This unique location is a combination of restaurant, art gallery, coffee shop, and lounge. A place to see and be seen, guests can experience Collectors any way they wish.
The menu is fresh and creative with unique pairings. A Pan-Sautéed Scallop Cake appetizer is all the rave and comes in a tomato, scallion, and lemon buerre blanc. Other first course options include Filet of Beef Carpaccio, Grilled Yellowfin Tuna with Oriental couscous, and a Fried Oyster and Arugula salad. A standout on the list of entrees is the Pan-Seared Duck Breast which is served alongside escarole, a cannellini bean ragout, whole grain mustard, and sweet potato fries. There’s also a local catch of the day paired with Black Bean Sauce, Saffron Rice, Chipotle Cream, and Mango Salsa. Vegetarian and Gluten Free options are available as well.
The local paintings on the walls give the space a trendy vibe. And it doesn’t hurt that some of Myrtle Beach’s prettiest faces frequent the place. That said, being in Collectors is a bit like not being in Myrtle Beach – it’s more cosmopolitan and artsy than the average Grand Strand eatery. As far as the layout, Collectors has numerous spaces from the main dining room to private nooks and crannies that are perfect for small, intimate gatherings. In the end, the overall theme is upscale and vibrant.
