The Strand

Over the past 35_years we have stayed at many motels and resorts at Myrtle Beach but last year's stay at The Strand was the best. The hotel was great and had everything we wanted. The staff was amazing! So friendly and helpful. The location was great too.

My husband and I have stayed 2-3 times, and we loved it. Everything is so clean, beds are comfortable and breakfast is great; and last but not least the staff is so helpful and friendly..Especially my lady that works in the dining room she is so sweet and friendly, and her smile is contagious. The Strand will always be my first choice..

My wife and I stayed for her birthday and it was great!! The view was amazing from our 2 decks and we had free movie rentals and fresh baked cookies. Morning breakfast was amazing and too many other amenities to list. We will return again and again.

We like the Strand very much.

The Strand is a smaller resort with the amenities of a bigger resort. The staff are amazing and so helpful. The pool and hot tub are always enjoyable and relaxing. The daily breakfast is perfect in every way! You get the most for your money staying at The strand and I will never book with any other when I visit Myrtle each every spring!!

This is a layed back friendly resort. We have stayed here 3 times and enjoyed ever minutes of our stays. Fantastic service!

My wife and I have enjoyed three vacations at the Strand Hotel. This has become our home away from home when we vacation in Myrtle Beach. The amenities are first rate but at a very reasonable price. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful whenever needed. We always stay in a ocean front suite because it gives us the room to live almost as comfortably at the beach as if we were at our own home.

The room was amazing. We were in an ocean front suite with two patios. The ocean breeze was amazing. Also had free dvd rental and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and the daily breakfast was incredible.

Go there every year. Rooms always clean and people are friendly. Breakfast always good. Glen Park Watertown

We love the stand . Clean rooms great staff great breakfast. The rooms are comfortable , clean & beautiful and the view is amazing. We call the stand our home away from home. cant wait til we are here again . Lots of great shopping , restaurants close to hotel . fresh coffee , lemonade and cookies waiting for you as soon as you walk in the door , with a smile to greet you.

The suite was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, had a great view, staff was nice and friendly. The breakfast was awesome!!!!

My wife and I have been coming here for the past nine years We have stayed at least 9 times. We like it so much we keep coming back. It is so close to everything and convenient. We have been blessed with great weather every time we have visited. We sometimes come twice a year. The staff is always helpful. We come home every year with new shells to add to our collection from the beach. The restaurant and shows are great as well as the shopping. We always try one or two new restaurants as well as our old favorites.

A great hotel, a wonderful experience for the perfect vacation! We received a great deal as well!

The Strand was very clean. The room we had was an ocean front king room. The room was very clean and the view was great ! Everyone was great to deal with !

We love the strand, Rooms are perfect with a GREAT view , the workers are so nice . Well kept room , Great hot breakfast . And best part is the BEACH !

Best staff that will make your stay very enjoyable. The beach is clean and pretty much free of cracked sea shells.

The Travel Park in N Myrtle Beach, is a really nice Beach front campground, with heated pool and water park.

I absolutely love Myrtle Beach! I have been coming for 44 years now. It is my vacation “spot”! I leave the door slightly cracked at night and listen to the waves as I fall asleep and it’s the 1st thing I hear in the morning! I’m content just sitting out on the balcony. It’s a whole different world for me. I hope to someday live there. It is a dream I have had for many years. The staff at The Strand were great. The scenery is fabulous! The sand and water on my feet give me pure ecstasy. I most definitely will be back!

Clear Lake This is a perfect place to stay on the beach. Great hospitality from everyone . Rooms are very specious. Gorgeous view! Location, right in the middle of the all the activities within walking distance. Stayed here 3 times and was great.

This was one of our best Myrtle Beach vacations. It had been 10 years since we had been there. The Strand is a great place to stay. Very nice, convenient and comfortable with a friendly staff. It was nice to be there off season so we could roam around and take in all of the changes as well as revisiting some favorite spots.

We stayed at The Strand for 9 nights in 11/17. The staff was great and the property was very well maintained. Nice hot breakfast included daily. Our king oceanfront deluxe efficiency was the largest & nicest room we have had in over 40 trips to Myrtle Beach over the years. Spacious, granite/stainless kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, central heat and air. The Strand is a sister property in The Breakers group which kindly sent their shuttle to take us to a sports bar to watch NFL football on the 1st Sunday of our stay. We will be back in 2018.

My stay at the strand was very enjoyable!.......the room was great, very modern, & the view of the ocean was awesome! i especially like the breakfast every morning!....what a selection , pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, i could go on & on!......excellent location!....convenient to everything!

last min vacation , we decided to go to MB never been so we said what the heck. We fell in love with the town the people the hotel , Employees where awesome , Very clean rooms ,Great food , Great shopping . We met a couple and became friends . Now we all meet every year in April . We have been trying to go for our anniversary in Oct but Hurricane stop that real fast packed and ready to go , and everything canceled Booo. We are still trying to go since we never had a honeymoon as we watch the weather . So if now we will see you in April 2018 for 9 wonderful days at your resort

We have been staying at The Strand, ( Breakers Boutique ) for a number of years now. Always friendly staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping, clean bright rooms, great breakfast, pools, hot tubs and grounds are cared for daily. Location for us is also key, close to everything that we enjoy about the beach. We visit twice a year, Spring and Fall. Home away from home. Thank you Myrtle Beach.

Went for a weekend in mid September. Had stayed there previously for a week in August. Great place to stay. The suites were large and comfortable. The breakfast bar was one of the best we have had at a hotel. The ocean front view was spectacular and it was only a few steps to the beach. Everybody we encountered from the resort were pleasant and helpful. We will be back.

We were super impressed with this beautiful hotel..The staff was amazing......ive never been to a hotel where the staff was as accommodating and friendly as the staff at the strand..The room was awesome..The view from our room was spectacular the view of the ocean was picture perfect.. and you can walk right onto the beach and relax in your louge chair and watch the sunrise or sunset.or you enjoy the view your 2 oceanfront balcony's..the room was so spacious..and clean..everything you need is right.there.....the washer and dryer in the unit was great..you don't have to go home with dirty clothes..after my stay ..the only thing I could talk about was this hotel and how soon can I come back..lol...

The Strand was a very nice and clean room. The room makes you feel like you want to stay longer. That was my first stay at the Strand but when I go back I will be definitely staying there again. I love the breakfast down stairs in the dinner and the lunch.

The Strand hotel was great! The facilities were clean and well kept. The beds were soft and comfortable. The free breakfast, activity options and free movie rental were great money savers. All of the staff members were courteous and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

The resort was amazing and everyone was so friendly. Our room was awesome and so clean!!! The Continental breakfast had so many choices. Let's not forget the free DVD rental! We enjoyed many hours at the resort's restaurant and bar. Our view from the balcony was breathtaking! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This was our fourth visit to Myrtle Beach. It is our third time stay at The Strand and it just keeps getting better. Rooms are clean, employees are friendly and helpful. The resort has been updated and looks great and we just love it. Breakfast buffet is included and is a great way to start the day. Can't wait for this August and another great week in Myrtle Beach!

We love staying at Breakers North Boutique, now The Strand, the employees are friendly, kind, and helpful. The hotel and grounds are very clean. This is our favorite place to stay.

Stayed in the offseason and everything was great!

Right smack in the center of it all. This hotel is close to everything you want to do! Minutes away from all the attractions.We have stayed at this hotel 7 times and keep coming back. We have tried others but find this one works the best for us. A great breakfast to start your day is included. We love the pool and excess to the beach is so accessible. The room is comfortable with a kitchen (we eat most meals out) and love sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down. The people at the desk are friendly and very helpful.

Since moving to Danville,Va 9 years ago, my wife and I started coming to Myrtle Beach. We came the first year for a visit and now we come in the spring and in the fall every year. Sometime we come as many as 3 times a year. We bring our adult children down from the North as well. Having tried several hotels we have settled on The Strand. We have now been there 7 times and we are booked for this May as well. Most likely we will also come back in the fall. Even though we have both turned 80 and 81 respectively we still lead a very active life. In fact most people are surprised to hear we are as old as we are. Hey, were proud of it! The staff at this hotel is always accommodating and helpful. Great breakfast and close to the beach.

We have stayed at the Strand several times over the past few years and have really enjoyed it. The breakfast is fantastic, the rooms are nice with a beautiful view and the hotel is located in the heart of Myrtle Beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Strand. The view from our room was great, the breakfast bar was terrific and the beds were very comfortable. My only complaint would be the thinness of the walls.

We enjoyed our January stay at The Strand. The balcony view was great and the room was very comfortable. The walls seemed a little thin as we did hear a good bit of noise from the hallway and other rooms. The breakfast was fantastic, just about anything you could possibly want.

Our stay was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. More attention should have been taken when cleaning our room. Bar stools, chairs, kitchen cabinets were dirty and sticky. I finally wiped them off on the third day of our stay. The bathroom wall had the same dirt on it for our entire stay. The hotel bar closed too early, some nights it closed earlier than the hours posted. The music at the pool was kept on later than the pool closing time, had to call the front desk to have it turned off to be able to go to sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Breakers Boutique Tower North (now renamed The Strand.) Friendly staff, and a clean and comfortable suite. Also, not too shabby, was the included breakfast that we enjoyed several times. We liked our stay enough that we have already booked for our vacation this year and are eagerly looking forward to it.

We enjoyed our stay at The Strand room was clean the staff was very polite and helpful they did make a change on the eggs on the buffet not as good as last time we where there but other than that had a good time

We stayed at a boutique hotel located right on the beach. All of the staff were very helpful with any requests we made . Shopping , relaxing by the pool, dining at area restaurants, taking in a show or just walking the beach. Everything was great. Even the weather. Most memorable... sleeping with the sound of the ocean.
