Sea Crest Oceanfront Resort

We have stayed at Sea Crest several times. Always very happy with the room, the service, the location. Although I live in Wilmington just 60 miles away and close to the beach. Myrtle Beach is always our get away place.

We have made two trips to myrtle beach and both times have stayed at the sea Crest staff is very friendly always willing to help with whatever you need.

We loved our beach front room with the kitchenette. We we're suppo sed to have a side few room but they upgraded us to the beach front. The out door bar was a very relaxing place with friendly people working it. The pools were also nice

Toronto We stay at the Seacrest every year in March for 2 weeks. We have booked for this March again and will be our 8th year staying at this resort. We have gotten to know some of the staff and mainly the cleaning ladies and year after year they welcome us back. One of the ladies refers us as her family in Canada. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The resort is clean and within the 8 years we have been going we have had no issues.

The hotel people were great. We had a great week. The best we have had there. Life guards were very good. All in all it was a great time.Plan on coming again in August. May stay at Captains quarters. Want to experience other hotels.

Growing up I never liked the beach. But since my last trip, I can't wait to get back there! Having your room right on the beach is amazing. I love taking pictures so I went out at 5am and wasn't disappointed! The sunrise was something I'll never forget.

I have stayed at both the Sea Crest Oceanfront Resort and the Myrtle Woods Condos and enjoyed y stay at both places. The Sea Crest is on the ocean and on the main drag where the other is off the drag but not far from the beach. I enjoy going to the 8th St Tiki bar for drinks and pizza and the 2nd Avenue pier also for drinks and lunch. In general I just love Myrtle Beach and everything there is to do there.

Actually my husband and I have been coming to this resort every year since 2011 or more. We decided to try this one and we were very surprised how great it is. It's so close to walk right down to the beach . The best time of the year is September less crowed and vey enjoyable . And the parking garage is a plus for us like to keep our car in it instead of leaving it outside. We really are very relaxed and have such a good time. We do a lot of walking on the beach and check out all the shells we can find, feel like a couple of kids each time we come here. We are originally from NY and were so close to all of the beaches . But never thought we could move to NC and still be able to get to the Ocean. Thank you Sea rest see you soon!!

This resort was great Couldn’t have been better

Nice place to stay. I like the large 2 room suite. Very affordable for a large family. We stayed in February so it was cold outside but the indoor pools and hot tub were a nice place for the kids to play.

We stay at the Sea Crest every year we go to Myrtle Beach. The location is great, walking distance to family kingdom and several restaurants. Clean rooms and pools, beautiful ocean view and friendly staff.

Leaving a 5 star for the sea crest resort. This resort made me feel very safe, I was traveling to the beach with my kids by myself as a single mom and was scared with all the viloance going on in myrtle beach. I felt very safe in his resort and did not even have to leave the resort they had everything we needed and the staff was amazing and even helped with the things they did not have at the resort so we didn’t have to leave and feel unsafe. Will always be staying at the sea crest on every visit I make in the future.

This is an amazing resort for the family! There is so much to do and so much to see!

We stay here every time we're down! We last stayed in September 2017. The price is just right, the view is amazing, and we love all the activities and the location. We always stay in the Tides building, usually a double queen efficient room. The place could use a spruce up, but it's mostly just cosmetic stuff. It really is a WONDERFUL place to stay.

We always stay at Sea Crest Resort. The resort is always clean, the service is always great, and our family loves the pools, lazy river, and kid's pool play area. The restaurants are fantastic. Great walkway to the beach and so relaxing.

We have been coming to Myrtle Beach for over 20 yrs and stayed my at the Sea Crest Motel. We love the beach. It is so clean and the front desk at the morel are very friendly. We look forward every year to our vacation at Myrtle Beach and will be coming again this year.

I love this place. I have been staying here since I was a young teen and absolutely love the hotel. It is nicely furnished, has lazy river, hot tubs and indoor and outdoor pools and in a great location.

What is there not to like?!?! The hotel is perfect for our needs and the location is perfect for us. Plenty to do at the hotel and the surrounding areas.

A beautiful resort. I was upgraded to a beautiful room when I went into the room we had reserved to find it dirty. They made it right, and I had a very relaxing, unbelievable evening in Myrtle Beach. Probably the best memory of Myrtle Beach. I will definitely be staying at the Sea Crest on my next visit. Thank you Sea Crest! Truly an amazing and beautiful resort.

This is the best hotel I have had the pleasure of staying at in Myrtle Beach! Friendly staff, Very clean, modern, and the pools are great! I have stayed here on a family trip with the kids, and a romantic anniversary trip with my wife, and each time has been a blast! The kid's activity pool made me wish I was little again! Great beach front rooms with good beach access from the hotel. You will definitely get the most bang for your buck at Sea Crest!

We really enjoy staying at this family beach resort. There are plenty of fun amenities for the entire family. We have stayed here several times over the years in August or September. We love the Sea Crest Oceanfront Resort!

My husband and I enjoyed his birthday weekend at the beach. The staff was friendly and very attentive checked on us to make sure everything was satisfactory and indeed it was. The room was very clean, spacious and had all the accommodations we needed. We are looking forward to our summer visit with the family.

We Loved our stay at The Sea Crest! It's fun in the sun all day long and then we got our Karaoke on until late at night! What a fun exciting adventure for everyone, no matter what your age! Our children ages, 9 and 14 Loved as much as my husband and I did! The hotel is a very clean feel at home hotel. The staff was so friendly as if they was your own family. I would recommend this hotel above all others in Myrtle beach! We have stayed at many hotels in Myrtle Beach and this is my family's favorite! We couldn't go last year, due to a leg injury I had, right before our trip! We can't wait to get there this summer!

We have stayed there twice. The staff is great. Love the outside amenities. I like the ootside bar. I also like the fully stocked kitchen. It's a great family resort. And I really miss the beach. I really wish I could go on a vacation again.

WE HAD A AWESOME TIME AT THE BEACH. SEA CREST RESORT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND THE STAFF WAS ALWAYS VERY FRIENDLY AND PROMPT. WE ATE AT A LOT OF DIFFERENT PLACES AND SHOPPED UNTIL WE DROPPED. THE BEACH WAS CLEAN AND REFRESHING, I WENT TO SLEEP BY THE WATER. WE HAD AN AMAZING TRIP AND I WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK AGAIN SOON.

Seacrest Resort has stolen my heart. It was my first trip to MB. I have always gone to Disneyworld and my boyfriend asked to go to MB. So, 6 months before our arrival date, we started planning, I began to search for a hotel. Remember I am use to Disney. I know everything there is to know about their resorts. I had heard horror stories about MB resorts and I was quiet nervous. After doing 3 months of research, we had settled on Monteray Bay. Wait, we stayed at the Sea Crest! The night before booking the resort, we found the Sea Crest. It stole my heart! I booked that night. Walking into the Sea Crest room was wonderful! Bedroom separated by kitchen and bathroom to walk into a living room with ocean front view? My heart had been stolen. Don't get me wrong I'm a Disney girl through and through, but because of the Sea Crest Resort, MB is tied with Disney! It was clean, the staff was friendly, check in could be a little better, but I've dealt with much worse at Disneyworld. Stay at the Sea Crest, it is so close to all destinations. It's clean and definitely stay the 4th floor or above. People complained about the elevators, never did have a problem. I loved parking across the street in their parking garage. Never got sand in my car, it was always cool to get into, and I really didn't worry about people breaking into it. I loved it and will be staying there again and again and again.

We had a great time, and have been at the Sea Crest for 17 years that we have been coming. Usually we travel in August but because of dance we were down a month early. We will be back in 2 years for the dance convention but down for Thanksgiving this year.

Me and my family had a teriffic stay there. Very clean room the hotel workers were super nice and when I do go back this is where I will be staying.

Stayed at Seacrest several years in a row. Love the the beach bar and nightly karaoke in summer months. They have some nice pools and lazy rivers and a great water park for kids. It's in a great location just a couple of blocks from Family Kingdom. Rooms are clean and fresh every time we arrive. Staff has always been helpful and friendly.

I love staying at the sea creast hotel for location and for the hotel itself.

We left home at 6pm taking a chance wit a gps and some hand wrote directions from a guy wit computer in a restaurant.Me/boyfriend and our kids ages 7,12/17 then. Now they are still 7 b-day in November(daughter) 13( youngest son)18(oldest son).We never been and always wanted to go so we just took off. We arrived there at 3am I had a discount paper for Captain Quarter's. We had been riding for 9 hrs straight, when we got there the man at the front desk was so rude to us we left. My boyfriend was like babe we can go somewhere else we don't have to deal wit that. And that's what we did we ended up right next door, how crazy is that. We went to Sea-Crest Resort and at that time of morning they were so nice to us. They even put us in a oceanfront suite wit to queen-size beds.While we were there it was kinda cool, so the kids swim inside and we did to. We also walked the beach and took lots of pics as well. We went out to eat,seen a car show and shoped ion some of the stores. We had a great time thanks seacrest.

Its affordable, Very nice has somthingfor everyone especialy to occupie children.. theres a water park area and several smaller pools ( a 6in pool, and 1 foot pool and pools for us big kids to) the view was awesome...we look forward to out next stay

I would just like to say Sea Crest is one of the best places that I have stayed @ in MB. We came down in 2009 with reservations for another hotel, and needless to say, me nor my family was going to lay their heads down in that place. I got my best friend on the phone, & told her we would be coming home, and she said no. So we got off the phone, and she called Sea Crest, couple of blocks down from where we were at. They allowed us to come down there, look at their rooms, we went ahead and stayed that night with them!!! The best customer service and the next morning, we went ahead and made everything available for us to stay there the rest of the week. Only one downside was the parking, but we have 4 kids, and it still wasn't "HORRIBLE" to get across the street. Thank-You Sea-Crest for a GREAT vacation!

My family and I go to Seacrest every year. You can't find a finer place to stay for the money. The rooms are great, nice and clean, lots of activity on site(karaoke, beach bar, lazy river, pools) Great location a couple blocks from Family Kingdom and the staff is so friendly ! I highly recommend them

The hotel has a lots to do for parents and kids

We stayed in the most economical rooms, which was not oceanfront. It was a basic hotel room with 2 beds just like anywhere else. Nothing fancy, but the rate was a lot better for a shorter stay than other resorts. The water amenities are what we liked the most. Lots of pools and kid features. It was a convenient location to what we like to do at Myrtle Beach. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Sea Crest is the very first oceanfront resort my husband and I visited in Myrtle Beach. New to "Myrtle Beach vacationing", we found Sea Crest to be reasonable, clean, and convenient to most every attraction. Now, many moons later, we still enjoy Sea Crest, mainly because we can get an oceanfront room at a most reasonable rate. During the winter season, "snowbirds" enjoy the indoor heated pool, which is a great feature if travelling with children. Even though we visit "off season", Myrtle Beach really does not have an "off season". It is LIVE year round.

We stayed at sea crest hote during our vacation in august past summer. It was our first time in myrtle beach. We booked hote online. Overall our experince was satisfying. Hote room and hallways were not very clean. Building was old. But the good part was that it was oceanfront. And ocean was just step away and we could even the waves breaking on the beach at night. My kids enjoyed the water park. Magic show was really good in the resort. The movie theatre was pretty old and it stink there. Overall a good experience.

It was clean and had a lot of amenities for families. Very affordable price beachfront property for a family with a young child on spring break. The unit we booked had a separate bedroom, full kitchen and living room plus a balcony that over looked part of the beach and outdoor water park. Very nice and good location too. Would definitely stay again.

I reserved a room for our anniversary and it was wonderful. The weather was cold but the hot tub and room was so great we spent the whole three days in the room enjoying each other

Vacationed here in september. Was the most relaxing vacation ever. Sea Crest was a great resort to stay. Resort was clean and property was well maintained. Just a step away from the beach. Loved having a ocean view from the balcony. Enjoyed beach every day. Beach was full of shells and sharks teeth! Lyft ride away from excellent restaurants. Mostly enjoyed the relaxing beach doing nothing but shelling and watching the sun ups and relaxing waves.... Loved Myrtle Beach!!

Been staying here for years always have great time

We have stayed at this resort many times. There are many fun activities, great food, nice rooms and of course the beach. You can see the sunrise, the sunset, low tide or high tide. There's nothing better than being at the beach.

First time @ Sea Crest...Nice Resort with lots to do.....really enjoyed location, snack Bar on yard, & nice breakfast area.....We were with our grandchildren & they really enjoyed it...we travel to Myrtle at least 2 times a year.... Being at the Beach relaxes you & it is a whole different place to see the sand & ocean....One of our favorite places to visit

We rented 3 oceanfront rooms at this resort for a family vacations. The only complaint we had was the mattress on our bed was horrible. I think I read that the mattresses have been replaced. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We booked a last minute getaway for a one night stay and discovered the Sea Crest! We were able to get ocean view unit and it was a very nice clean room. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a friendly face at our check in and were informed of the location of all the great amenities! The only thing that was a disappointing was the one person balcony

The staff seamed mostly friendly. Bathrooms can be cleaner. I would have a little better security on the premises during the daytime hours

The Sea Crest was so wonderful I have never even looked at other places to stay. We first discovered it in 2013 after we lost our daughter in a car accident. I have never felt more at peace in my life. Great pools for kids and adults. Beachfront to see the most amazing sunsets and sunrises. Close to shopping and attractions. Our favorite thing to do is pay $1 and hang out on the pier. We love Myrtle Beach the people and the staff are the nicest in the world. Wish we called it our home.

Myrtle Beach is a great family place to visit. We brought two of our kids (teenagers) We went to a Christian concert that was in the area during that time and we spent a lot of time in the pools and by the ocean. There is plenty to do for all ages. I felt safe there. the only problems we had were slow elevators, solicitors coming up to us trying to sell us time shares everywhere we went, and not having enough plug-ins for our various devices we needed to charge. Everything else was great. I hope we get to return again soon.

The hotel seemed and felt clean. Didn't really see many staff. Check in and out went smoothly, even got to check in early. Didn't care for parking across the road.

Loved staying at Sea Crest. Office personnel was helpful and friendly, rooms were clean. The only drawback was the limited parking for handicap guests, too many spaces for "high-top" vehicles in comparison to handicap spaces.

The staff was welcoming and accommodating to us upon arrival. Our room was clean and well kept up and the housekeeping staff was considerate when cleaning our room. We had a full kitchen which made it great to make a fast meal for breakfast and lunch so we could try new dining experiences in town.

Had a great time. Loved the hotel, it was in a gret location. Will be back next year.

It was a beautiful experience. The hotel was nice. The only issue was the amount of people checking in and waiting for elevators (took up to 20 minutes)

I have stayed at two different properties both were equally nice. They had karaoke, and lots of pools for the kids. Seacrest had a water slide. I would like to visit again.

We have been going to myrtle beach for 20 years. We did foster care.every child we took over the years never went on a vacation before plus the ocean was the best. Their face all lit up was fabulous.

On arrival our room was not ready it was well after check in time, during our stay, they only serviced the room 3 times, not sure if that is standard. They only comped us $70 to use at the resort, needless to say it didn't get us much a few drinks at the bar. I feel they should of upgraded out room or given us a free night since after 12 hours drive, we had to wait to check in.

This is a typical ocean front family style hotel in Myrtle Beach with things at the pool area for kids to enjoy. Rooms were clean and pleasant enough. It's nothing fancy but it was just fine for a weekend stay.

The parking was terrible, they should have parking available for each guest/room. Also there should sheets available to use for the pull out bed always. The microwave was on top of the fridge and plugged in by an extension cord!! This is a fire hazard and hard for me to reach. Also the washer/dryer was not to be used during the time we stayed, so why pay the extra for that? This also was not disclosed at anytime, just a sign posted in the room.

The stay was good. everyone at hotel was nice. the only problem we had was we had two handicapped people in our party and it was rough getting up the stairs when the elevator broke. the staff done everything they could do tohelp us with this matter. infact my family hopes to return here in June 2014. thanks to all who helped us out

the rooms were smaller than what we had the previous year, we had a side view right over the dumpster and not enough pots and pans. Room smelled like fish when we first got there.The parking is a problem and not enough elevators.

We had to stand in line 2 hours to check in. The ice machine by our door was leaking on the floor by our door, down the outside area. I'm guessing they have mold in the air condition. Because I'm allergic to mold and dust and I coughed all night.

This was our 2nd time staying at Seacrest.The room was nice but the layout in the kitchen didn't have any space to prepare food and the sink was very small. The dinner plate didn't even fit to wash it. The oven was right beside the door to come into the room. As well there was a light just as you come out of the bathroom on the wall that was at the level to hit your face or head, which did happen. The weather was awful. It rained alot and we hardly saw any sun. Even the hotel staff the weather wasn't seasonal. The pool didn't seem to be heated, even though it advertises heated pool. So with the weather not being hot znd the pool not feeling heated it was very disappointing.we have also stayed at coral. The pool was nicer there but the rooms weren't as nice. Also coral had entertainment and karaoke. Which we missed staying at the Seacrest.staff was very nice at both locations!

We had stayed at the Sea Crest before, but this time things weren't very good. Other than the hotel, the rest of the trip was wonderful! The beach, the pools, the shopping, the restaurants! All great! We love Broadway at the Beach. Myrtle Beach is our favorite vacation spot. We like being able to take the casino cruise. We just won't be staying at the Sea Crest anymore.
