With clean and simple decor, concentrating on wood tones and elegance, California Dreaming is ready to serve you and your friends a succulent lunch or dinner. There are two locations on the grand Strand. They have been voted “Best Traditional American Restaurant” by the local WMBF News and “Best of the Beach – SALAD” by the local newspaper, The Sun News.
Start with an appetizers of Peel and Eat Shrimp, Onion Ring Loaf, or a basket of their much praised Croissants topped with honey butter. Their California Dreaming Salad is a customer favorite, with ham, turkey, two cheeses, eggs, mixed greens and almonds. Also try the Broiled Salmon salad, Hot Vegetable Salad, and the decadent Steak Salad. They serve four kinds of nachos including Spinach, Seafood, and Traditional. They offer a large variety of sandwiches including a Turkey Burger and Sliced
Prime Rib Sandwich. Guests will be satisfied by the variety of Pasta, Steak, Seafood, and Chicken dishes that include fried seafood, oven roasted Salmon with rosemary and thyme, a NY Strip, Petite Filets and Shrimp Combo, Cheese Ravioli and Knob Hill Chicken. Menu prices range from $5.95 to $29.95.
Guests are greeted with a spacious, well laid-out restaurant that feels airy with the large windows provide plenty of sunlight as you dine. Servers are dressed in crisp white shirts, black ties and floor-length white aprons. California Dreaming has a full bar ready to serve your favorite drink. Open for lunch and dinner 11:00 am-10:00 pm Sunday – Thursday and 11:00 am-11:00 pm Friday and Saturday. To reduce your wait to be seated, phone-ahead seating is available.
