5 star rating if you stay in the new part.

It's super nice! I love the bowling alley inside and game room it has everything in it.

We stayed their every time we go. We caught sun fest and we even stayed in January. We always had good service. Now my boys are hook on this when they have a chance to go.

this place is very nice! There are so many things to do... Bowl, play at the arcade, have a drink at the bar, eat breakfast with an amazing view, and just a short walk to Loco Geico, family kingdom, and many other attractions. the cleanliness was wonderful and the staff are always friendly, helpful, and very informative about upcoming events and attractions!! We have stayed at the CQ twice; once for our honeymoon in 2015 and again this past summer with our children. Choosing to stay anywhere on the Grand Strand during the summer months can be an expensive endeavor however, Captain's Quarters has so many economical options that you simply can't go wrong. Our rooms were safe, clean, well-appointed, and just steps from the wide range of amenities the resort offers; the best of which is the beach, itself!

We love the ocean front King room with the quirky triangle shape. The panoramic views are awesome. Cost is reasonable at this family oriented hotel. Not the newest or the fanciest, but when you are at the beach you aren't in your room much anyway.

outside of the police dept. harassing everyone driving a mustang during the week of sept. 3rd thru the 9th, 2018, and me getting a parking ticket, after being told to park where i did by the hotel staff, it was good. I will defiantly be coming back.

My family is always made to feel welcome there. We truly feel so relaxed and can enjoy one another's company. Customer service is great and we absolutely love the breakfast buffet with the view!

Hotel service was excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. The balcony in our unit was great which faced out to the ocean. We stepped out the balcony almost every minutes because the view was so beautiful and relaxing. especially the ocean sound put us in a calm and relax mood. I wish I can purchase a unit like this for my retirement. No doubt, I would love to visit this beautiful place again.

We love the oceanfront king room with the huge windows. What a view! The close onsite parking garage is also a plus. The oceanfront hammock near the pool is a great place to relax with a drink from the tiki bar.

We totally enjoyed our stay at myrtle beach. We just needed more time. So much to do and we tried to do all we could and we loved the indoor pool and the bowling at the hotel.

This is a great place to stay in Myrtle Beach that is close to all of the attractions. The rooms are comfortable and there is even a bowling alley in the hotel for those rainy or lazy days when everybody may be too tired to go out anywhere.

Room and staff was very good.Pool were not consistent,as one night they were heated and one night they were cold.Same with the hot tubs.Also level 9 restaurant had excellent breakfast but staff and customer service is terrible.10 minutes to get seated with 5 empty tables????

Our stay at captains quarter's was great, only complaints I have would be the extensive construction going on in their busiest season..and the stale smell in our room. Other than that we loved it..especially the daily activities!

Very friendly and right on the beach. Restaurant next door had good food and not pricey, some what slow , probably because of season and one chef/cook.Building very dated, needed better cleaning in bath room floors and spots that probably get a quick wipe and not really cleaned. I believe the AC unit in unit above was leaking through ceiling of our unit by the balcony, the finish from the parging or sheet rock knock down was falling on the AC unit by balcony. It was a non smoking hotel yet some of the employees were in the hall or garage entrance areas smoking and someone was actually putting out their cigarette on the carpet by their entrance doors on the 5th floor beside the 520 room we had. Couldn't sit on the balcony for the cigarette smoke from room beside or above us.All and all for what we paid I would revisit.

Enjoyed our stay. Weather was great.

We booked the angle ocean front room at Captains Quarters for our trip last November. The view is fantastic with both a desk and picture window and no buildings to block the view. Few rooms offer this at a reasonable rate without having to get a suite. We plan to come back and book the same room this year.

Everything on site for great stay

The resort rooms are a bit dated. The kids love the pools and lazy river. Housekeeping could be a bit better. There is kind of an odd chemical smell in our room. But who is in their room much! This resort is right on the ocean with heated pools! Nice add on's like bowling and breakfast make this place a one-stop-shop. The pool towels are a nice bonus-if they aren't out. The one down side was $10/day to park in the garage. I would come back to this resort. We had a blast! The friendly staff were great!

We got to watch fireworks every night of our stay. Even watched them from our balcony one night when they shot them off the 2nd pier. It was fantastic!

My stay a Captains Quarters was good my kids had a good time. Elevators was a little slow and the room was a little dated. Housekeeping was awesome. I would stay again and I have recommended this place to friends and family since my stay

We stayed over the 4th of July holiday. Our Room was clean and nice. We had to ask for dish towels because we hadn't received them from the get go. We were lacking a few cooking utensils, which isn't a big deal but a bit of an inconvenience. One thing that was not to pleasant was that elevators took a bit to arrive as we were on in the fifteenth floor. And they seemed to break down a lot. But as far as kids go, they have a lot of activities for children. And they also have their own bowling alley. We would choice to stay here again in the future.

This is an older hotel with slow elevators. The room was very clean and quiet and the view was spectacular. You could lay in bed and just look at the ocean, very relaxing.

The hotel is nice, but I'm not there to stay inside, I enjoy the beach as much as possible, The resort could do away with playing music so vacationers could enjoy the waves.

It was our first stay at this resort as we like to try different places we usually stay at Coral Beach and we love it there but decided to try this one for a change. When we stay in N Myrtle Beach we stay at Prince Resort or Ocean Drive resort we love the staff and accommodations at all the places we stay as we have been coming there twice a year for the last ten years and would love to move there someday is most definitely where we recommend family and friends to go to on their vacation

My children loved the several pool areas... The splash grounds was amazing as well. The bar and kareoke was very convenient. My wife and i fell in love with the full kitchenette.. Home away from home... Must come back

The beach is my favorite vacation spot. Captain's Quarters did not fail me. Our suite was beach front and the view was fantastic! My two young grand daughters were with me and they really enjoyed the lazy river and pools available there. The staff did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable and it was. Being a group of five, we needed extra towels, linens, etc and they were provided without a hassle. The suite was clean but somewhat worn as it was late in the season when we stayed. Parking was great! The balcony provided an excellent view of the beach and the sound of the water was so relaxing.

The beds could have been a little bit more comfortable, but overall we had a great stay at Captain's Quarters. The staff was very accommodating, and the atmosphere was friendly and fun.

The hotel was clean, and very customer friendly. The faucet in the bathtub was messed up but they did someone up to fix it. I enjoyed the family feel of the hotel, and my children enjoyed all the extras they had to offer. It was great getting to spend the day at the beach and the evening bowling in their bowling alley. It made for a full day of fun activities. My children also got to enjoy the hula dancers and the fire show which was awesome! Great experience and we plan on staying again!!

When we arrived It was the end of motorcycle week. I wish someone had told me to wait a day to start our vacation. It was fine we were tired from driving from Chicago. I have two young girls 2 and they loved the beach. The next day was great! Everyone had checked out. It was quiet at the pool. My girls loved walking back and forth from the beach to the pool. The bowling was a fun way to start our evening after nap time. We were in walking distance to everything. We had a great trip and will return!

this hotel was great just wish the room was a little more updated. The facility has so much to do and the staff was great! we had a great view from our balcony. I am going back again May 3, 2015 cannot wait and we are staying at the same hotel.

I really loved the spacious room and oceanview and the shower was amazing the whole bathroom was extravagant

we had a great room except it was really dated and worn ...had some wonderful seafood at captain georges restaurant and the beach was fabulous !!!

We have stayed with Captians Quarters before and just love the hotel. The ship is wonderful for small children and my daughter loves to watch all the activities that goes on (she is still to young to participate). The hotel is always very clean and the rooms are cleaned daily. I guess my only complaint is the parking. I understand they have to limit parking to the guests but I think if you book a larger room like we did it sould come with an extra parking pass. We had to look for parking in the public spaces next to the hotel but they are limited. So we ended up parking our 2 car and not using it the rest of our trip.

This was our first time at this hotel. Hotel was extremely pleasant. The staff was wonderful, gave me box of taffys for my birthday! Room was very clean! Our package included breakfast every day which was delicious...great variety of food on the buffet...always very hot...breakfast room had incredible view of ocean, felt like we were on a cruise ship! The waitresses were so friendly and wonderful! What a terrific time of year in Myrtle Beach...we have been there in spring, summer and now fall...always fantastic.

I HAVE STAYED AT THIS RESORT THE LAST FEW TIMES I HAVE VISITED MYRTLE BEACH. THE STAFF IS EXCELLENT AND THE ACCOMODATIONS ARE EXTREMELY SATISFACTORY. NICE CLEAN ROOMS AND BEAUTIFUL OF VIEW FROM BALCONY. THE STAFF HERE IS SO PLEASANT AND FRIENDLY, IF YOU NEED ANYTHING THEY ARE MORE THAN WILLING TO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE YOUR STAY THE BEST THEY CAN.

Wonderful! Most of all kid friendly.Took grandkids and they had a blast!! Have stayed at other hotels but Captains Quarters was best so far.No unruly drunks at the pool as was with some of the other places.This meant a lot to me since we are not drinking people.Really had a good time,parking was great and the hotel is close to other sights that the kids wanted to visit.Yay for Myrtle Beach!!!

We had an amazing time in myrtle beach!! We stayed at the captains quarters. We really enjoyed our stay there. The only complaints we had with this hotel are the giant cockroach in the pool area and the elevators suck! We had to wait forever to catch one. With an arm load of stuff we took to the beach waiting was no fun!! Our daughters had a blast! Can't wait to go back!

Great place for families, on site bowling alley, arcade are really fun, especially if you have a rainy day on your vacation. Easy parking as well.

The room was very clean, poolside which was fabulous, and yet cheap. We come to MB twice a year for bike week and have done so for more than 15 years. We were pleased with this 3 story older motel for our spring trip.

My stay was great. This was our first trip as a family with the kids. We did speed boat rides, helicopter tours, & a dolphin cruise. We also rode the giant ferris wheel. Our hotel was just right. Great view. Would love to go again with the family I feel we missed so much.

Our group of 11 stayed at Captains Quarters . The hotel had so much to do to keep the kids busy and entertained leaving the adults time to relax and enjoy a couple drinks from the outdoor bar. We loved that it was right on the ocean and close to everything on the main street. The rooms we stayed in were very modern amd staff was great!

We were looking for a quick inexpensive get a way and chose Myrtle Beach. We have a 3 year old that had a blast and spent most days running the beach. Our hotel was fabulous and we had a such a good time we booked an extra night.

we come down every year for all of our birthdays ....my daughters is June 17, my other daughters is the 18th, my husbands is the 20 the and mine is July 1st then my sons is July 5th ...our hotel room was smaller than we imagined we usually stay at bluewater resort. it was very clean and the staff was just wonderful ....definately would stay again with an adjoining room though...had a great birthday foreveryone wish we could stay in Myrtle beach forever

We love Captain's Quarters! Good value, close to everything. Convenient parking, great specials. The kids love Level 6. We have stayed there 3 times. This will be our 4th. Not interested in trying anybody else.

Its an awesome hotel, especially if you have younger kids. Their pool area is amazing! And they also have a bowling alley and game room on site. I love it and so do my sons!

Before we bought our RV we stayed there at the Captian's Quarters for 10 years on second week of June. Always clean and friendly and good meals at the restaurant. Never bowled but we inside. Loved the pools and hot tub.

Clean rooms, cheap prices! My fiance and me stayed there over valentines day and it was one of the best trips ive had!!

First time to Myrtle Beach last March. Loved the room on the ocean side. Separate bedroom from living area plus kitchenette. Sunrise, low & high tide awesome. Hotel is a little older, could use some updates, but it is nice for the money. Close to attractions.

Was a little disappointed with cleanliness of room. Maid service was slow.

So we have gone to Myrtle Beach for about 15 years. Always in August so this is the first time we have been in December. We went right after Christmas through New Years. The Resort is very big and has great amenities. We loved the indoor poolscape with a big pool, 3 big hot tubs, a lazy river. The bowling alley and arcade were great and our kids loved it. There were several downsides though. We had 2 issues with our room which they came and fixed but which became a problem again a day or two later. The breakfast buffet and restaurant is way smaller than the other 3 resorts we have stayed in. The worst part was the noisy guests at 2 and 3 am every night which security didn't seem to do anything about. The manager was very nice and gave us refund on some of our breakfast vouchers and bowling passes and arcade cards for out troubles. We will probably not return even though it had a lot of great features for a winter stay.

Our family enjoyed staying at Captain's Quarters this past Summer. The on-site attracrions were fun and very family friendly.

Had a great family vacation

Our kids had plenty to do with the indoor heated pools and the bowling and arcade. Room was a little musty when we arrived and they tried to charge a parking fee that was not in our bill or online but the manager took care of that for us. We had a 2 room side few room which was fine for the winter for 2 nights. The King bed was hard as a rock which is why we got the room but the queen was the best so we made the kids move. Pools were great and only problem was the guard kept yelling at folks to get a tube but they only had 6 tubes for 20 people but they got more the next day. Food was great overlooking the ocean and it was hot and fresh. The free game card was also nice and the bowling kept the kids busy but it was not cool to have to get covered in smoke smell to walk to the arcade and bowling alley. for the most part it was fun and I can see it being really busy in the summer time so might try it again in season.

I was unhappy with my room but they fixed by giving me a different one. It is usually better than it was this time. I will try to find a different one on my next visit! Everything at the beach was great though.

The staff were friendly at Captain's Quarters and attentive to guests. Requests for extra towels etc. were delivered to the room promptly. Enjoyed Tiki the parrot also.

I enjoy beachfront resorts. Myrtle Beach is my favorite because the beach doesn't have a high dune restricting the view. The off season prices are so reasonable it's hard to pass it up. I enjoy the wide variety of restaurants and bars as well. Our stay this year at Captain's Quarters was everything I expected it to be and more. I can't wait to get back.

The hotel was fine, we stay there because of the price and where it's located. I would probably try a different place next time i go. My timeshare is in surfside and we wanted to be on the ocean

Functional Hotel with a Great Staff

The management was more then accommodating. My 4 year old granddaughter loved the kiddie pool, and my 14 year old granddaughter loved the DJ and the line dancing.

Our room was gross but pools were awesome.

We had a great time. The room was a little out dated but the pools and the view was great. The bowling alley was awsome. The hotel is in a good location, close to the peer and not to far from the strip.

It is a very nice place to stay with families. However, my room had a couple issues. They were addressed by management and we were compensated.

The view from the ocean front window and balcony is magical. To see the dolphins swim by in the early moring is like a dream. The breakfast at the hotel is not something I would recommend, as I had a roach running out of my napkin. I really don't like to mix bugs with my breakfast. :( The in room service was poor, had to call the front desk to get my toilet tissues and towels. The location of the hotel is great and the 6th floor bowling, bar and games is fun for the family. The pools are great and really, everything else is great too, I just did not like the "bug". The price is right for sure and yes, even though I had that bug on my fork, I would visit again, I just would not visit the restaurant at the hotel. And like I said earlier, the view is magical, the sound of the ocean, the fresh air, the happy dolphins, the happy people, the waves..... everything the beach have to offer is jusr wonderful. I've been to Spain, Sweden, Germany, Norway, Finland, Denmark, England..... But nothing is as good as MYRTLE BEACH. My favorite place for sure!

Family Friendly, enjoyable and relaxing

THE ROOMS NEVER LOOK AS GOOD AS THE PICTURES. CLEANING CREW VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL. VIEW TO POOLS BLOCKED FROM ROOM. PARKING WAS SOMEWHAT CONFUSING. DID FORGET MY HAT, LOL. ALL IN ALL IT WAS OK.

It was enjoyable to spend time in our large room and relax. Bowling is a plus and on site. The lazy river is quite an attraction, however, kids(and adults) were not following the safety rules and that causes confusion. There was an odor that came off the water as well, so for those reasons we avoided the pool and opted for the hot tub instead.

Stay in an Angle oceanfront suite. Those are newer rooms. Great kids pool areas. Parking garage is a plus. Don't eat in the bowling alley! Way pricey for frozen food.

WE had a very good time and enjoyed all the people we met. Everyone was courtesy.

Was not impressed, booked on Hotwire the fees when we arrived were not disclosed and the staff including Managment were extremely rude. We rode down 12 hours on a bike and were just tired, when we arrived they said we had to pay am extra $40+ for fees. Like I said not happy. Also the hotel was dumpy and had cigarette butts and smokers in the halls and kids running everywhere without their parents.

We used to stay there also, before they added the Pirate Ship to the large pool. Wasn't too bad when we first started staying there...in 1995. But each year, it seemed to go down hill. Rooms were not cleaned to our satisfaction...one time we found corn chips on the top shelf of the closet...and another time we had to call the front desk upon arrival because the bed still had dirty sheets on them! We never stayed there again.

We were there several years ago and found it NOT very pleasant. It was recommended to us and was not what was expected. Very small room for 4 people and it wasn't very clean !!!!!!

Spent 7 days there was a bad experience

stayed once, will not go back, rude employees(that was management)expensive(didn't get room we paid for),no bathrooms on the bottom floor to use while youre in pool or at the ocean, have to go back upstairs to your room! bowling was supposed to be included in our package but by the time you paid for shoe rental....it was really expensive..DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE

Stayed at Captains one year...filthy dirty,rude employees,room was not properly stocked and trash and actual chicken bones laid in the hall the whole week!! Will NEVER stay there again!
