Very accommodating for all. The only resort that accepts 2 and 3 wheeled vehicles with open arms~♡~

loved our last stay at Crown Reef Resort. It was located near the airport, and yet not too far away from all the exciting things to do in Myrtle Beach. I have been coming to Myrtle Beach since I was a small child, it is such a special place to me.

Went for an anniversary trip in December and we had a great time! Our smoke detector started beeping at 2:30 in the morning, we called the office and she sent maintenance to replace batteries. We were back in bed within 10 mins of being woken up. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Definitiely coming back with our little boy, think we have found our new place to stay!

The resort was great for my family because of the waterpark and other things to do. Children had a great time and my wife and I enjoyed it as much as them. Definitely would recommend this resort as a must stay in MB, SC!

We had a blast. The veiw of the beach and the resort itself made our trip worth working all year for.

This is a great place for spring break. So much for the kids and adults to do you don't even have to leave the hotel grounds. The waterpark is great and during early April you never know if the weather will be warm or cold or a mix during the week so having the heated pools and waterslides enclosed are great. Alot of activities for all age groups.

Good clean family fun place

I have stayed here twice with my mom . This is her favorite place on the beach and now it is mine as well . Friendly staff , clean rooms and safe parking . Not to mention the awesome breakfast . And the relaxing bar area . I have told numerious people about this place and some have been there and loved it as well .

Great place for kid's to have fun

I love this hotel. The pool area is so clean, water was clean. I made the mistake of staying at Sun and Sand "resort" it had roaches, black mold, broken sliding glass doors. Pool and Jacuzzi were broken. I asked for a night stay to be put on my card, as it was deplorable conditions. The manager did that. Get back home and get a call from discover. They attempted to hit my card for the stay!! Had to get all new cards etc. Wrote a letter to Myrtle beach chamber of commerce. They said "sorry" and forwarded back to the resort. PLEASE listen to me when I tell you Crown Reef is amazing!

I have been coming to myrtle beach for years and years and always stayed at the same place. This past year I decided to give the Crown Reef a shot because it's so pretty when you see it at night. We were very satisfied with our room, breakfast every morning, the little cafe is great.we are staying again this year...

Perfect place for families with children! No shortage of things to do within the resort. Better water slides than most water parks! Great entertainment by the pool with a nice bar with yummy drinks for adults and children. Right on the ocean. Had a wonderful time and we will be back!

This place has so much to offer. From the arcade to the beautiful pools and funtastic slides , we loved that our first trip to Myrtle Beach was at the Crown Reef Resort while our children Cruz and Harley Rose did some modeling there. It was such an awesome family trip.

Crown Reef Resort is family friendly. They have spacious rooms with kitchens so you can cook if you just want to stay in for a meal. The water features are wonderful. They have a huge lazy river and the kids love the tube water slide. They also have entertainment poolside. The restaurant is covenant and resonably priced. We have stayed there many times and recommend to friends and family.

This was one of the best stays ever at myrtle beach we stayed at the crown reef resort. Kids loved the waterpark and arcade. Breakfast was great view amazing and the room was perfect it was clean and very roomy loved it will defintly be coming back and staying at the crown reef again real soon

The crown reef is at end of the beach drive an at nite stands out with it's majestic purple glow! We have stayed there when it was only 1 tower an now with all the expansion it still is at top of our list with many amenities! Another perk close to airport..walk in distance to Damon's on the beach...along with it's own vast of pools an lazy river..over all great family spot for a amazing get away

We busted Myrtle Beach in March and stayed at the Crisn Reef. Even though the hotel was being renovation we had a great time and the staff was extremely helpful!

My son and I loved our time in Myrtle Beach as we always do every year but this stay was by far our best stay. I had as much fun as my son at the Water Park and watching him have as much fun as he did was epic.

The very affordable package we purchased including a hot breakfast bar was very very good . Room was clean and nice.

My oldest daughter had to evacuate from Georgia and this resort gave her a great deal. My grandchildren loved the waterpark and Loco Gecko has the best food on the strip

This resort is just a wonderful place to stay at. Here it is so much to do and the rooms are really nice. The people that work here were all nice and very helpful. I just love everything about this resort. You and your family will all that they have so much to offer right there.

Myrtle Beach is our favorite vacation spot. We have been going to Crown Reef for at least 19 years now. The sunsets on the beach are just spectacular. We can see the entire beach from our oceanfront room. It’s just a few steps from our room to the pools or to the ocean. Our room is nicely kept while we are sunning or walking on the beach. The staff are just as nice as can be and will do anything to make your stay a good one. My grandson loves the water slides and the pavilion. There’s a lot to keep him busy. We will always come back to Crown Reef..

Breakfasts were excellent especially our expertly made omelets. It's staff was the most courteous and professional in the 30 years I'very stayed in Myrtle Beach. Exceptional.

The South Carolina Hotel attendants were very prompt and professional. When we needed food brought to the room, it was fast and perfectly cooked. The stay was clean, and all the employees were friendly and understanding of my needs. Thus, making the stay in beautiful and friendly South Carolina, Relaxing And Rested.

Our first visit to Myrtle Beach could not of been any better! Crown Reef was the best hotel there. Our 8 year old son loved the water park being right there and we could easily keep an eye on him while laying on the lounge chairs around the pool. Our room was clean, nice and large and oceanfront! There was a "sticky" spot on the floor when we first checked in but they immediately switched our room and gave us resort credit that we used for dinner at the in-house restaurant. The breakfast buffet is to die for! Everything was fresh and had so much to choose from. Would not have changed a thing about our stay in Myrtle Beach!

We been staying at Crown Reef for several years now. I love all the people that work there but my favorite is Danielle Livingston. Our family met her several years ago and she is always so nice. We have become very good friends. When we get ready to come to the beach I always call Danielle to book our stay. If she's not there I leave a message and she always calls back. When we get to the beach she always makes sure we ok. I could go on and on about her but I better go on to the next person. Always remember Danielle Livingston she's always got a smile on her face. We got here March 25th and leaving April 3 and we will be back in a month. We only live 2 hours away so we get to come a lot. Thanks so much Danielle for always going out of your way to help our stay the best!!!!! Next I would like to thank the lady Mickalia English for keeping our room clean and helping us in anyway. U done a great job and very friendly. Next to the guys that run their but off to make sure things are done right and clean. I want to give a big shout out to Jermaine James, Josh Green, Duane Landrum.... U men Rock. No matter what the problem is u guys fix it. U go way out of your way to get what we need. We stayed in a first floor ocean front handicap accessible room and it was super nice with a great view of the beach. The room and the location were perfect. I recommend this hotel because it was well maintained, offered many activities for the entire family and had friendly staff.. . This place has been the best place we've stayed since we started taking family vacations to the beach four years ago. Thank you for a great time Crown Reef!

We decided to stay at The Crown Reef Resort with our family and friends this year. We stayed oceanfront and absolutely loved it. The water slides were a huge hit loved the lazy river. The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean. The parking was wonderful since parking at other resorts are minimal. The only issue we had was the elevators were extremely slow or broken which was my only complaint being on the 11th floor.

We stayed at the hotel with free breakfast every morning. Sat out on the deck and watched the ocean.. The room was very clean and had no problems.

Hotel was under construction , but did not bother us at all. The bar had just opened up that weekend. Bar staff were awesome . Hotel was clean, but rooms could use a few more mirrors . 4 girls and 1 mirror was tough (lol) coming back again 5/215-5/6/15 . Reservations are already made .

This was our first visit to myrtle beach since our newest baby was born. It was a much needed getaway after a stressful pregnancy and birth. Plus my kids love the beach. The Crown Reef is one of the few hotel/resorts that I will stay in. There are so much for the kids to do if they don't want to go to the beach. Plus is oceanfront, so I can sit on the balcony and look out at the ocean while having my coffee! The rooms are spacious and clean. Any problems, the staff are quick and courteous at resolving the issue. Bonus, it's so close to the boardwalk and all the activities that we can enjoy as a family!!

At the Dunes the room was perfect. Very clean and the housing staff were very nice. The front desk were very accommodating with our luggage since we got there before check-in.

The hotel was awesome! Our kids had a blast on the water slides! The only complaint we had was the check in process. It was very unorganized, but other than that it was a great time!

This was my second trip to Myrtle Beach and stay at Crown Reef. Love the quiet location. Everything was clean, the staff was fantastic, friendly, and always helpful. Loved sitting by the pool and enjoyed the pool bar's afternoon happy hour. Even went parasailing right out front of the hotel. Definitely will be back and stay at The Crown Reef again.

I don't think I can say enough about this place! The staff is amazing, the room was very nice and clean, the pools and lazy river were perfect. The poolside activities were great and I can't leave out Salty. Salty the Shark is the hotels mascot and all ages love him. I could go on and on...

I was really sceptical when booking this hotel because I had read some bad reviews. There were not many hotels that had a availability because of it being summer and the fire convention was that week. We were not disappointed! Everything was great from the check in to the housekeeping. My sisters and I went down for the Firefighters convention to attend the memorial service because our dad had passed away the previous year. We enjoyed our stay.

We used to come up and stay like 2-3nights a year just for us adults to get away,last time ee stayed they were just doing the water park and everyone has to pay a fee because of it,im handicap and can not. Use it,but i still have to pay extra for it Me and my 3 adults kids been staying at the koa for the CCMF past few years

We loved our stay. There was so much for the kids to at the hotel without stepping foot off the property. The waterpark kept the kids entertained for hours. They also had a movie night, which the kids enjoyed sitting outside and watching it. I also liked that it was not in the heart of the all the hustle and bustle, so there wasn't as much traffic. All in all, it was a nice resort that didn't break the bank.

We have stayed at Coral Reef so many times, and each time is enjoyable. Love the private pool/bar area for entertainment. Great customer service, clean rooms, excellent value. We will be staying at the Coral Reef many more times in the future.

I've stayed at several resorts in Myrtle Beach, but I think for a family vacation, the Coral Reef is my favorite. There are great pools and water attractions for kids, including two large water slides. There are large pools for the adults and a huge long lazy river that's perfect for relaxing. Of course a short walk from the pool area puts you on the beach, with opportunities to wade, swim, shell, or just lay in the sun. There is ample parking ($10/day extra) and nice, comfortable beds in the rooms. The balcony was enjoyable as well. There is a small onsite restaurant and a lounge area, as well as a game room where kids and adults can be entertained and earn tickets to claim prizes. The nice this about the Crown Reef is its proximity to the airport. Literally just a few minutes' drive.

Greensboro I alway stay at the Crown Reef when i come to beach, i don't have to worry if i will get ocean front, because all rooms are ocean front. Its not far from all attraction. I just love the place.

Our weekend stay was very much acommendating to our needs very sufficient, friendly staff , it was clean we enjoyed the water park immensely were great didn't have a long wait on the food they were well prepared , area was kept clean. The activities were great overall it was a great stay .

We really enjoy staying here! The location is great. Easy access to the beach. The waterpark is fun we are seniors and we still enjoy the waterslides and other water features. Room had a good ocean view. We will stay again!

My Nephew loved the waterpark and inside pool. Had a blast. Staff was friendly. Elevators could have been a little cleaner. Overall everthing was great.

We stayed in Myrtle Beach over the years at Compass Cove, Holiday Sands South and Crown Reef and we have been satisfied everywhere we did stay. We simply love Myrtle. We are not able to go every year because of the distance, we live in the Province of Québec, but whenever we can we go. We love the beach, the stores, restaurants and also people we meet. We never have been disappointed over the years. For many years we have rented a 3 bedrooms condo, having our girls and grand-daughter with us. We shall come bach as soon as we have a chance for sure.

Had a wonderful time at the Crown Reef. Even though it was off season arriving at the end of it Labor Day weekend, and although a hurricane was brewing in the Atlantic. Each day brought us a new experience on the beach from sharks teeth to sea urchins. The room was most comfortable and had all one needs. With the exception of the tiki bar not being open and dirty elevators. It was a beautiful hotel and I would highly recommend it.

The staff here went above and beyond . everyone was friendly and the rooms were clean. There is food, an arcade, and fitness room. There is really no need to leave the premises unless you want to do some sight seeing!

Love this place. They are still updating and doing maintenance to make it a really nice resort. The staff is top notch ! And always friendly and willing to help. The cleaning staff is always superb and our room is always clean.

I had heard/read mixed reviews of the resort but our stay was awesome. My two year old loved the waterpark and lazy river. We had breakfast every morning at the resort. The food was really good!

The Crown Reef is great for just couples or family's. Our room was very clean and house keeping where very nice. The only complaint I have is checking in across the street and they don't have enough luggage carts for the size of their facility. It took us 40 minutes to find one. Then I had to follow another guest and wait for them to unload the cart.

Weather was a little cool, but had a wonderful time! Motel was under renovations, but our room was still nice.

Love Myrtle Beach sad to see it lose its home town feel ever since the Air Force leaving the new town fathers want to take the beach to a new place where you aren't welcome unless you are European or willing to spend a small fortune I have been coming since my dad was stationed there in the 70's my family has always loved it I have to I'm not sure why they are wanting the people who kept the area alive when the city struggled to stop coming against bike weeks against car weeks wantin nothing more than shoppers there was a reason that cruising down the Boulevard was a number 1 song we all have from one end to the other seeing the girls the shops just to people watch try to sit in your hotel parking lot and watch the different motor cycles or cars you will have someone on a bicycle tell you it's against town ordinance take your family to the beach for the day don't put a umbrella up because if you are going to be told you have to RENT one from the city really it's the beach why

As always we had a great time in myrtle beach. We stayed at the crown reef for a quick beach getaway and was so glad we did. The lazy river was our favorite amenity not to mention the tiki bar! The room was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed such as a full kitchen and great view from the balcony. The resort was quiet and the beach was not crowded at all and the water was the warmest in September and we've been to myrtle in all the summer months! One of our favorite places to stay so far and we've stayed in quite a few! We look forward to going back.

The hotel was clean, and we had a great view of the beach and surrounding areas. The water park was fun, but there should have been a lifeguard nearby to at least prevent children from running wild. Our room was very quiet and had obviously been updated recently. We would definitely return.

It was really wonderful....the room was great plenly of room , we had 3 kids youngest a little over a year. I sat outside the beach was right under my nose it was so close. Lovely time.

Stayed at the CR in January too. Both times the staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean. I think this is a great location to stay as you are only a few hundred yards from getting out onto 17 or shooting across to Farrow Parkway or jumping onto Harrelson, which puts you on the shortcuts north. Also, points south including MI are not far away. Give it a try, nice beach, not so busy you will be happy.

I visited Myrtle beach 4 times this year, 5 times last year. Its a farther drive from me to Myrtle Beach than Wrightsville beach but Myrtle is less expensive and has more options for entertainment/dining/shopping.

The hotel was okay, a little run down from what I had expected. Maid service was not up to par. Doubt I will ever stay here again. Myrtle Beach was good, great seafood and hospitality.

Perfect location for all the things we like. South enough to be close to MI, and just far enough away from the busier parts of town. Crown Reef was clean, comfy and right on the beach.

Pretty nice place to stay. The pools and the lazy river rocks. The Lazy River is very long and relaxing it winds in and out underneath the hotel. Very family oriented.

Crown Reef is a all around great place to stay!

My family and I had a great time at Myrtle Beach. The Crown Beach Resort is a good place to stay, but the check-in process was not great. The Line was long. Check-in starts at 4pm and we tried to check-in around 4:30pm. Our room was not ready so they told us we could use the waterpark and beach which is across the street from check-in. We went over and there were no places to change, so we used a restroom. We were told that we would be contacted when the room was ready and we would not have to go back across the street but could check-in over at the resort. When they called and told us the room was ready, I went to customer relations at the resort to check in only to find that they had closed for the day. I had to go back across the street. This was after 6pm when we were finally able to check in (well past check-in). When we got in our room the bathroom door was falling off the hinges and we could not shut the door. We also did not leave soap when they cleaned (not a big deal). They fixed the door right away (hopefully they will replace it b/c they just did a temporary fix and will fall off again) but we had to call again for soap. Other than that the hotel was ok as far as cleanliness. We had a great view of the ocean and the kids loved the beach and the water park and pools at the resort.

The resort rooms are very spacious and clean.

It’s a bit expensive. And you have to still leave to eat. Etc

Unique place

The elevators wasn't working most of our stay. As for our room the bathroom had hair over the sink, but other than those things we had a nice stay.

Kids really enjoyed the water slides, loved the lazy river and pools

I was not impressed with the accommodations

The staff were friendly, the room was not cleaned properly but the outside was immaculate.

Staff was friendly, resort was clean. my only dislike is lack of place to eat on site . The food in the bar was not all that good and was overpriced for the type of food. Need a place for breakfast on site and a light meal so you don't have to leave the resort .

The Crown Reef was a great resort for our young children. The water features were a great added bonus. The hotel was clean, but it was pretty old in our tower. The front desk seemed to be a little disorganized as well. Overall it was nothing negative that affected our stay.

Love this hotel! We have always had a clean room and great accomadations. The staff is alway eager to answer any of our questions, and point us in the right direction.

Staff was nice. Loved location. Like Loco Geiko. Check in lines too long and beds were very uncomfortable. Elevators were slow and broke down with people in it.

Good room. Great view. Bathroom was small and cramped, layout was inefficient. Door swung wrong way making access difficult and a hassle.

crown reef has been completely remodeled! the water park and the pools were exquisite and the hours were favorable. We loved the breakfast buffet and also the night life.

The property was clean..Its in need of updating and new mattresses..

The check in was terrible. It took 2 hours to get checked in. I stood in line so long that I had to lay down and rest in the room before taking to the beach. The first night there was a fire.

It was nice based on price

We had a wonderful time at the crown reef. The crown reef had many amenities that we loved such as the lazy river, the many pools and pool bar. The only complaints that we had were the strange noises that the refrigerator made while we were trying to sleep and flat pillows. The hotel was a little outdated and needed some upgrades but nothing that ruined our trip. We would definitely return.

The rooms were clean and nice. The pools were freezing cold and the hot tubs were way too hot. Overall, besides the pool issues, the trip was pleasant.

We had a lot of fun. No problems to check in or get situated in our room. Place was clean, housekeeping was good, we had kids from toddler to teen so housekeeping was good to help or go around us when and where needed. Asked for extra towels and got extra towels. All staff all around was great and friendly fast service from front desk to bar to laundry. Pools were kept clean everyday since everyone would go from beach water to sand to pool. Good place to stay with kids. The parking was not checked so we had a hard time some nights when others would take up two spots to avoid their cars from being hit but would inconvenience others.

We liked the resort being right on the ocean. Our room was an efficiency with a kitchen and a balcony and oceanfront. We enjoyed the location and the beach and the pool and the lazy river. Getting to Broadway at the Beach was easy.

Stay was adequate. Nothing terrible or thrilling.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were decent size but could have been cleaner. Some of the pools were not being used and a couple of the pools were too dirty to swim in. Supposedly the hotel was recently purchased and was being renovated. Would stay again if the above issues have been addressed.

It was a fair hotel to stay in. They updating some of the rooms we were told on the upper floors. Our fridge was leaking and was making and aweful noise. Call front desk we were moved to another room and had a toilet that would not stop running. Called maintenance and came up right away to fix the problem. At this point would not stay there again unless major renovations occurred too much money for outdated hotel.

I had stayed at the Crown Reef Resort before with only my daughter as a Spring Break mini vacation. I was impressed with the place so I thought it would be great to return with my husband during the summer. I was wrong. The carpet was old and dingy, the ceiling was drooping, the bathroom was not very nice and the furniture was very ugly. My husband asked me why did I bring him here when other hotels were in better condition. We did complain to the manager and he apologized and gave us a day's credit. He said that they were about to remodel the place but it was too late for my husband's opinion of the Crown Reef. He would prefer me to find another hotel for our next vacation.

Bed were not maid when we arrived, no towels, ran out of toilet paper, could not lock the dead bolt. The elevators took forever and once on them there was no air circulation and they were very slow and made a lot of noise.

It was Okay could have been better.

Terrible would not stay their again

We stayed last year and would never go back!! Hot tubs were cold and soooo dirty!! Our friends room got wet from the shower above them leaking!! Clothes and everything in the closet got wet!! They were not moved to another room and no money was given back to them!!! Love the location, but that's all!! Nasty place to stay!!! Needs updating and a good cleaning!! YUCK!!!!
