Longbeard’s Grill

This Carolina Forest hunting-lodge-style eatery is tucked back near the Intracoastal Waterway and offers a great view from its back patio, where outdoor firepits and cornhole boards bring people to party on the porch.

Owner and avid hunter/fisherman Ronnie Hribar opened this place as a tribute to the outdoors, and proof of his many kills and catches hang on the walls for all to see.

Longbeard’s Food

Longbeard’s offers a unique menu of traditional American cuisine to lots of wild game, including the Alligator Bites, Wild Boar Wings, Quail and Grits, and Buffalo Ribeye.

But the menu also features more classic fare, like soups, salads and appetizers for those who just can’t bring themselves to eat Bambi or any other woodland critters.

The steaks and freshcatch seafood are cooked the outdoors way, over a fire with plenty of spices, and the fried shrimp and fish are prepared camp style with fries and slaw. If you have room for dessert, you’ve got to try the Deep-Fried Oreos.

Longbeard’s Atmosphere

The all-wood interior and plethora of stuffed trophies on the wall make you feel like you’re at a hunting cabin in the woods, and the view from the back porch confirms the environment. A large fireplace in the middle of the restaurant is a great mood-setter, and the vibe is good times as many gather at this establishment for the hot food, cold beer and friendly service.
