Part water park and part go-kart race track, Wild Water & Wheels offers the ultimate summer adrenaline rush for visitors looking to cool off and burn rubber at the same time and place.
Located in nearby Surfside Beach, Wild Water & Wheels offers chills and thrills for those who like life in the fast lane. Make a big splash on the more than dozen water slides and water attractions, and race to the checkered flag on the race tracks. Wild Water & Wheels also features cabana rentals, putt-putt golf and other options for a slower-paced experience.
Zoom down the intimidating water slides, including the Triple Dip, the Side Winder, the Serpentine and the Free Fall Cliff Dive, which propels passengers down the steep slope at speeds up to 45 mph. Mat slides include the Head Rush and Wild H20 Racer, while tub slides features the White Water Express and The Dark Hole, which Southern Living named the best scary ride in Myrtle Beach.
The most popular pool is the Wipe Out Wave Pool, which offers waves up to 4 feet in height. Patrons can grab a float or mat and ride the swells to the sounds of summer music and crashing waves. The Lounge Pool and Lazy River offer more relaxing places to chill out. The 950 Lazy River features cascading waterfalls and a stop at the Frog Island play station. Youngsters also have their own designated areas, like the Kiddie Pool, Wee Kids Water World and Wally’s Lagoon, a treehouse-themed aquatic playground.
Wild Water & Wheels also offers plenty of things to do on dry land, primarily the five go-kart racing tracks designed for all ages and speed levels. More experienced drivers can battle it out on the Speed Racer and Go-Kart tracks, while youngsters can get up to speed in the Intermediate and Junior Racers tracks. The Two-Seater course allows parents and children to ride together. There also Kiddie Rides, Bumper Boats and an 18-hole mini-golf layout for the whole family.
Wild Water & Wheels offers food and drinks at the food court and a video arcade.
