We have stayed here for 20 years. It's close to the action but not too close! Updated rooms are helpful and the staff is always friendly.

This place was nice, the staff was courteous and caring, the bars were fun, it was clean and the location is fantastic.

I've been staying at Sands Ocean Club for several years! It's the ONLY place I'll stay. The staff is great and the location is awesome. Some of the rooms have been remodeled/updated and are beautiful. On site Ocean Annies is always a great place for relaxing by the beach or meeting friends for a drink. It's the perfect vacation destination!

We stayed at Sands Ocean Club in 2016 and Ocean Dunes 2017 Loved Both places. There is so much to do in MB and the resorts with the oceanfront beach, pools, on-site restaurants are so nice and convenient. Have been coming to MB for almost 10 years !!

We absolutely love sands Ocean club. It's their friendly and helpful staff. The resort is clean all attractions are close by. If you don't want to leave the resort there are restaurants, clean beach, bars and entertainment all on site! Love this place and Myrtle beach!

Weekend get-a-ways with our friends are some if the best memories we can make. I introduced my friend to.a lot of things she has never experienced. We went on her first ever wine tasting. We went and toured Broadway at the Beach. And we even got to go see the Pirates Voyage Christmas. Show. We only spent the weekend but we had a BLAST!!!

I stay here at least twice a year and have always loved it. Everyone is always so welcoming and willing to help out in anyway.

We stayed at Sands Ocean Club for a week in July.We had a blast.From the live band,hot tubs,pool,Ocean Annies and steps away from the beach!!It was AWESOME!!

This was my first visit to Myrtle Beach. We loved how nice it was. We live in New Jersey, and found the Myrtle beaches so much nicer. We now know that the 8 to 9 hr drive is worth it. We hope to return sometime in the future.

It is a great location and within walking distance of everything. Great place to stay.

We loved our room, said the pools were clean and River City Cafe was delicious. We also loved our breakfast at Windows.

I love Myrtle Beach - was first there in 2001 and have been going at least every other year since. I take my family and they love it too! My grandson is 5 and he has already been 3 times. We love the Sands Ocean Club and always try to get an Ocean Front room by Ocean Annie's so we can sit on our balcony and listen to the music. That is one of the many special moments and memories my grandson and I will always have. Looking forward to someday purchasing a condo so we can go whenever we want.

I love the Sands Ocean Club. The bar has Karaoke, the restaurants have great food, the tiki bar is alot of fun...Ii just love it all!!

Fantastic condo with ocean front view: clean. Ocean Annie's is great for night entertainment at night. Unfortunately Sands Ocean Club was a little run down ... the upkeep of the hotel was not the same throughout the hotel.

Just recently purchased a condo there. Of course I love it !!!!

I loved it! We stayed a week in March. Perfect location, quiet end of the beach nearly in N. Myrtle Beach, off the main drag. Get a 2-bedroom so that you have beachfront view.

My husband and I have stayed there a few times and we loved it. The outside bar and music is great. We're hoping to get there next year.

I have stayed at the Sands Ocean club for the past 10 years and I don't think there is a better hotel to stay. They have everything you need and if you don't want to leave you would'nt have to. Of course Ocean Annie's is a plus. I would give them a 5 for sure. Their breakfast buffet with Thomas can't be beat anywhere. You have the pool, lazy river, the best hamburger place right off the pool. My son and his fiance loved it there so much they are getting married there Sept 7th. So our family LOVES it!!

Always a great experience. I give it a high 5! and ocean Annie's makes it complete.

We had a wonderful time as we always do in Myrtle Beach! I was very excited to ride the Skywheel for the first time, and I absolutely loved it! Another highlight of our trip that is a "can't miss" when we visit Myrtle Beach is dining at the Sea Captain's House. Sands Ocean Club is a reliable and fun play to stay. We enjoy the live music outside and the food inside and the accommodations are always nice. We had a great time and hope to come back in October.

I really enjoyed staying here because it was where the action was every day. The hotel had many fun things to do for adults and children. The food in the restaurant was very good. They had a band out on the deck every night. The room we had needed refurbishing though. I think because it's a very popular place and so the Sands Resorts should remodel the entire hotel because I was disappointed in the shape the room was in.

My grand kids had a great time even though it rained a lot. We enjoyed the indoor pool as much as they wanted too. My grands are not hard to please. I on the other hand am. I service at breakfast every day was awesome. The food was good. The rooms need to be upgraded. We spent a week here in a condominium. The first room they gave us the bed was broken. The next room was old and in need of repair. Some of the surrounding rooms looked as though they had already been upgraded but they claimed not to have anymore availability. Like I said before my grands had a great time and want to come back.

Love, love, love this place. Everything is so close you don't even have to leave if you don't want to. The facility is a little dated but the atmosphere is to die for. I will be staying here again!

This hotel had everything you could ask for in one place. Restaurants, poolside bar, music all day, right on the beach, pool, lazy river, convenience store etc. Only downfall you could hardly get a place to sit at the pool because people would go out in the early morning and put stuff on the chairs & keep them all day regardless if they were sitting there for hours at a time..

My husband and I had another wonderful vacation in Myrtle Beach during the second week in September. Our condo on Shore Drive had amazing oceanfront views of the beach and the inlet...a perfect setting for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We go to Myrtle Beach every year and always have a wonderful time...service is always great and the food at the local restaurants is always delicious. We are already looking forward to our visit next year!

It was our first time staying here at this resort. It was very nice, but geared more for the party goers than those of us who just enjoy peace and quiet.

Love this place because it has everything from live music to breakfast buffet. Rooms are always clean. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the outdoor area needs some work. Drainage problem in front of doors when it rained. Other than that, we enjoy our stays there.

Nice roomy clean hotel friendly staff and had everything we needed

We stayed at Sands Ocean Club a couple years back. It was the best stay we've had to date at MB. All of their properties offer free tickets to Wild Water & Wheels when you check in. They also give you coupons for free lunch (choice of hot dog or hamburger w/ chips & canned soda). We were right on the beach. The pools were both nice. I was very pleased.

Hotel and grounds were great. We didn't have any problems with our room or staff. Really enjoyed our stay.

Ocean Sands Club is the ONLY place we stay at the beach!! We have become wonderful friends with some of the staff at the hotel and we always get the GOLD STAR service from them!! The property is always clean and comforting when we arrive! The rooms at the hotel are always clean. And should you need anything all you have to do is call and room service is right at the door! And you don't even have to move your car when you get there because WONDERFUL Night Life, Great Food, and the beach are right there in one GREAT PACKAGE!!

Everything was very good except that only one of the four ice machines were working. The indoor bar had many undesirables wandering around on the first floor and they made finding a parking space difficult on certain nights.

When we first arrived I was not happy with the room they gave us. I then went to front desk and they upgraded our stay. We have stayed in this hotel since we started coming to S.C. 3 years ago WOULD RECOMEND IT AND ALREADY HAVE TO OTHER FAMILY AND FRIENDS.Cant wait to come again in 2014.

Stayed there a few years back and the room was outdated. I believe it's been renovated now. I would stay there again. Love Ocean Annie's and the karaoke bar.

It is a well organized establishment, fun all the way, Ocean Annies' was great,saw the most beautiful sunset one year when I was there with my group, good memories!

Owned a deeded timeshare at Sands Ocean Club for a number of yrs. sold it and moved right down the beach to a bigger one at Sands Beach Club...but we just walk right back to Ocean Annie's every year! Wouldn't think of vacationing without going there!

LOVE Sands Ocean Club because of Sandals Lounge on-site and beachfront Ocean Annies. It's the PERFECT place for a girl's weekend getaway!

Sands Ocean Club has always been great. It is a mix of what kids want and adult time too. There is a public beach bar attached..."Ocean Annies" so if you have hangups or are a prude this place would NOT BE for you! They have many properties and are a bit pricey but with the xtras and amenities you get, we feel it is a good deal. Unfortunately everyone runs into a bad experience from time to time but in the past 14 years I can honestly say I haven't!!

We've stayed here for years. Some rooms have recently been remodeled and are excellent. Ocean Annie's, sandals, and a spa on site make you never want to leave the hotel. Organized outings for the kids is a great plus. Daily lunch and breakfast out does most other resorts.

It is a fun place to stay. Love the music. Staff was very helpful, North Myrtle is a great location. It's tuck in a little area that is not so over populated. The crowd is fun & I try to visit at least once a year!

Very poor conditions for the price. Ideal location. Terrible housekeeping. Property owners need to update and require more from their "condo"" owners.

Loved staying here! We stay about 3 times a year, during various seasons.

Have stayed there several times. Some of the rooms are a bit outdated but the service is excellent, everyone is nice, the pool is always clean, Ocean Annies USED to REALLY rock, now not so much (Because of less people not because of Ocean Annies). FUN place, I highly recommend it. Love the poolside restaraunt!

Do not stay at this hotel. Has a nice view, nice people, but nasty room, old furniture, ugly rooms, stove don't work, breakfast is $12 a person per day! That's ridiculous

Rooms were outdated. Beach gets extremely crowded during the day as it is next to a public access. On site food not good

We have stayed there 3-4 times. Last stayed there 2 years ago. Unless there has been major renovations, would not recommend. I had to change our room 3 times. There was indoor mold, rooms were very worn. They do have great bands playing in the afternoon and evening by the pool. The little spa is nice and so is the lobby area, however the rooms were so disappointing.
