Grande Shores

we had originally planned to go but the hurricane changed our date to October. I was pleased with how the hotel staff contacted me before storm and gave options as to what to do. I was surprised at how everything was clean and repaired as if nothing had happened. the weather was great and warm for this time of year .I love being able to park on same level as room. room was clean, staff was friendly and stayed in contact by text for any need. I really like that. oceanfront view of sunrise, sunsets was spectacular. food was good also. we had a great time.

I have stayed at the Grande Shores several times and every time has been a great experience. I have stayed there with large groups as well as romantic weekend for two and each experience is different. I am giving a 5 star rating for the experience. Too be honest the resort physically is not 5 stars but the front desk, housekeeping and all employees are always helpful and friendly. The grounds are great for hanging out. With all the Myrtle Beach Area has to offer you can do as little or as much as you want while you are there. I recommend to everyone!!!

Grande Shores had cozy beds, oceanfront, great pools/jacuzzi's, a great location, & my kids love their two room suite did two tv's, & 4 queen beds. Definitely going again!!

Loved my stay at myrtle beach Grande Shores resort. My husband took me to myrtle Beach for my birthday weekend. I loved it. The area still has lots of attractions even in winter. People should really try it, maybe no swimming but great stuff to do. nice!

We came down to get married and stayed here for our pre and post honeymoon. Everyone was so nice and friendly. We are planning to return soon.

We enjoyed walking on the beaches, hotel stay and all the different shops that we visited. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Stayed in a three bedroom condo with my sister in law and our three teenage daughters. We all had a blast, enjoyed the roof top pool area. Went to some shows,and drove the "strip" every night. Broadway at the Beach every day or night. Are at several restaurants at "Broadway", but our favorite place to eat was "Pier 14". We stayed at several other Condos on the beach, Breaker's and others.

I'm off 3 days a Myrtle Beach was the best of 2018 I will be coming back soon

We had an amazing girls trip to our favorite destination, MYRTLE BEACH, for my birthday. All my best friends were there for shipping, watching football game at our usual sports bar, grocery shopping, dining out, and drinks galore! Always pleased with the beautiful sunrise on the beach. Can’t wait to come back real soon!!!!

From the moment you check in you realize that you are a valued guest. They make sure your room is perfect and they keep it that way. The pool, hot tubs and bar are a blast. Then there is the terrific breakfast staff! We are already booked for this coming spring!

Great hotel. Large rooms which were well appointed and quite. I was relaxed and loved the beach. Go visit and enjoy all that sunshine.

The rooms were perfect and very clean. My kids loved the view and Alligator Adventures.

We call our selves Beach Buddies. Every year a group of women come to Myrtle Beach and Grande Shores to just relax and have a fun time. We just returned home on Monday, Sept. 18, from another girl bonding and hated to leave. Grande Shores is our favorite place to stay. We always stay on the 7th floor in a condo. It is so convenient and the view is beautiful. We loved Chuck's and breakfast at Paula Deens was wonderful. We always visit Ocean Annie's and will be back next year. Claremont

Ocean shores is a great resort close to restaurants, grocery stores, and major attractions. The rooms are recently remodeled, and there are multiple pools, hot tubs, and to lazy rivers to relax in. Efficient and condos are available, and the prices are very reasonable. I visit every year! Just love the ocean front balcony rooms.

The Grande Shores is one of my favorite places to stay in Myrtle Beach. The staff is great and the rooms are wonderful! It's right on the beach which makes it easy to carry my beach equipment for the day! My wife and I stay here every time we travel to Myrtle Beach and cannot wait for our next trip!

The room was really nice. Clean ! Awesome view of the ocean ! The staff were friendly. We had a problem with check in. They stated our room could be ready by noon. We went grocery shopping and we're back by noon and they delayed us the room another 2-3 hours ! Other than that it was a wonderful stay in a nice, clean condo room !

Have stayed at Grand shores resort twice a year for the last 3 yrs. Great value, friendly staff, great food, excellent small bar, great atmosphere very relaxing.

Our stay at Grand Shores Resort was fantastic! It was freezing there at the time, but the resort made all the difference! The front desk personnel was friendly and very helpful! The room was comfortable and very clean. Our balcony had a perfect view of the ocean and was very private. We also ate at the on site restaurant. The service was great, the prices perfect. We will definitely be staying at Grand Shores again!

I love going to Myrtle Beach!! Love Grande Shores.....dining out...watching the shows....relaxing on the beach...sand in my toes....fighting the ocean waves!!

The best thing about Grande Shores is the location, with a small beach community just north of the hotel, there is always plenty of room on the beach. It is also quite peaceful there, we have visited several times and it is usually quiet and restful. Although it is not the fanciest resort in Myrtle Beach, all areas of the hotel are inviting and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly and being beachfront is always a plus.

Always Grande. We are regular visitors to the Grande Strand and Grande Shores/sister properties. The Grande Shores is an awesome resort that consistently is remodeling and updating the property with excellent upkeep. If we ever have an issue it is always addressed immediately. We receive great customer service and always enjoy our stay.

Me and a friend stayed overnight just as a get away and it was really a beautiful stay, the hotel was clean, the service desk was prompt with our check-in, the assistant at hospitality desk was just charming gave us information about places to visit being both of us was single ladies...Dinner at Carrabus was so Goooood. will be visiting to do Christmas shopping and hoping we will have another grand time.

Wonderful stay at great resort

Me, my girlfriend, and our four kids combined, went to Myrtle for a soccer tournament. The hotel was very nice, especially with all the pools to choose from. Rooms and eating establishments nice and clean. My only "complaint" would be that, for the price of the breakfast buffet, could use more to choose from.

One of the nice things about Grand Shores Resort is that it's quiet cuz it is north of the main drag. They have two nice lazy rivers and several pools and hot tubs, as well as heated indoor pool and hot tub. The efficiency apartments are well stocked with what you need for a several day stay. The beach area is clean and nice. Breakfast buffet is available, and quite extensive. The staff is friendly and helpful. I stay here often, and definitely will return. Great prices, too, especially in the off season.

We were there in October just for a few days but really enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is good needs a good painting on the outside and there was no buffet because it was seasonal which they don't say on their site. The restaurant is ok but could be better. We are going back this December for our Christmas present to each other. Can't wait.

Relaxing, wonderful time. So ready to go back.

My family and I really enjoyed Myrtle Beach and our stay at the Grande Shores Hotel. I just wish there was a microwave in the room to heat up food. Other than that, it was a good stay.

Love staying at Grand Shores. Have always stayed in the ocean front rooms. Nothing better than enjoying your morning coffee out on the balcony. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.

I really loved being right on the beach. Walked everyday on the beach. Frollicked in the ocean with my daughter, grandson and a friend. Thought about moving to North Mrytle Beach area.

My first time visit to Myrtle Beach was really good....people were very friendly and helpful....and I had an ocean view for which I fell in love with...my reason for visiting the area was because I am planning on making a move to Myrtle Beach sometime this summer.

our stay at the Grand Shores was a great time. Accommodations were good and there was plenty to do. We had our choice of 3 pools and we were right on the ocean.

We enjoyed our stay. The pool, Jacuzzi, and lazy river on the top of the 7th floor was amazing! The only problem that we encountered is that the maid never changed our towels, trash, or tissue. This was reported to the desk.

Assigned room above hotel pool. Was accommodating after request to move to a higher floor. Enjoyed stay at Grand Shores.

I've stayed there last year for my 1st Spring Break Vacation (March 2012). Even though, the rooms were a lil' dated, it still was a nice hotel overall. The rooms were clean, nice, & spacious. I would stay there, again. Parking's really not all that good, at least I don't have to park anywhere above the ground floor, unless it's completely full. One night (the only night that I couldn't find a park at ground floor), I had to drive up 4 floors up to find a parking space. Also, I've gotten a Poolside view for only $35/night, stayed for 2 nights, & you couldn't beat that.

We stayed last summer for the first time in a 3 bedroom 2 bath condo with another family. There was plenty of space and everything was nice and modern and clean. Prices were reasonable and the location was very close to just about everything, we really liked all of the pools and hot tubs and walking right on the beach! Parking was annoying, garage really small and sometimes crowded.

We have stayed here 3-4 times over the years. The 2 bedroom condo we were in was spacious and clean, it was large enough to actually live in! the efficiency condos were nice as well with a great ocean front view. its in a great section of MB, close to everything.

We have stayed two years in a row in the beach view 3 bedroom condo. This past may (2013) there were several upgrades to the unit. You could run the washer and dryer units at the same time and there were child locks on the sliding balcony doors as well as new TVs and paint and furniture. Very affordable rates. The paring garage is very tight for larger SUVs like suburbans but they will fit.

I love this hotel due to location . It's located next to a residential section. The staff have always handled our request promptly. Love the fact pool area has a sunbathing section with grass. A indoor pool , lazy river that are a win for the kids. Also a grill shop that you can purchase snacks & drinks right at the pool.

We really enjoyed our trip as always!!! Weather was perfect, nice area that we stayed in this time.

the food at the hotel was gross and overpriced. traffic was terrible. My new car broke down and we had to be towed to a dealership which were rude. hotel was noisey at night.

We have stayed at this hotel for 12 years. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean but not the cleanest I have ever stayed in. . We stay at Grande Shores because its reasonable and you get a lot for what you pay. I have checked with other hotels hoping to fins something compareable to them but found nothing. There is lots of things for my grandson to do and it's right on the beach

My family and I stayed there once! We were supposed to stay there the whole weekend, but after one night of screaming people in the next room all night we asked for our money back. We not only had a issue with the noise the room smelled and was just NOT how they made it sound. I hate to sound so harsh about this place, but you wanted our honest opinion. We got our money back from them and found a much nicer place to stay.I can not reccomend this place.I can only give this place a rating of 1 and that's being generous.
