Location, location, location!
Positioned within the very popular “Avenues” neighborhood, adjacent to the upscale Grande Dunes residential areas, Horizon at 77th is the resort discriminating travelers pick first. And they return year after year.
Family friendly, and removed from the frenetic energy of downtown Myrtle Beach, yet still close enough to visit, Horizon at 77th attempts (and succeeds) to offer a tranquil, less crowded beach experience, while still being centrally located.
Just 10 to 15 minutes south on beautiful Ocean Blvd., you’ll be in the heart of downtown Myrtle Beach. Ten to fifteen minutes north and you’re at the Myrtle Beach Mall and its shopping and 12-screen movie theater, and live improve comedy theater, Uptown! A few minutes further and you’ve arrived at Barefoot Landing with the Alabama Theatre, Greg Norman’s Australian Grille, and the House of Blues. Even closer, at just two-three minutes away, the revered Carolina Opry and Pirates Voyage theaters stand at the ready, as does the Atlantic Stage at 79th Ave., Myrtle Beach’s only professional actors’ playhouse.
So we know about the great location, but what about the resort?
A sleek, modern resort (opened in 2008), Horizon at 77th is unmatched in style, comfort and amenities. Within your one, two or three bedroom fully appointed condo, slide open your balcony door and hear the waves, not the traffic. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises from the rooms’ northeastern viewing angle over the Atlantic Ocean. Here the concrete and steel of the urban sections of Myrtle Beach are replaced by tree-lined streets, beautifully manicured lawns, multi-million dollar oceanfront homes, and a much slower pace.
Here locals buzz around in golf carts and share the beach. 77th Ave N. is their secret we’re now sharing with you.
