We are from Trenton New Jersey and we have family that lives in Myrtle Beach. We go to visit at least once a year and we either stay at Hotel Blue or Captain's Quarters and we always have a beautiful stay, the rooms are kept clean, daily housekeeping and always a friendly staff. The only thing that we recently had a problem with is the internet and Wi-Fi for our cell phones, but other than that awesome time and thank you so much for that! And also have the convenience of booking with the hotel certain shows that we wanted to see every time and even our breakfast everything added in and so easy and convenient and I don't have to worry about it bill until it's time to leave! But don't worry we'll be coming back to stay again very very soon!

We stayed here in August. The hotel met all of our expectations. We absolutely loved the swim up bar at the pool. Such a fun hotel.

This is an outstanding hotel memories have been made over the years we return every year and it just seems to be getting better. With made memories With loved ones that have passed and to return and remember their presence that' just gives us peace of mind.

Asheboro we had a reservation the weekend of hurricane florence and had to reschedule , the hotel was very helpfull with our requests and arranging tickets for a show and even gave us a 10.00 food credit, they were great and we always like staying there.

Our family stayed in hotel blue over the summer. The room was clean and smelled amazing and the view was beyond beautiful. It was a great place to just relax sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee. The swim up bar was perfect in the evenings after we had been on the beach all day. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They made sure we knew of all the events taking place every night. We will definitely be coming back to hotel blue again this summer and every summer after. This trip was our first trip to myrtle beach and hotel blue made it a trip we will never forget.

It has been several years since we stayed here. But I do remember loving it. It’s one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and would love to stay there this year.

I chose to stay at Hotel Blue because I have previously stayed there before and had a great experience. I seen they had remodeled on my 2nd stay and wanted to see the changes. This was a great, relaxing get away for me. I enjoyed my time there and enjoyed my oceanfront room. This hotel has a swim up pool bar and has a great atmosphere.

AMELIA COURT HOUSE First time in myrtle beach n I had a blast. The motel staff was great. I can't wait to come back in the summer. I came in late fall so it was quite chilly. But I will be back this summer.

My Husband and I have been coming down to hotel Blue, for the past 4 years, 2018 May, we again with be their for Harley bike week, and to celebrate our wedding anniversary for our 5th year, The Staff always very eager to help you, assist you, and the staff at the front desk always gives us the room we request for our wedding anniversary. Me and my family really enjoyed staying at this hotel . My wife enjoys the swim up bar. The children enjoys the pool and the closet of Family Kingdom.

Reservations had been made and when I found out that the room we reserved was smaller than I had hoped, the manager behind the desk very courteously changed our oceanfront room for a larger room to accommodate my two young nieces who wanted more privacy. There was no extra charge and once we saw the L-shaped room with separate baths, TVs, closets, and a kitchen in the middle, we were extremely pleased. My wife, 15 year old son, my two nieces (16 and 18) and I had plenty of room at Hotel Blue and the five of us enjoyed local restaurants, a beach walk, a show, and a helicopter ride during the two night three day stay. I complement the hotel desk staff and the housekeeping staff on providing us a most comfortable stay.

We absolutely love Hotel Blue!! We spent our honeymoon there and loved it! The staff are top notch! I think our favorite thing is the swim up bar in the pool! We won't stay anywhere else!!

I love the oceanfront. The staff was outstanding. Everything was perfect. I actually visited this resort twice in three weeks.

The amount paid for my room and the location of the hotel was perfect.

We had the best time at Hotel Blue at Myrtle Beach! We LOVED the swim up bar, lazy river, and the breakfast package was AMAZING! We just love it at Myrtle beach there is always so much to do there.

You never quite know what to expect in Myrtle Beach with many hotels under renovations, ever changing since the last time you stayed, management changes, etc. Hotel Blue was a refreshing find with all the amenities! Loved the clean rooms, swim up bar, shaded patios with gentle breezes and the most helpful staff. I felt safe as a single mom with 2 girls! We have never gone back to previous hotels until we discovered Hotel Blue!

Hotel is very clean, easy to get to, great staff, the pool is amazing and it has a great view!!

This was my first trip to "the Myrtle" we were worried about reviews we had read about the hotel, but after talking we decided to take a chance...OMG we were so stunned and happy with our room...it was like a little appt., plenty of room, awesome view, the staff were so friendly..and the glorious beach was right outside our door.....can't wait to go again.....

My family of 5 stayed at the Hotel Blue and had a great time. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool was great and the hotel is just a stone's throw to the beach. This hotel is great for young people AND families.

I had weight loss surgery March of this year. We wanted to go to the beach at a reasonable budget and still enjoy some ventures. I wanted to show off my new look after losing over 90 pounds. We stayed at hotel blue and had a great time. I felt relaxed and confident with my new look and the staff was great . Look forward to coming again. Thanks

Great place!!! It is the perfect location on the strand, most everything worth seeing is within an easy walking distance.

I stayed there last summer and Im staying there in July.I think its a great place to stay. The swim up bar is and the lazy river are fun.

My stay at Hotel Blue was great. The room was an ocean front efficiency with newer appliances. Loved the location not far from the boardwalk. I had a rental car, based on location I would recommend this hotel even if I didn't have a car because of the available places not only on Ocean Blvd., but could be walked to on Kings Hwy.

Had an amazing short trip, hotel staff was incredible , food was heavenly , got engaged , honestly myrtle beach feels like a second home! So happy to have such great experiences in my favorite place

THE staff were really nice and helpful,our room was very clean and was cleaned everyday.We love that it was right on the beach.could sit on the balconey and just relax watching the beautiful ocean.Planning on coming back in May 2014.

we have stayed at hotel blue for several years and have always had a good experience. great employees, great location and good parking.

The beds were comfortable and the staff amazing. We got a great deal and had a wonderful time down at the pool bar. You could tell it needed a little spiffing up in the hallways and elevators, but the room was impeccable. Will definitely come to the Blue again!

The first room was a little different than expected, the front desk worker gave us a chance to switch to a bigger room with a side view but we decided to stay where we were because the view was a lot better.

We started out at North Myrtle.but the motel had mold all in our room.so tried 2 other rooms and same thing.had to stay one night.we had already paid for 4 days.but next morning we left north myrtle after calling hotel blue to see if they had any available as it was peak season. Thank god they did.but due to the motel we had already paid for.when refunded it didjusto through right away to our bank.so we had to overdraft just to be able to try and salvage our vacation.i should have just booked for hotel blue anyway.we tried to make best of things.but having no money made it hard to go out to even eat.as fir myrtle beach itself theres no where better to be.

We were really pleased with our room! The appliances looked new and we're clean! The only complaint we had the beds were to low. We loved the in room safe ! The view was awesome! We liked the parking garage, so much more convenient , no worries about crossing the busy street!

Tho the motel could use some sprucing up, the people who worked there from desk to laundry went the extra mile to make our stay very pleasant. The room we had was outside of the swim up bar and very active which I enjoyed. The pool area was kept clean and only a short way from the beach was a big plus. I was happy there.

I have been going to myrtle beach for over 30 years and have stayed in north and south of the area. I prefer the south end near the historical boardwalk and other attractions. Fun for all ages and the greatest seafood around

This was our second stay at Hotel Blue and it was a great experience. The friendly staff and great room made for a great vacation. Love the proximity to the beach, but the pool and swim up bar were a great break when the beach was done.

My stay was very enjoyable and I will recommend this hotel and myrtle beach to family and friends.

Weve stayed at hotel blue for 5 yrs in a row.Differnt ones before that.Love there pool.We love to walk the beach.It is sooo very relaxing.

My Favorite Hotel at MB Easy check-in. They listen to preferences on their reservation website and do their best to accommodate you. Rooms are very clean and new renovated. I recommend this hotel if you are staying South on the Grand Strand. We stay here every time we visit MB. Room Tip: Higher floors = less noise from the pool

First off, I was very impressed with our low rate at this hotel and that's what sealed the deal for us. The staff was always friendly am helpful, the location on the beach was great, the room was large and had everything we needed! The only thing I found annoying was that the pool and outdoor hot tub were always jam packed every night so we didn't spend much time out there. Other than that our stay was fantastic!

My husband and I stayed here in January. When we come to Myrtle with the family for our vacation we always stay at Captains Quarters. Hotel Blue is great for just couples and if Captains Quarters don't have any rooms left. I just wouldn't recommend it for families because of the swim up bar. Overall Hotel Blue was great, it still has hot tubs and lazy river and you have access to everything at Captains Quarters.

Great room and location. Could use some touch ups and better lighting the rooms but it was a great price for decent quality. Loved the pools and lazy river. Very nice staff. I'd definitely go there again.

A little older. It could use some paint and wallpaper in the hallways. But, the room was great! It had more than we needed. It was clean. The price was awesome! What they did not have, you could use/get at Captains. There was parking. Well worth it. I will stay there again.

My daughter and friend and I all agree after staying in Pensacola Beach in September, that we will only go to Myrtle Beach for fun, clean lodging on any shore! Hotel Blue's bars, pools music and rooms are to notch! Thanks!!!

Maybe we had an updated room already but ours was fabulous. Clean, great views and the swim up pool bar is great, it may not have the fun family stuff to offer but like for me and my husband we dont have small kids so we were looking for something like this....its where we've told people to stay and they also said they had a good room. I have read reviews before we stayed and altho many were good, they all said they need updated and we just didnt see it, we loved it. Sure there are better in Myrtle Beach, but theres also MUCH worse, its clean, beds are comfy, our feet didnt turn black walking on the carpet....(yea thats happened other places away from MB), its simple and perfect for us. oh and the best part is its in the heart of the fun stuff We really liked how it was for all ages but didn't cater to mainly kids. We will stay there many more times!

this is our 6 time staying at hotel blue. the price is always right with their discounts. they have a pool bar. the rooms are nothing spectacular but clean. the staff and cleaning service are very friendly and nice. If some thing is in need of fixing or more towels they are are right there to accomadate. they have a parking garage which is great and if you get your room from floors 2-8 you can park right outside your door.

The remodeling is great. The kids activities that they have had in the past are great. The view is wonderful. Good service, clean, and family as well as couples.

I LOVED the outdoor hot tub and pool bar. The hotel had a great view of the ocean and the location was very convenient.

It was a decent stay. However, the staff was not the friendliest. I would stay there again, but it would not be my first choice.

Hotel staff was very friendly. Room was just the right size. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the view from the balcony. Closet was wonderful had room to hang all of our clothes and a place to stow suitcases out of the way.

Hotel staff was very friendly and for that reason I gave an extra star. Hotel wasn't overly clean. Room wasn't always cleaned in a timely manner - sometimes very late in the day, and had to ask for clean towels as they took used ones and forgot to leave clean ones. Hotel is in bad need of updating.

Myrtle Beach is a wonderful fun filled place to visit, for all ages. Such a variety of things to do (shop, eat, relax etc.) The motel I stayed in wasn't exactly the greatest place to stay, nor did it have/offer any good services ( no housekeeping came to our room, indoor lazy river and hot tub dirty, balcony room was off its slide and would not close properly). This particular motel was a different choice than the years before, in a different location than what we were used to staying. Oh well, the overall stay was pretty nice, especially the beach!

hotel blue had everything you need. comparable to all of the hotels on the strand.

The hotel elevator was very slow. We only had house keeping come to the room 1 time without us calling for them.

Could use some help with cleanliness. Could also use some updates to the rooms. If I had clean feet when walking into the room they didn't stay that way long. After walking on the carpet with no shoes the bottoms of my feet would be black.

We stayed at the Hotel Blue and it was a pretty good stay. I had to call maintenance on the second day because the tub was slowing in emptying water. They didn't help too much. It was still rather slow, yuck. I like the down season because there are less people to deal with. Unfortunately, we were there during bike week and hearing cycles all day and all night got rather old. Overall, I enjoyed the stay because we had an Oceanfront efficiency room and I just adore waking up to an oceanfront sunrise.

The hotel is somewhat ran down but our room was clean. The hallways need new carpet and paint but I did take into consideration it was the end of summer and this was an older resort. Staff was very friendly and made us seem right at home. Love the location and would stay here again

Loved the beach....the room was clean but the halls n elevators were filthy. Also the pool was horrible with so much pee. We didn't even get in it. Would come back to Myrtle but not at that hotel.

Hotel was not as family friendly as described. The Vegas Style beach party was not appropriate for kids to be around

Terrible stay. Property was less than desirable, the staff was rude. Our a/c unit stopped working and we had to switch rooms twice during the night.

It was aweful. Room was bad, had bugs. complained and no one got back to me. Each time I bought the same drink at the pool bar it cost different. The pool party is disgusting. Air conditioner did not work. The refrierator froze all my food. I did not enjoy myself one bit.
