Vintage Twelve

Vintage Twelve offers Lowcountry and Southern cuisine in a fine-dining oceanfront atmosphere. With a menu that features local fish, fruits, and vegetables, dishes change with the seasons in order to keep things fresh.

Vintage Twelve Food

The menu is divided into three main categories – Soups and Salads, Small Plates, and Entrees. The first group includes standard options like local Baby Lettuces with pickled vegetables and spicy herb dressing, or the Charleston She Crab Soup with sherry and lump crab.

Of course the menu is seasonal, but some of this past summer’s offerings included Roasted Corn Hush Puppies with pimento cheese fondue; Lump Crab Cakes with pickled okra slaw and sweet pepper aioli; and a Goat Cheese Flatbread topped with caramelized-onions, balsamic, and marinated tomato.

The list of main courses includes highlights like Carolina Mountain Trout with smoked bacon, sweet potato salad, arugula, and shallots; Cast Iron Pork Tenderloin with butternut squash hash and apple cider reduction; and local Shrimp & Grits with blistered tomatoes, Tasso ham, confit garlic, and chive emulsion. Also, make sure you pay attention when your server tells you about the day’s fresh catch, because there’s nothing better than well-prepared fresh fish.

Vintage Twelve Atmosphere

The panoramic ocean view from the dining room is one of the best among area restaurants, which is perfect for a relaxing night out. Otherwise, the interior is outfitted in contemporary furniture and chandeliers – contemporary enough to not be stuffy, chic enough to lend sophistication to the space.
