Family owned and operated, Sole Italian Restaurant in Myrtle Beach delivers the experience of having dinner at a close friend’s house with outstanding food and atmosphere.
Located along Kings Highway, Sole has a convienient location for visitors and locals alike.
Owners Chef Carlos and Patricia Ribera run a tight ship of family members who go the extra mile to make guests feel at home.
Open for lunch and dinner, Italian classics highlight Sole’s diverse menu from start to finish. Hot, fresh bread dipped in pesto greets every table, but try not to fill up on the free stuff and save room for some good stuff. The salads are fresh and appetizers, like the fried calamari and bruschetta, are great ways to start your meal.
Entrees include all the Italian favorites, such as lasagna, linguini and clam sauce, manicotti and veal parm, are popular items. House specials include the Sinatra chicken and the clams in wine and garlic sauce.
There is a limited amount of seafood on the menu, but the shrimp scampi and salmon are outstanding. The mouth watering linguini malafemina is one of Sole’s most popular dishes. This delicious dish is served with shrimp, scallops, clams, muscles and fish, with a white wine and garlic sauce or a red spicy fried Diablo.
All the sauces and pastas are made on site, and so is the cheesecake … if you can still find room for dessert.
The restaurant isn’t filled with fancy or over the top decor, but then again, some of the best Italian food can be found in less-than-fancy confines.
The quaint dining area and friendly service make guests feel comfortable and welcome. The interior is classic family Italian restaurant where the emphasis is on the food, not the mood.
