My family and I absolutely loved this place. There was so much to do my grandsons. Had a blast with all the water slides and the pools and we will definitely be staying here again. Also, it was very clean so happy with the place.
We go every Christmas vacation... The prices during winter are great.indoor water park is always a hit with the kids. THIS IS A FAMILY FRIENDLY RESORT AND NOISE IS ALL AROUND if u are looking for a quiet place to relax over the holiday I wouldn't advise this place as the pools and hot tubs are full all day long with children(doesn't bother me). Only downfall is the inside pools are heavenly chlorinated and they have 2 pool waterpark areas and you have to walk outside thru a parking lot from one building to another... Rooms are big even the smallest of rooms plenty of room clean with full kitchen. every room we have had even angled view has had a beautiful view of the ocean. WILL RETURN HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I Loved everything about it!! My 2 kids loved it as well!! One of the safety guards taught my daughter how to swim her name was Marlene.. Staff was very nice, view was nice, kitchen and stove was nice. Plenty of silverware’s and utensils.. we will going back this summer..

It was a very clean relax resort and the kids had a blast as well me and my husband had fun alot fun activities
The employee always were nice and helpful
We have stayed several times at the dunes.. Love the location
Booking, checking in and out very organized and friendly people. Room was clean and all set to move into. Always greeted by staff when going in and out of unit. The weekly cleaning of our room was done by friendly staff. Overall a great visit.
I went one summer to vacation here and have always wanted to go back. My entire family had a super great time. Loved the amenities and pools.
Very kid friendly. We stayed at New year's and there was something for the kids to do every hour almost. My kids really enjoyed the water park. Staff are very friendly. Great place to stay
Had a WONDERFUL TIME. The staff was very accommodating. Our room was oceanfront view. Looking to return in near future with family.
My family loves coming to Dunes Village for our yearly vacation. Great choice for families with tons to do. Located on a not so busy spot on the beach which is lovely. Can't wait to come back in a few months!
Many amenities for kids and adults. Hard to beat all the pools and recreational activities away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
We have enjoyed family vacations at Dunes village since our children were young. There is always something to from the kids club and all the activities to the water slides and pools. Thenbits on to shuffle board and chess pool side. We love the ice cream truck visits and our morning Starbucks. This hotel paid attention to every detail a family could want in a resort. Many thanks for years of family fun in the sun!☀️
I stayed in this resort on my first trip to Myrtle Beach. Loved the location and the accommodations!
Staying at the Dunes was exceptional because of the accommodations, the restaurant, the convenience of the beach location and the helpful staff. We look forward to another vacation there.
We had a blast. Everyone was so great. It was the first time ever being at the ocean. When we arrived it was in the middle of the night. They gave us on ride side but moved us later. So it was nice to get a oceanside view. I so wish to go back again sometime. Only seen the ocean 3 times now. But the best place is in Myrtle Beach!!!
We had a wonderful time with family! Very comforting like home and spacious ocean front room. My daughter loved both indoor parks!
This hotel is awesome for families. The condos are updated and a beautiful home away from home place to stay with all the great amenities. I have two girls, one a teenager and one 5 years younger. Its hard to go on vacation and please both ages, but this places rocks for family entertainment and something to do for all ages. We were all happy and had plenty to do. We love the option of the beach or pool and love that condos face the beach for a beautiful view. We have stayed at a few different hotel, but this by far is our favorite so far!!!!
Best time with family...so much to do....and so close to all attractions.....!!! Altoona
My family and I loved the atmosphere at your resort! The water-slides to the play-set outside. Of course the very spacious rooms!
Great place to stay.
Like the location. Always nice.
Our stay with Dunes Village Resort was very enjoyable. Great views, great amenities and most of all the indoor water park!
I will be going back the end of June with my daughter and grandson . He loves the water ! Also would love to win the gift card to take him and buy him some clothes .
I'm a disabled veteran a motorized wheelchair I came up to Myrtle Beach to relax and have a little fun and I had the time of my life I was not interrupted on my trip by any problems whatsoever I even rode the ferris wheel in my wheelchair all my friends are jealous of me and I love it
This is a great resort for families. It had many activities for kids other that water stuff. But the pool was nice and clean the water parks were excellent. The bar at the pool was great. They made non-al drinks for the kids that my kids thought were great. Made them feel like they were grown-ups. Thanks for that. Rooms were clean and the layout was good.
MY FAMILY &I HAD A TREMENDOUS TIME,FIRST TIMERS, WE ARE PLANNING ANOTHER TRIP AS WE SPEAK..
The Dunes Village Resort is our favorite place to stay in Myrtle Beach. Our kids love the indoor water parks . We stay here every time we visit always a great time.
We all love the pools & the beach. Our grandchildren love this resort. They have so much fun on the indoor slides, lazy rivers, ect. The kid activities are the favorite.
Have stayed at different places until I found out about dunes resort. I absolutely love it. Don't even have to leave. It has everything from. Lazy rivers great entertainment delicious food and customer service could not ask for better. I can go on but highly recommend this resort. I am hooked.
awesome place to enjoy Myrtle Beach. The beach is well kept and the pool areas are also. The accommodations were comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our week at Myrtle Beach!
During our stay at Myrtle Beach we had a great time . Our resort gave us all the things we needed to keep everyone in our group happy. We had teenagers and young children and they all were happy with the things to do for them at the resort. We had a great time...lots of fun and would definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay
I loved going here in the winter with my grandchildren. They are homeschooled and we are able to go from Monday thru Thursday and save lots of money. Christmas time is especially wonderful because we enjoy the waterpark in the day and the beautiful Christmas shows/events at night.
I enjoyed my vacation. Hotel was huge and was very clean. Loved all the pools
We stay several places when we visit but the best place we have stayed so far has been Dunes Village Resort. Main reason is bc of the indoor water park for our kids! But it has awesome rooms, very clean and really good service if needed!
They had lots of things for my granddaughter. The pirate ship sand castle area was great! Lazy river was huge...not big enough for big water slides..but she could float around the lazy river all day! She loved the kiddie pool area everything was wonderful for a 5 year. The snow cone guy in the sand area was very good idea considering it was 98 in July.It was just a really SUPER place to stay!!! Almost forgot...they had a really cool submarine!!!!!!!!Can't say enough things about this place...................
Had a great time .Lots of things to do everybody was friendly and helpful .We will de back
We love staying at the Dunes! We have been coming for a month every winter. It has easy access to the beach & the indoor water park is a MUST in the winter! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else!!
Everyone From the time I Walk in till the time I left. Staff was so helpful and always ask do you need help , or anything you need let me know..
This is a lovely place with lots of amenities.
Had a great time. Can't wait to come back.
Had a great time. Can't wait to come back. Would recommend to my friends and family.
My family and I spent 5 days. We loved the pool and great access to beach. The waterpark is part of hotel which makes it great for kids. Kids of all ages would love. The waterpark is fun because you can go all day, or for a few hrs then rest and go again. Theres breakfast buffet and they start serving early.
This was the 3rd time that I have stayed here. Each time, it has been better than the previous times...and the previous times were all awesome! Love the location...right on the beach! The rooms were perfectly suited for us and the number of people in my party, from four to just me! Beds were very comfortable. The kitchens were stocked with everything that was needed for cooking. The rooms were clean and up to date. One feature of the Dunes, which meant a lot to me, was the employees. All were pleasant, smiling, professional and wanted to make our stay special. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
I love that this place had big rooms well cleaned and nice! It was really a home away from home.
Great place to stay on your own or with your family lots to do, beach is fantastic close to restaurants and attractions!
Dunes Village Resort is awesome! We have stayed at this hotel 3 times and keep coming back because of the accommodations, customer service, and amenities. This time they really stepped it up with respect to customer service and the room we had with supersize balcony was a great experience.
My family and I stayed here for a week. We loved how close to everything, but still far away the loud noises from every place else. The rooms are very spacious. This is our 2nd tome staying here the first time we had a studio room this time we had a 2 bedroom condo with ocean front views. The house keeping is wonderful, and everyone we talked to was very nice.
My husband and myself love this place. Great location, great staff, great food, and oceanfront rooms. I e love became we are newlyweds so this will be our tradition always Myrtle Beach
The Dunes Village Resort is a very nice hotel that has all the amenities you need. Its right on the beach and all rooms are oceanfront and updated. It even has a restaurant right on site. No complaints other than parking being across the street. We had the best time ever!!
Beautiful
We have stayed at the Dunes several times and always enjoy our stay. Already booked again in November. King studio rooms great for couples.
Awesome place to stay very family oriented. Very clean, staff was very good, friendly, helpful great place to stay.
We had a wonderful vacation this year at the Dunes. Cari, the manager made sure all was well and went off without a hitch. First time since we started going. Yay!!!!!
We stayed at Dunes Village in May 2017. It was a great resort at an excellent price. We played putt putt and did a ton of shopping (there's every store you could wish for in Mrytle beach!). Our favorite thing we did was Ripley' s Aquarium. Both our 3 year old and 6 month old thoroughly enjoyed it. The beaches were beautiful and not too crowded. 10 out of 10 will recommend a family vacation to Myrtle beach, SC!
I loved it! The room was ocean front and had everything we needed to make us comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we had questions. I would definitely stay again!
perfect place to relax
Lots of fun clean, nice staff. Going back in the weeks!!!
My daughter and Son in-law and their family took me to the dunes for some R&R after the sudden lost of my husband. There was 6 in our part and the rooms are very spacious . There is so much to do at the Dunes with the indoor water park ,lots of games like pool, Ping pong, shuffle board and many more games to do. What is most important was we were safe no matter where we were inside and out! The Dunes offered a peace of mind as we played and had much RR .Its a Great to be.
Clean, ouiet relaxing and the staff were great it's a nice place to stay the only thing I did not like was the tv they need better channels
We have stayed at Dunes several times and always come back. Great place for kids and adults. Food is great. Rooms are clean. Waterparks are great as well. We will be back around Thanksgiving and can't wait!
Everything you could want is here at the hotel, great pools, great food, beach just out back. We have been home 2 weeks and already planning on coming back. Many different room styles to chose from for any budget. Love using myrtlebeach.com to look for great hotels, they brought me here and cannot thank them enough!!
We have been to the dunes village resort two years in a row and plan i plan on making it a family tradition. I live in nj and my son and his family in NC. I arranged a vacation here mainly because of the indoor waterpark for his daughter. Rain or shine i knew she would have a great time and i wasnt wrong. The location is great being right on the beach and close to Broadway on the Beach which has many resturants, shops and rides for the little one. With so many things to do why would i stay anywhere else? Perfect !!
We visited during the grandkids fall break from school and had a wonderful time. Staff was always kind and helpful. We loved our accommodations with the oceanfront view. Dunes Village Resort is outstanding with all the things for kids to do and all the indoor waterpark entertainment makes for a great trip no matter what the weather or temperatures. This area of Myrtle Beach is more preferable for our family with younger kids because it is less congested. Myrtle Beach has so many things to offer and we took in as many as we could in the short time we were there. We had such a great time my husband and I returned in a couple of weeks to enjoy again this time more relaxing just enjoying the beach and dining opportunities.
We love dunes village resort we stay there every year we love everything about it
The dunes was an incredible resort to stay at. My kids loved the waterpark and indoor pools.
The Dunes Village Resort is our favorite hotel. It is clean, run professionally, reasonably priced, and the grounds are the best.
Loved loved this hotel. Staff are always nice and friendly. My daughter loves the activities they do each day for the kids. The indoor water parks for kids are awesome. Will definitely stay here again!!
Love Dunes Village have been going there for the past 10-15 yrs, can't imagine staying anywhere else. Great accommodations, valet service, rooms are excellent and staff friendly. Love the water attractions and my now teenagers don't care to stay anywhere else.
Of many trips and even living a short stent in Myrtle Beach The Dunes by far is #1. Planning our second trip in April. Again it will be a surprise for my daughter. Her birthday is 4/11 and coincides with Spring Break fr school. Can't wait!!! See you soon!!!
The hotel was clean and everyone was friendly. The indoor waterpark was great. The weather did not cooperate during our visit but we were still able to enjoy time in the water because of the expansive indoor facilities.
The staff is great, the accomodations are the very best for family's and it is very safe and clean. Everything you need is right there. Can't get enough of the 2 indoor waterparks!
Stayed at Dunes Village Resort for the second year in a row...its our new favorite! The staff is always so polite, courteous and pleasant. Always smiling and greeting guests. We had an amazing room with a breathtaking view. We booked it at the right time on the right website so the rate was unbelievable. Planning on returning the MB this summer and will definitely consider this Dunes Village Resort while making arrangements. If you do book an oceanfront room, ask for one on floor 4 or above. Otherwise it might be a poolfront view instead.
The Dunes is always a wonderful place to stay. The staff are always helpful & nice plus rooms are very clean.
We found Dunes Village Resort a few years ago and haven't stayed at another resort since. They have an indoor water park that has thoroughly enchanted our entire family, including our two young children. Dunes is located right next to the beach. The rooms are clean and spacious. However, above all, their customer service and amiability is the most successful accompaniment to a perfect resort. I highly recommend Dunes Village Resort!
Even though it was cold outside, our family found so much to do. The kids loved the water park and our suite was beautiful! We can't wait to go back again!
Dunes Village Resort was very clean, staff was friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone interested in a trip to myrtle beach. Rooms are very nice and spacious.
The Dunes Village Resort is an awesome place to stay! Activities to kids, two indoor water parks and the rooms and incredible! The staff goes up and beyond
We've stayed here for the past three years and love where the resort is located. Love being on the beach and away from the downtown. The landscaping is so pretty with all the flowers. There are many things to do at the resort if the weather isn't the greatest. There is a nice yard so you can relax in the sun with a drink from the Tiki Bar and listen to the live entertainment on the weekends. They also have volleyball, tennis courts and putt putt golf. We just recently started going to the breakfast buffet which is absolutely wonderful and fast. The staff are very friendly and Sean, one of the servers, remembered us from the year previously. Never have had a bad stay.
The accomodations were wonderful. Restaurant right there, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beach front accomodations. Lazy river, pool. Everything that I was looking for.
Dunes village is absolutely the best place to stay if you have kids! There are so many things for the kids to with all of the pools, water parks, volleyball, and even a playground! It's a good mix for the kids AND having mommy and daddy time all right there in one place. The staff is always so friendly and ready to help. And they keep it very clean! We love it so much we hope to one day be able to buy one of the units!
loved it.We stayed bottom level beside the indoor restaurant. Our deck opened up to the pool. We could lay our towels out early and while we were at the pool we could leave our refreshments on our deck and reach them any time. Our room had everything we needed and if we ran out of something the staff was very helpful. it was wonderful!
All the accommodations were exceptional, a little over priced for two quests. All the staff were very friendly.
Received an upgrade upon arrival that was a pleasant surprise. Rooms are always clean and staff always friendly and accomodating.
I am so ready to return to Dunes Village. Amazing staff and amazing accommodations & features here. We were hooked on the indoor waterparks and pools.
At the Dunes the room was perfect. Very clean and the housing staff were very nice. The front desk were very accommodating with our luggage since we got there before check-in.
Property was clean, service was amazing, beautiful view for our family getaway
as a first timer, this hotel was perfect. beach is great, food and pool bar excellent, and was close enough to everything. would definitely stay here again.
My family and I stayed at Dunes Village Resort on our first trip to MB in Oct.,and couldn't have been more satisfied.Beautiful, clean and spacious rooms, fantastic amenities and staff,I highly recommend this resort.
First trip to myrtle beach and it was everything we thought it would be and much more.
Dunes Village resort was wonderful. The activities they have for the kids are great, rooms were clean, pool was clean, and staff was extremely helpful with everything we needed. It is also nice to have restaurants on site, a nice gift shop, computers handy, and a Starbucks on location. The kids had a great time at the indoor water park and the number of slides and pools here kept them entertained the entire time we were there.
This has been several stays for me and it was great! It was my step-mom first and she had the most wonderful time, can not wait to go back.
One of the best vacation, we was in the Palms building, the service was the best. The food was great.
Excellent family hotel!
This is our 2nd stay at Dunes and we would go back in a heartbeat! The location is wonderful, the rooms are well appointed and clean and the staff is amazing. The on site amenities guarantee there isn't a better spot to stay in North Beach.
LOVE THE ROOM AND SERVICE. VERY CLEAN
I loved the fresh coffee downstairs! It was a great place for little kids. The rooms were really nice and clean.
It was very relaxing and clean. The staff was very nice and it was a peaceful place to stay.
Dunes Village is our favorite place to stay. The service is excellent. WE absolutely love the indoor waterparks and one year we got free breakfast with our stay and the food was fabulous. The slides are so much fun. We also like the fact that the parking garage is completely contained. The security is great. My son also likes the golf cart that will take you back and forth to the parking garage. The rooms are beautiful and very up to date.
Room was nice and clean, layout was great and the area in and around the pool was nice and clean. I would definitely stay there again.
We loved Dunes Village. Great accomdations, fun and so nice to be right on the beach!! We loved all the kids activities and felt like they really catered to families. We would love to go back!!
Excellent place to stay, very clean everything was perfect!
Excellent place to stay, very clean everything was perfect. I rate it a 5.
Great place.

We loved dunes village, staff was very accommodating. The indoor waterpark was great. We will stay at dunes village again.
Stay there twice a year. Love it. Great for the kids
We love it here this is the third year that we have stayed here it has all that you need right on the grounds
We've stayed there on several occasions. Always a great time.
Loved, loved, LOVED it there!!!! We were married in Myrtle Beach in 1996. Went back with our children to celebrate our 12th Anniversary and stayed at Dunes Village. The staff was fantastic. The rooms were clean & fabulous for a family - because we had a washer & dryer in our room as well as a kitchen. Spacious. The kids loved the waterpark & mostly playing on the beach. The kids said: "This place is better than Disney!!!" I would definitely rate this a 5/5..!!! Hoping to go back some day....
It's where we have always stayed! Even when I was a teenager. Always enjoyed it!
We stay a lot during winter. Very cllean good service & food. Alsome inside pools & slides
We stayed here in October and LOVED it! Our family met in the middle. We came from Florida and the rest came from Canada. We had a blast! The service was fantastic, the breakfast buffet was delicious and the concierge was awesome and got us a great deal on a couple places. We would definitely go back!
Here now makes 7 or 8 times. Will not stay anywhere else! Awesome!
Absolutely loved this place and will be returning in 20 days!
Stayed there about 5 yrs ago ....definitely a 5!!! Rooms are very nice, service was excellent, plenty of parking .....very quiet! Need that right now!
We have a wonderful stay. Clean rooms and great pools and activities. I have gone there for 3 yrs. Highly recommend.
Very clean, great hospitality. the pools are wonderful! we will be there again in a couple of weeks!
I stayed there twice and absolutely loved it. My sister stayed at the Time Share and loved it as well.
WOW... just when I thought my expectations from my previous visit could not be surpassed, once more they were. We checked in Saturday night, October 13 2012 for 7 nights. When we got to the room, we noticed that the door had hit the wall prior to us coming in and managed to knock a hole in the drywall; there was a tile knocked off from the baseboard behind the door; and the bathroom door had a bit of damage to the bottom. I reported them to the desk and the next day I took some photos and stopped at the desk. I spoke with the Manager, Adam (not that these were show-stoppers by any means) and he promised they would be resolved by the end of the day. My wife and left to go to church and when we came back, we found they had indeed been addressed. Adam and the Food and Beverage manager ran into me as I was heading down to the Captains Cafe for a drink; and Adam inquired about the repairs. I let him know they had been completed as he said they would be and he thanked me. We chatted a few more times during our stay as he ran into me running about the resort. We never had a single problem with housekeeping; my wife and I are not messy people anyway, so there was actually very little for them to do in our rooms, but it was always done when we were away and they never knocked or called when we had the 'Privacy' card in the lock; as I've experienced other places. They did a make-over on day four, like the brochure says they do, no problem there either. The pools were great, the one in front of the Palmetto Tower is not heated and is chilly, but then this is October and night air temps were in the low 50's all week we were there; and I think colder with some rain the week before. Both the Lazy River and the Pool by the Palms Tower are heated, as are the indoor pools. I'm not a big ocean swimmer, but I did get my feet wet searching for Sand Fleas and shells on the beach and it would have been warm enough to get in and swim if you want. Many people were. Love the cozy bar in the resort too. Drink prices are comparable to what I pay where I live; so you're not being charged a premium because this is a 'resort'. All-in-All, this was another great week at Dunes Village. My wife and I won't stay anywhere else. Dunes Village gets a '5' from us. This was our third visit and it did not disappoint us. We will be back in the fall.
We had a wonderful time there. Clean rooms.Great pools and activities. I have stayed there for 3 years. Highly recommended.
We stayed at Dunes Village this past weekend and we loved it. We've been going to Myrtle Beach for many years and this is the best place we've stayed at so far.
Yes last year and will be back in 20 days yay love it the kids had so much fun in the indoor water park i rate it a 5 but i would really give it a 10!
Property was wonderful. Staff was very accommodating for my son in a wheelchair with special needs
Excellent accomodations with a beautiful oceanfront view! We stayed in a very clean king studio on the 6th floor.Unit had a well stocked kitchen. There were even 2 tv's. Bed was extremely comfortable, and all of the hotel staff could not have been friendlier!
Hotel was very clean and I felt safe and secure being here.
We loved this hotel. Condo was amazing - so much space, clean and great view of beach. The best part was there was so much for our 5 and 7 year old to do! Daily activities, water parks, mini putt etc. made each day exciting for them. We had no issues with hotel - staff was very friendly and helpful at all times.
As I stated above my daughter and her family enjoyed a stay fit for a king. Clean and what a view. For our first trip we found the area captivating. Great vacation.
This was our second visit to Dunes Village Resort and it was just as amazing the second time as it was the first. A clean room is always the most important and Dunes Village rooms are impecable. The staff is over the top helpful and you have to take advantage of the breakfast in the morning. The hot and cold food is the best, and the attendants go out of their way to make it perfect. When you are done everything during the day, you can go to the amazing waterpark to end your day. Since we discovered Dunes Village we wont stay anywhere else.
Title says it all! Lots to do, You never have to leave the resort! Between the two water parks the 3 outside heated pools, Mini golf anyone, oh what about a movie on the beach? Hot tubs, volleyball, playground, childrens activities so mom and dad can get a break once a day! There is so much more, But you'll just have to see for yourself! =0)
We always have a great time at the dunes. My son always has a blast in the water park
We have been to Dunes Village three times. We love it! The restaurants and water parks are a little dated but it is a wonderful place to take your family! We love that it is not in the middle of everything but close enough to the action.
It was a great place to get away for tge weekend. Indoor waterpark and quick access to beach.
We met family from Virginia for a weekend getaway, and family fun. This resort was awesome. Except for one area which I will tell last. The rooms were great, we were in one building and the other group was in another building. Both were clean and had ample room for all. Towels and toiletries were good. The playground was loved by the kids, the pools and the lazy river and all the play areas for swimming for the kids was wonderful. We ate at the only restaurant open onsite the bad thing was they lied about the shrimp. Food was good though. The BAD THING WAS THE MIDDLE RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED AND THE EXIT TO THE OUTSIDE WAS CLOSED OFF FROM THIS RESTAURANT WHICH WAS AGGRAVATING. THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A GOOD RESTAURANT TO EAT AT TOO! We will go again because we did enjoy everything there.
Love the view and closeness of the beach.
We always stay at the Dunes Village Resort during winter break.always have a great time
I liked the indoor water park anf free mini golf. Rooms were big
I enjoyed my stay at the Dunes. It was clean, had plenty of towels. Staff was polite, minimum staff because it was Christmas holiday. Very pleased and will stay again.
We have stayed here for the last 10 years. It is the best family Resort at Myrtle Beach. But I will say that it's time for an upgrade and some new renovations.
We loved our stay at Dunes Village at myrtle beach, my kids had so much fun at the indoor water slides while the adults relaxed in the hot tub. The beach is nice and clean too! Will be going back again soon!
The kids love the indoor park fun during the Winter!!! We loved it as well!!
I had a wonderful stay. The best part was the Pavilion. I got to spend time with my family especially the grandkids.
Friendly and helpful staff. They should interest in how things were going and how they could improve our stay.
We loved this place! We stayed for 2 nights during the week and got a fantastic deal. It was so much fun watching the kids at the waterpark. The staff was great and very attentive. The rooms are lovely. Our bathroom had a few issues, but maintenance staff responded promptly.
Hotel room was clean and spacious. Indoor water park fun for kids in the winter! Especially, visiting from cold New Jersey.
I had not been anywhere in 17 years. I have a handicapped child and had not had the means to take a trip. She had never been to the beach. My grown children had been there the year before and they loved it. My grandson enjoyed all the water attractions. They decided to take my daughter and me to the same place. The rooms were clean and the people were wonderful. We did not want cleaning service everyday because it would have disrupted the things we had in place to care for my daughter. The attendant was very nice. She always asked if we needed anything and saw that we got it.We enjoyed seeing all of the attractions at the beach.I would say that the only problem we had was the handicapped accessibility. When we wanted to go to the pool we had to walk all around the building. There are steps from one area to the next. I understand that if you are young it poses no problem. I am 65 and had to push my daughter all over the place. I know these hotels have some age on them. It is a beautiful place to stay. It is very clean.I have terrible knees and walking is a chore. I hope they will take into consideration making these hotels more accessible. We thought we could go through one of the restaurants because it was at the pool. They had several steps to the pool area. Loved all the things for the kids. We will probably stay there again.I would imagine that all the older hotels have a problem getting the handicapped problems up to code.I will say that the entire staff was friendly and helpful. Thank You
This is our 5th year staying at the Dunes Village Resort and overall the experience was good. There were a few minor problems, but they either rectified them immediately or have since reached out to me and guaranteed the issues will not happen on our next visit. They seem to truly care about everyone having a positive experience and we have always been greeted with a smile from every employee of the Dunes Village Resort!
We stayed from May 15 - 22, 2016 in an Ocean Front Queen Suite in the Palmetto building, which is actually a one bedroom condo. The suite had plenty of space and sleeping area, 2 queen beds in the bedroom, a double murphy bed and pull out couch in the living room. One of the benefits to the suite is that it had a washer and dryer in the suite which helped keep my daughter in clean and dry bathing suits. It was Harley week and there were many bikers on the main strip, causing us to leave the original resort we had booked on the board walk due to the noise of bikers cruising down the strip late into the night and interupting our sleep. This was not a problem at Dunes village, and if we didn't leave the hotel you wouldn't have even known there was a bike rally on. The staff are all super friendly and the starbucks on site provided a excellent start to each morning. We had a few days of bad weather, but with the indoor water park and pools that didn't stop my daughter from swimming. The parking garage across the street was great for keeping our car covered and cool any time we wanted to step out for dinner and shopping. Even though the resort is not onthe boardwalk, it is centrally located putting you within a 10 minute drive of many good restaurants and the major Myrtle Beach outlet malls and family entertainment centres. Also nearby is a nice Aligator zoo which is a great spot to kill half a day with the kids. The only issue that I had is with the wifi, it worked quit well the first few days, but as we neared the second weekend and more people arrived we were not able to access the wifi at all
Very friendly and pleasant hotel!! Nice room, delicious breakfasts with the ocean view!! I love it!
the staff was good, room was clean, good view of the ocean I think breakfast should be included in your stay.
The hotel is very kid friendly and everyone was so nice
our room was a one bedroom studio which was very clean. the staff was super friendly and helpful in keeping our group of friends together as we were having a mini reunion with our friends that we made when we all adopted our daughters from China. the waterpark was perfect for the girls and the parents. it is not the newest or shiniest of hotels but it was clean and friendly
We have been to this hotel several times in the last couple of years. We have never had a problem with cleanliness, or friendliness at this hotel. It is always nice to have a oceanview room but prefer oceanfront. Love being able to have the option as to cook or go out to eat. and having a washer and dryer in the unit is a bonus. We have brought our children and grandchildren with us several times. If not for the exchange rate would be there again this year. I one thing I love about the beach is being able to relax and enjoy life. Having their waterslides and pools inside with the ability to open the doors and have a ocean breeze while swimming is wonderful. The weather has not ever ruined our vacations because of this. We have done a lot of the attractions and now go to relax and find new adventures.
very nice ...alot of indoor fun in pool area .very clean ..
Sweet an helpful staff nice clean room's.. Lovely stay!
Great hotel, tons of fun things to do, beautiful rooms and beautiful ocean view.
The hotel and room was nice! The only thing my husband and I didn't like was our room was right above rooms that had an extended balcony, the people below would stair up at us and it was not private at all and plus they were right there in our eye view and it was not relaxing ! Not worth the money!
It was cold. We loved our room. Did have small issues with a couple of staff about construction.
Decent hotel with plenty of activities for the kids
Employees were friendly and the room was fine, not amazing. Good deal for the price and we would return.
Very nice hotel. Very kid friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. Would recommend.
Very kid friendly! Lots of activities to stay busy!
Very nice hotel and water park which was great for kids as the weather unfortunately didn't cooperate. Very enjoyable time and accommodations were spacious.
Nice room, lots of amenities. Loved the location
The stay was great. Very comfortable bed. I think they need to lay off on the perfume sprays or whatever it is in the hallway. My husband has allergies and this really messed him up and put a damper on things
The hotel and the workers there were amazing! The staff were all very friendly. All the kids activities were amazing! We really enjoyed all the different pools and water activities that were offered. Our only dissatisfaction was the quality of the actual hotel room.
My stay their was fantastic especially since I had my 3 kids with me and they have a great indoor water park. I picked this week because I wanted my kids to see the air show which was cancelled - major, major disappointment.
We took a family vacation. We love the amentities they offer.Love the waterpark. Staff very helpful. Property seem to be well taken care of.
I give it a 4 only because our rooms toilet was not working properly but they switched our room
We had a great time as usual. We were disappointed that our belongs were taken from the waterpark(children's orthotic sandals and new woman's jacket). We are looking forward to returning for March break.
We have stayed here on three occasions.Having the indoor water park has been a plus during the cooler weather.
I have stayed there 2 times with my daughter and grand daughters and the place is superb! Water fun, ocean front and convenient to EVERYTHING!
We have stayed at THE DUNES VILLAGE twice already and can't wait to go back. The rooms are clean and roomy also. They have an indoor waterpark that my kids just love. Everyday they have some sort of kids activity going on like chocolate bingo, face painting, sea shell picture frames and so on. The hotel is also oceanfront. The best news is we have never had a problem.
We have stayed there the last four years. Love the place. Great for kids and for teens (we have both). The condos are clean and very well equipped. Far enough from the craziness but close enough to all the fun! My one and only complaint is that the prices have gone up every year..if this continues we may have to look else where
My husband and I were at Dunes Village last September and loved it. This year we will be back with 2 of our grown children and their spouses and our 2 yr old granddaughter. She will love the waterpark and playground and we all will enjoy all of it with her.
Had a blast there last year, stayed with 3 kids and they all loved the water parks and all the kid friendly activities!!
We stay at the Dunes Village every year we visit Myrtle. Indoor waterpark is awesome for the kids. Also daily activities and crafts for the kids help entertain them. The condos are beautiful and very clean. The Tiki Bar is great for the adults !!!!
Dunes Village Resort the BEST place in Myrtle Beach!!!! Going back in September and can't wait!!!!
Just okHIGHLAND HEIGHTS
Very Clean Rooms/Beautiful View of ocean/Very friendly Staff
We were expecting the 4 bedroom suite to be more updated for the price. Old carpet, outdated furniture but otherwise was clean. The indoor water parks were lots of fun for the kids. Water slides were fun. We did see a little brown rusty foam floating in the hot tub. fun family resort but if you're looking for swanky this isn't it.
very nice.family friendly.
Okay at best. Too,crowed, better places to stay for, vacation.
The hotel was nice. I particularly loved sitting out on the balcony, listening to the waves, and reading my books (and drinking wine)!
Hotel was clean and providing everything needed for a great stay. Staff was very friendly and eager to help.
I stayed at Dunes Village Resort. I picked this hotel for the "indoor waterpark". I have a 6 year old and thought if the weather was bad this hotel would be perfect. I was wrong...What the hotel did not tell me was that the windows were not in the water park. We had weather in the low 60's and 70's and the breeze coming in through the water park/ pools made it almost unbearable to get in. Dunes village did not have even a true indoor pool. Also, about half way through our stay we had a water leak in our room from the roof.
The stay was very nice. Housekeeping left s little to be desired.. They didn't come everyday. Otherwise it was pretty clean and in a great location. We would stay again.
I did not like the Resort. Stayed there three different times.
great location but needs all new rooms
