This counter-and-tables eatery is the younger sibling of longtime Broadway at the Beach restaurant Amici’s Brick Oven. Located on the opposite side of the shopping and entertainment complex, Little Amici’s offers a faster, more convenient alternative to the sit-down style of service at its parent restaurant.
The menu here sweeps through Italian-American classics, covering everything from Garlic Breadsticks to Strombolis. Lighter fare includes a Caesar or Amici’s House Salad, and several different styles of Paninis – Caprese, Eggplant, Veggie, Basil Chicken, and Italian. Pizza options include standard brick oven style with your choice of toppings, or one of their Specialty Pizzas like the Molto Meat Pizza (meatball, pepperoni, bacon, ham, sausage) or Amici’s Lovers Pizza (pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onions, peppers). A few traditional pasta dishes are available, including Spaghetti Marinara, Baked Penne, Spaghetti Romano, and Fettuccini Alfredo, to which your choice of chicken, sausage, or meatballs. The Calzones and Strombolis are also baked to order, and the options include highlights like the Sicilian Stromboli (grilled chicken, onions, tomatoes, mozzarella, and Alfredo sauce) and the Gladiator Philly Stromboli (shaved sirloin, mushrooms, peppers, onions, mozzarella).
Kids 10 and under also have some good options at Little Amici’s. Assuming their appetite matches their age, the younger crowd can choose from Spaghetti with Meatballs, Pizza, Fettuccini Alfredo, Fried Macaroni & Cheese Bites, Chicken Fingers and Fries, or a Corn Dog and Fries.
The dining area here is pretty basic, a walk-up counter where you place your order, different sizes of tables to choose from. But there’s also a small amount of seating outside, where you can do some people watching while you munch on your calzone. Like all Broadway at the Beach eateries, the summer months are much more hectic, while things are much calmer during the other seasons.
