This fishing fleet originally began when owners of the Hurricane Restaurant, Frank and Mary Juel decided they needed a functioning fishing boat to serve the restaurant customers. With this idea in mine, Frank Juel traveled up the coast of North Carolina looking for a boat. He later returned with an 81-foot Navy PT to be the first boat of the Hurricane Fleet. Gulf Stream Fishing is an 11.5-hour trip taken on Hurricane Fleets biggest boat. This vessel has bathrooms on board and fishing licenses are covered for all guests. Rod, reels, and bait are also provided on this trip. If you’re wanting to travel to deep sea depths and catch some fo the biggest fish in the area- the Gulf Stream trip is perfect for you! The Gulf Stream Fishing charter costs $125 per person.
Half-Day fishing is the perfect family fishing option and lasts 4.5-hours. There are bathrooms on board this vessel, and fishing licenses are covered for all guests. Rod, reels, and bait are provided on this trip, too, as well as drinks and snacks! The Half-Day Fishing charter costs $45 per person.
Private Charters with Hurricane Fleet can be customized to your personal preference! You get to customize the length of the charter and choose the target fish! There are bathrooms on board this vessel, and fishing licenses are covered for all guests. Rod, reels, and bait are provided on this trip too. Private Charters start at $500.
Hurricane Fleet offers a wonderful 2-hour dolphin tour perfect for the whole family! There are bathrooms onboard this vessel, and drinks and snacks will be available. There will also be a naturalist on board that will empty a barrel of critters from the ocean for the family to see too! On this trip, guests will take a trip out to Hurricane Fleets shrimp boat to see dolphins and learn more about the ocean. The Dolphin Cruise is $25 per person and runs daily.
