The Restaurant

Ramando’s owners Dave and Dino Mavroidi have been serving traditional Italian cuisine for more than four decades, the last three on the Grand Strand. The natives of Italy sold their Toronto-based restaurant and relocated south to Myrtle Beach in 1984. Ramando’s has developed a loyal following among visitors who return year after year. While many neighboring restaurants in the downtown district have failed, Ramando’s has stood the test of time.

The Food

Ramando’s features all the authentic Italian dishes one would expect, but also puts a heavy emphasis on local seafood. Starters include Crispy Calamari, French Onion Soup and Caesar Salad. But be sure to save room for the generous portions of pasta dishes, ranging from the basic Spaghetti and Meatballs and Lasagna to more upscale creations, like the house special Chicken Ramando with mushrooms, carrots, tomatoes, garlic and Feta cheese over a bed of angel hair guests can get any combination of the following favorites –Chicken Marsala, Eggplant Parmigiana, Veal Piccata, Linguini With Red or White Clam Sauce.
