Hot Stacks Pancake House

Liked the piled-high pancakes that gave this place its name, Hot Stacks stores are starting to pile up on the Grand Strand. There are now three locations – Myrtle Beach, Restaurant Row and North Myrtle Beach – which says something about a growing local chain in a market flooded with breakfast joints. The less-popular lunches are tasty too.

Hot Stacks Food

The breakfast basics – eggs, bacon, sausage, grits and pancakes – are all available, but Hot Stacks gets creative with its morning menu by offering several omelet combinations and breakfast sandwich options. The Breakfast Club is a traditional club stacked high with bacon, ham, lettuce and tomato) with scrambled eggs. The most intriguing item on the menu is the Greek Cado Roll, a wrap filled with eggs, bacon, feta cheese and tomato. Of course, the pancakes get top billing thanks to the wide variety of toppings, including the Marble Pancakes topped with chocolate chips and icing. Lunch features a mix of soups, salads and sandwiches.

Hot Stacks Atmosphere

Nothing too fancy here, just a traditional pancake house that’s a little north of modern by comparison. Tables and booths are scattered throughout the dining room. The friendly service makes the right mood in the mornings.
