The Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center is where visitors come to rub elbows with the stars and take selfies with wax figures of A-list celebrities. But it isn’t all about being star struck by big names, especially for those who dare to try Outbreak: Dread the Undead.
Located across Highway 17 Bypass from the main Broadway at the Beach complex, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center offers three exciting attractions in one. While the Hollywood Wax Museum and Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors provide lighthearted fun for all ages, Outbreak: Dread the Undead provide a terrifying trip to Chemacorp Lab, where experiments are conducted on human patients to prevent the spread of a deadly virus.
Of course, things go horribly wrong during your tour of the testing facility, morgue and rotting basement as the life-sized zombies begin to come to life and attack. Patrons are left to fend for themselves for survival, including an escape from the zombies and some frightening surprises.
For an experience that is more fun than fear, check out the sister attraction Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors, a high-tech version of the usual house of mirrors. Based in the fictional, underwater Kingdom of Savannah, this fantasy-style attraction takes you on a journey to rescue Princess Hannah, who is trapped in the labyrinth by the evil Ugly Hetty. Follow the clues left by King Oscar and Queen Emmy to locate the princess and lead her to freedom through an ever-changing maze of mirrors to become The Chosen One.
Visitors also gravitate to the main attraction, the Hollywood Wax Museum. Displaying realistic wax figures of the biggest stars from the world of movies, music, sports and entertainment, the Hollywood Wax Museum gives visitors a plethora of photo ops to pose with their favorite stars. Many of the wax figures are staged in settings that allow you to play a walk-on role in blockbuster movies and backstage areas to take a selfie with your heroes.
