This locals-approved diner is one of the more popular spots in Myrtle Beach, serving 50’s-style fast-food and sundaes, shakes, and floats.
The Hamburgers and Hot Dogs are the main attraction here (along with the Ice Cream, of course), but the list of Sandwiches and Fries also includes a Fried Bologna sandwich, a Veggie Burger, Grilled Cheese, Corn Dog, Deluxe PB&J, and Chili Cheese Fries, to name a few.
Burky’s might also be one of the only places in South Carolina to serve Cincinnati chili, a thin, sweet, and slightly spicy version of chili con carne, available plain, with cheese, or over pasta with cheese (known as a 3-way).
They also have Fresh Garden Salads on the menu every day, with options including Choice, Deluxe (with chicken), Pasta, or Taco. And during the colder months, Burky’s does a Soup of the Day, rotating between Chicken Noodle, Cream of Broccoli, Lumberjack Vegetable, and Creamy Clam Chowder.
To enjoy a scoop of ice cream or a great shake, either save some room or take it to go and put it in the freezer for a great snack later.
The dining area here is the basic tables-and-chairs setup, with bright interior walls and extra welcoming service, making it a very family-friendly environment.
