“Famous” is Kings’ middle name, and it’s not a misnomer. This family owned and operated establishment has been serving up hot pies in North Myrtle Beach for more than 32 years, achieving institutional status among locals and annual visitors alike.
Kings is “famous” for its pizza, but traditional Italian and Greek dishes are popular favorites for those who have discovered that it’s more than just a pizza parlor. Still, first-time guests should indulge in a Classic White Pizza with mozzarella and ricotta cheeses, olive oil, garlic and oregano, or the Zorba’s Greek Favorite Pizza with feta cheese, black olives, tomatoes and spinach. But the Chicken and Veal Parmesan and Mousaka make up a comprehensive Mediterrainian menu. Kings also has a full lineup of starters, salads and subs, including the Hot Pastrami Parmesan and the classic Meatball Sub, and the gyros are the real deal. Dine-in or take-out are available.
Kings feels like the offspring of an old-school Italian pizzeria and a classic Greek deli, all wrapped up in a beach casual environment. Alcohol is not available and families make up the biggest crowds in the summer months. This is a place everyone should visit at least once to get the full North Myrtle Beach experience.
