Villa Romana

Owners Rinaldo and Franca Montrosse, who also serves as executive chef, bring a taste of their native Italy to downtown Myrtle Beach. Featuring traditional Italian dishes and family recipes handed down by the late Mamma Lucia, Villa Romana has been packing in hungry visitors and locals since 1985.

Villa Romana Food

Classic Italian dishes and house specials that fittingly focus on fresh seafood, Villa Romana offers a little something for everyone. Enjoy veal served in the traditional Marsala, Milanese, Piccata or Scallopine styles, or try the house creation Absolut, featuring veal topped with sautéed mushrooms and a vodka cream sauce. The rack of lamb and orange roughy make an excellent surf-and-turf selection, and there’s a wide range of shrimp, chicken and pasta dishes. For the ultimate Italian seafood experience, the Risotto Pescatora features mussels, clams, shrimp, calamari, scallops and the fresh catch of the day in a creamy rose sauce with Italian Arborio rice and Parmigiano cheese. Villa Romana also offers daily specials, desserts, a full bar and an extensive wine list.

Villa Romana Atmosphere

The interior is somewhat surprising at first glance – classic Roman architecture in a cozy, candle-lit dining area. The look is upscale but the mood is casual and guests return year after year to enjoy the favorites they have come to love over the years.
