This all-you-can-eat paradise has established itself as one of the Great American Buffets over the years. If you’ve eaten at one, you’ve eaten at them all, so get a drink, pick a table, and belly up to the buffet as many times as it takes.
As with all buffets, the beginning is completely up to the diner. Here, you can start with a salad bar full of over 50 options like fresh lettuces, veggies, croutons, meats, and several dressings, or jump right into the main courses. There’s also a fruit bar to be reckoned with, offering fresh pineapple, melon, berries, and other seasonal items.
For the main course (or whatever you want to call it), mix and match your favorite culinary genres by choosing to fill your plate with standards like Grilled-to-Order Sirloin Steak, Pot Roast, Fried Chicken, Meatloaf, Bourbon Street Chicken, Spaghetti, Pizza, and more. Fill out your meal with a side or three, like Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Macaroni and Cheese, Broccoli, Cabbage, Potato Salad, Carrots, Baked Potatoes, Corn, and whatever you want from the Bread Bar to soak up the juices.
Not that saving room is required, but the options for dessert include an assortment of Pies, Cobblers, Cakes, Soft-Serve Ice Cream with Toppings, Cookies, and more. Also, don’t forget the Fruit Bar at the other end of the buffet.
The dining room at this chain of buffets is no-frills, with large sections of tables not too far away from each other. But you don’t go to Golden Corral for the ambiance; you go to eat massive amounts of food for one fixed price. So there’s no need for modesty – no one will be judging your intake here.
