Formerly Canal Street Recreation Center, Mary C. Canty Recreation Center offers recreational activities, classes and lessons for all ages. The center includes a gymnasium, weight room, swimming pool, game rooms, playgrounds and a banquet hall with kitchen and ice machine.
The center offers many youth sports leagues like basketball and flag football. There is also an after-school youth program which includes arts-and-crafts activities, swimming, sports, games, homework assistance and fitness programs. Canty Rec. Center also offers swimming lessons and aqua fitness classes.
