Noizy Oyster Food

An esteemed travel writer from Atlanta recently visited the Noizy Oyster. She was researching Shrimp and Grits, and fell in love with the Noizy Oyster’s creamy version. It may be small and rustic, but our dishes are big on flavor and proper execution!

But let’s back up to the appetizers. Some of our regular guests always order the Seafood Nachos, which are made fresh to order with a creamy three-cheese sauce and lots of crab meat, shrimp and scallops, along with a generous layering of garden-fresh toppings. Others swear by the Crab Dip, which is served warm with bread and tortilla chips, and the Sweet Potato Fries that are piled with red and green onions, chopped tomatoes, blue cheese sauce and blue cheese crumbles.

Many tables love the appetizer options so much, they order several and share. It may be a seafood restaurant, but the hot, barbecue and garlic Parmesan wings are excellent along with Fried Mushrooms served with creamy horseradish sauce, Fried Dill Pickle Chips that come with Ranch dressing, and our sweet Hushpuppies accompanied by freshly whipped honey butter. But seafood purists have more appetizer choices, including Fried Calamari with a choice of spicy marinara or Kung Pao dipping sauces, Group Bites, Fried Oysters, Mussels or Clams in Garlic Butter White Wine Sauce, and Buffalo or Coconut Shrimp.

Noizy has an excellent raw bar, and there are several house favorites. They get in Gulf oysters, but Noizy also offers delectable fresh raw oysters from throughout North America that are hand-shucked to order and served on the half shell with five toppings: classic Mignonette, ponzu with roe, Sriracha and lemon, gin and tonic with cucumber, and classic Kilpatrick. Little Neck clams are served with butter and lemon, cocktail shrimp come with cocktail sauce and lemon, and ahi tuna is lightly seared and served on a bed of seaweed salad.

For those who prefer their seafood hot and steamy, Noizy Oyster has buckets of steamed oysters along with Steam Pots for one or two people filled with crab leg clusters, crawfish, shrimp, Andouille sausage, red potatoes and corn on the cob. The fried and crispy fans delights in platters with mix and match choices of scallops, shrimp, coconut shrimp, oysters, clam strips and flounder.

Several sandwich choices fill a variety of cravings. Seafood sandwiches include Fried Catfish (or the best fresh white fish they can procure), Po’ Boys filled with flash-fried oysters, shrimp or crab cakes, a thick Blackened Tuna sandwich dressed with spicy wasabi aioli, and two taco choices: Blacked Mahi with cucumber lime creme or Buffalo Shrimp with blue cheese, cabbage and tomatoes. For those who aren’t in a seafood mood, Noizy offers a hearty Buffalo Chicken or Grilled Chicken sandwich along with a half-pound All-American Cheeseburger.

Entrees also offer variety, including Jambalaya, Crab Cake Dinner with buttery succotash, grilled Mahimahi with fresh pineapple salsa, and Grilled Salmon served with creamy wild mushroom risotto and asparagus. The Smothered Chicken is tender, and flavorful with mushroom demi-glace, while Fried Chicken comes with incredibly delicious and butter-rich mashed potatoes and French green beans. Entree choices are rounded out with Honey Apple Barbecue Ribs, Fish and Chips, New York Strip Steak, and Penne Pasta that can be bathed in house-made Alfredo sauce or spicy Fra Diavolo and topped with chicken or shrimp.

Salad lovers can’t get enough of Noizy’s classic Iceberg Wedge that’s big enough to share or hearty enough to be an entree, and the Caesar salad that’s classically prepared. If soup and salad is your preference, She-Crab Soup and Darell’s Gumbo are filling choices.

Whether you enjoy dessert while at the restaurant or take it with you to savor later, you won’t want to miss Chocolate Toffee Mousse Cake, Creme Brûlée Cheesecake and Key Lime Pie!

Children have several $5 meal choices: Fish Fingers or Chicken Fingers with fries, Mac ’n’ Cheese, Cheeseburger or Hot Dog with fries, and Popcorn Shrimp with fries.

Noizy Oyster Bar

The friendly Noizy bartenders have a lot of delicious cocktails they love mixing up. A few include the Elderflower Martini, Cucumber Gin and Tonic, Strawberry Lemonade and Moscow Mules crafted with Bondfire Restaurant Group’s signature house-made ginger beer. Stevie’s Between the Sheets features light rum and brandy, The Noizy Daisy starts with whiskey and Grand Marnier, while Gordo’s Scorpion Punch contains light and dark rums and brandy. For some guests their visits aren’t complete without one of our enormous fishbowl cocktails, like The Zipper with vodka, rum and Chambord.

Noizy Oyster also offers draft, bottled and canned beers and a variety of wines.
